Multiverse Heroes: Magical Destinies(AmphibiaxSVTFOExTOH)

Chapter 25: A Few Side Quests

With the curse lifted, everyone had returned to Mewni's throne room. Barely a word had been said, many not sure what to make of this new developing situation. Star was especially quiet, taking a seat on her throne while everyone else stood aside.

While the focus should be on helping Star protect Mewni from potential invaders, the biggest thing on their mind was what would happen regarding Marco and Marcy. With the young man no longer bound to Star, he should be able to make his own choice on who he wants to date.

"So...now that all this is out of the way, let's focus on what's ahead," Star said, hoping to move on. "Belos...Andrias...and how to stop them."

"One of them is a King, right?" Janna asked.

"Well, technically both are," Marco said. "While Andrias has the title of King, Belos has the title of Emperor, which is kind of like a king, right? I'm not sure if there's much of a difference between a Kingdom and an Empire."

"There is, but we're not here for Geography Lessons," Star said.

"I don't think that's Geography," Sasha pointed out.

"Does it matter!?" Star asked, focusing on her Earth Friend. "Janna, was there a reason you wanted to know if any of them were Kings?"

"Yeah, if they're Kings and Kings usually have castles...wouldn't it be easier to go to their castle and trash the place?" Janna asked. "Just completely destroy it, and you shouldn't have any trouble."

"Janna, if it was that easy, don't you think we would have done it by now?" Marco asked.

"I don't know, you're all pretty disorganized as a group at times so I wouldn't be surprised if it slipped your mind," Janna said.

"Wow, the balls on this girl," Sasha said.

"Janna, ideally it would be a good idea to strike the castle, but we still need a plan, otherwise we're risking our army," Star said.

"Not to mention that Andrias and Belos working together makes this job a whole lot tougher," Marco said.

"Aren't you like, chosen ones or something?" Janna asked.

"Huh? Says who?" Marco asked.

"Yeah, we're not chosen ones," Anne said. "At least, I don't think we are."

"I don't recall being part of a prophecy," Luz said. "That'd be cool though, because it might mean we're destined to win."

"Or lose," Sasha said, earning some glares. "Come on, you really think that I want to lose? I'm just trying to be realistic here."

"Personally I'm not sure if I want to follow destiny," Amity said. "I like the idea that my choices are mine alone."

"Sounds like you're a big believer in fate," Marco said. "Still, Janna, neither me nor the girls are 'Chosen Ones'."

"We're just normal teenagers who got mixed up in all this," Anne said.

"Well...to be fair, it is likely that we were destined to meet in some way," Marcy pointed out. "I mean, consider this. Myself along with Anne and Sasha got sucked into Amphibia and ended up completing the Calamity Box and revealing the truth regarding King Andrias. Then you have Luz who ends up in The Boiling Isles and started turning the tides against Emperor Belos."

"That's more coincidental than anything," Luz said. "I'm pretty sure if any other kid went through that door then it would be that kid who's the big hero, not me."

"Same here, if some other kids found the Calamity Box, they'd be the heroes too," Anne said. "The fact that it's us is pure luck."

"Whether that luck is good or bad is yet to be determined," Sasha said.

"Hey come on, we already established that this is a good thing," Marcy said. "We all got to meet and be friends. That's plenty worth it for me."

"Aw, how sweet, you found time to bond before you all potentially die," Janna said.

"Janna! Can you for once take things seriously!?" Marco shouted.

"Hey I'm being plenty serious right now, right now Mewni's at war with two realms, if you don't think of a plan, then this is the castle that's gonna fall," Janna said. "Something tells me this is nothing like what you went through with Meteora or that Toffee guy."

"Speaking of those two, I gotta check in to see if anyone's found Eclipsa," Star said.

"It's been like weeks or something, has no one really seen her in all that time?" Amity asked.

"What about Mina Loveberry?" Sasha asked. "Has she been around?"

"Not that I know of," Star said. "Personally I'm not too worried about Mina. She's lost a lot of credibility after a stunt she pulled a while back."

"You mean when she tried conquering Earth?" Marco asked.

"Well more like she wanted to conquer America, but she got voted out," Star said.

"Gotta love democracy," Sasha said.

"Says the girl who wanted a Kingdom," Amity said.

"Who says a Kingdom can't have democracy?" Sasha said.

While they were all talking, a robotic fly was seen in the distance, recording the interaction with everyone.

