Chapter 11: Chapter 11: A Day in the World of Fashion
The morning light streamed through the massive windows of the mansion, casting a warm glow over the extravagant bedroom I shared with my new parents. I yawned, stretching my small arms before rubbing my eyes sleepily. Today was another day with my new family, and despite my hesitation, a part of me had started growing accustomed to their overwhelming affection.
Just as I was about to snuggle back under the soft blankets, the door to my room burst open, and in walked Charlotte, my fifth sister. Her long, flowing hair and elegant attire made her look like a real-life princess, but the excitement in her eyes gave away her playful side.
"Good morning, my little prince!" Charlotte greeted, kneeling beside my bed with a dazzling smile. "Today, you're coming with me to my fashion studio!"
I blinked in confusion, still waking up. "F-Fashion studio?"
Charlotte nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! You'll get to see how I design clothes, meet models, and even try on some outfits yourself!"
Before I could protest, my mother entered the room, smiling warmly. "It's Charlotte's turn today. Be a good boy for your sister, alright?"
I lowered my gaze, unsure about all this attention, but seeing my mother's reassuring smile, I gave a small nod.
Charlotte wasted no time dressing me up in a stylish little suit before whisking me away to her grand fashion studio in the heart of the city. The moment we arrived, I was overwhelmed by the sight of tall models, designers rushing around, and racks upon racks of beautiful dresses and suits.
"Welcome to my world, little brother!" Charlotte announced proudly as her staff turned their heads towards us.
Suddenly, all eyes were on me. Gasps and excited whispers filled the air.
"Oh my goodness, is that Charlotte's little brother?"
"He's so adorable!"
"I want to design something for him!"
Before I knew it, a group of designers and models swarmed around me, their eyes sparkling as they gushed over how cute I was. Some patted my head, while others cooed about how they wanted to dress me up. I instinctively hid behind Charlotte, clutching onto her dress tightly.
She chuckled, patting my head. "Alright, alright, everyone, don't scare my little prince."
The attention slowly eased as Charlotte led me to her design room. Sketches, fabric samples, and mannequins filled the space. She picked up a few designs and showed them to me.
"These are all outfits I designed! And today, you get to try on some special ones just for you."
I hesitated. "Do I have to?"
Charlotte pouted playfully. "Pretty please? Just one? For your big sister?"
Her pleading eyes were hard to resist. Reluctantly, I nodded, making her squeal in excitement. Within minutes, I was dressed in a tiny royal blue suit with gold embroidery. The moment I looked in the mirror, I barely recognized myself.
"You look like a prince," one of the designers commented.
"You really do!" Charlotte grinned. "Wait, I have a better idea."
Before I knew it, Charlotte had set up a mini-fashion show for me. A small stage was arranged, and my sisters arrived to watch. I stood awkwardly at the end of the runway, my tiny hands gripping my jacket nervously.
Mia cheered. "Go on, baby brother! Show them how handsome you are!"
I gulped, feeling the pressure of their eager eyes. Slowly, I took my first step forward. The room filled with soft gasps and applause. As I walked, my sisters clapped and cheered, making me blush deeply.
"You're a natural!" Olivia praised.
Charlotte beamed with pride. "I knew he would look perfect!"
Though I was initially embarrassed, their love and encouragement made me feel warm inside. Maybe… just maybe… being part of this family wasn't so bad after all.
After the fashion show, Charlotte carried me in her arms, peppering my face with playful kisses. "You were amazing today!"
I hid my face in her shoulder, feeling shy. "It was… fun."
She gasped dramatically. "Did you just admit you had fun?"
I quickly shook my head, making her giggle. "You're adorable."
As we left the studio, my sisters gathered around, each of them eager to take their turn bringing me into their world. Despite my lingering hesitation, my heart felt a little lighter. Perhaps… I wasn't so alone anymore.
