My Billionaire Stepmother and Seven Sisters

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: A Song Just for Me

The next morning, I woke up feeling warm and cozy in my mother's arms. She held me so close, like she was afraid I would disappear if she let go. When she noticed I was awake, she kissed my forehead and whispered, "Good morning, my little love."

After breakfast, Mia, my sixth sister, suddenly grabbed my hand, her golden eyes shining with excitement. "It's my turn today!" she announced. "You're coming with me, little prince!"

Before I could even protest, I found myself in a fancy car with Mia, her long brown hair bouncing as she hummed a tune.

"Where are we going?" I asked, still a little sleepy.

"To my music studio, of course!" she said with a wink. "You're about to see how your big sister makes magic with music!"

The car stopped in front of a tall building with huge posters of Mia's face on the walls. People outside screamed her name, holding signs that said, "Mia, we love you!"

Mia waved at them, smiling brightly. When they saw me, they gasped.

"Who's that cute boy?!"

"He's Mia's little brother?"

"He's adorable!"

Mia squeezed my hand and whispered, "See? You're already a star."

Inside the studio, everything was shiny and high-tech. Giant speakers, microphones, and computers filled the room. A group of musicians was practicing, and the moment Mia entered, they all stood up to greet her.

"Boss!" they said in unison. Then, their eyes landed on me. "Oh! Is this the little prince we've heard so much about?"

Mia nodded proudly. "Yes! Everyone, meet my baby brother."

I blushed as everyone smiled at me warmly. They treated me like I was someone really important.

"Would you like to hear your sister sing?" Mia asked, crouching in front of me.

I nodded eagerly. Mia led me to a giant, fluffy chair and sat me down like a king. Then, she stepped into the recording booth, put on her headphones, and gave me a wink before the music started.

As soon as Mia began to sing, I felt like I was floating. Her voice was soft yet powerful, like a gentle breeze and a strong wave at the same time. It wrapped around me, making my heart feel warm. The lyrics were about love, family, and never letting go.

Halfway through the song, Mia looked straight at me and pointed.

"This song is for you," she mouthed, smiling sweetly.

My chest tightened. No one had ever sung just for me before. I felt something unfamiliar—happiness so big that it made my eyes sting.

When she finished, the entire studio clapped. Mia rushed out of the booth and scooped me into her arms. "Did you like it?" she asked, her voice hopeful.

I didn't answer with words. Instead, I wrapped my arms around her neck and buried my face in her shoulder. I was still shy about showing my feelings, but Mia just laughed softly and kissed my cheek.

Then, she surprised me even more. "Want to try singing with me?"

My eyes widened. "M-Me?"

"Yes! It'll be fun!"

Before I could refuse, she pulled me onto her lap in front of the microphone. The music started again, and Mia guided me through the simple lyrics. My voice was small and nervous at first, but Mia cheered me on, whispering, "You're doing amazing!"

By the time we finished, the whole studio clapped louder than before.

"He's a natural!"

"Maybe he'll be a singer like you, boss!"

Mia laughed and hugged me tight. "No matter what he wants to do in the future, I'll always be his biggest fan."

I didn't know what to say, so I just held onto her. It felt nice. Maybe… just maybe… having sisters wasn't so bad after all.

As we left the studio, Mia held my hand tightly, swinging it back and forth. "Today was fun, right?"

I looked up at her, then slowly nodded. "Yeah."

Mia's eyes sparkled with joy. "Then we'll do it again soon, my little superstar."

I smiled just a little. Maybe I wouldn't mind that.