"Excellent, my spy gear is working well," Andrias said. "With this we can keep a close eye on our enemies."

"This is quite impressive," Belos said. "And done without magic too?"

"Got that right, good old technology," Andrias said. "It's pretty rare in this world, I have pretty much all the major tech."

"The human world nowadays seems to have this type of technology as well," Belos said. "I believe Hunter mentioned something called a 'phone' recently."

"Oh yes, one of those 'Smart Phones' as Marcy called it," Andrias said. "It's supposed to be for calling long distances, but you can also do other things like take pictures, record, listen to music, play games, it's marvelous. I'm almost surprised Mewni isn't well adjusted, but that world's a bit more old fashioned compared to Earth."

"Seems there is a lot to learn about Earth before the takeover," Belos said.

"We did agree that I'd get most of the planet, right?" Andrias asked. "I mean, you're content with The Boiling Isles, aren't you?"

"For now, but if I get bored I can always steal your throne," Belos said.

Andrias stared in confusion for a second, before he started laughing out loud, "Oh you are such a trickster. Who says you don't know how to have fun." Andrias kept laughing, the feeling dying down when he saw that Belos's demeanor hadn't changed. "Uh...you are joking, right? You're not actually going to betray me, are you?"

"Who? Me? Now why would I do that?" Belos coyly asked.

"Okay see, I can't even tell if you're being sarcastic, and I'm usually good at reading people," Andrias said.

"You worry too much," Belos said. "Relax yourself, I am not interested in your throne. No offense but I do not believe I could handle having to rule a world like this one. It's far too...what's a kind word...?"

"Just be blunt," Andrias said.

"Awfully primitive," Belos said. "Even compared to my world. And I rule over the Boiling Isles, you know what the origin of my hometown is, right?"

"Unfortunately...yeah," Andrias said, looking a little weirded out. "Whose idea was that again?"

"Hardly important now," Belos said.

"I can't imagine I can even last in your world, doesn't the rain boil?" Andrias asked. "Or is it regular water that hurts you because you're a witch?"

"I never understood that stereotype that witches are hurt by water," Belos said. "Granted the water where I'm from is harmful since it's always boiling, hence the name of my home."

"It's just something I heard from Marcy once," Andrias said. "Which is weird since the witches in her book don't seem to have that problem."

"The witches in her book are merely humans with magic, not actual witches," Belos said. "I doubt any human truly understands witches, it's just one big fairy tale to them."

"At least you get to appear in fairy tales, the same cannot be said for newts like me," Andrias said. "Even frogs and toads get to appear in fairy tales, especially frogs."

"I did hear once that humans believed frogs were actually princes in disguise," Belos said.

"I heard that too! And all they need a kiss from a beautiful woman or something," Andrias said. "Then the frog turns back into a human."

"Why do you suppose that fairy tale exists? Is it supposed to say something about frogs and amphibians?" Belos asked.

"Hm...good question, I feel like there's an important moral behind it, but I can't figure it out," Andrias said. "Kind of a shame I had to betray Marcy, times like these I miss her company."

"Did you honestly care for her?" Belos asked.

"Um..." Andrias scratched his head. "Well she was entertaining to be around. It was nice having a friend to talk to after so many centuries. Plus, she's a very gifted child. She's the only one who beat me in Flipwart."

"What is Flipwart?" Belos asked.

"A strategy game, Marcy says humans have their own version, it's called Chess," Andrias said.

"Oh, that I am familiar with," Belos said. "You and I should indulge in a game."

"Of Chess or Flipwart?" Andrias asked.

"Either one is fine with me," Belos said.

"Excellent, I'll get everything set up," Andrias said. "Then we can-"

"Is that a robot!?" the two heard Marco say from behind the monitor.

"Uh-oh..." Andrias turned back to the monitor, seeing that his spy drone had gotten too close to the group and was immediately spotted by the heroes. He quickly grabbed a mic, "Please pay me no mind, I am but a mere insect."

Belos glanced at Andrias in confusion, "Tell me that was a form of jest."

"I wish I could," Andrias said. "Maybe they'll buy it thought."

"I recognize that voice! It's King Andrias!" Sasha shouted.

"Uh, no I'm not! I'm...Buzzy the Robot Fly!" Andrias said, earning a face palm from Belos.

"Oh...well it's nice to meet you 'Buzzy'," Marco said. "Why don't you come inside and-GET HIM!"

The teens quickly jumped and attacked, immediately destroying the bug, save for the monitor part that was still playing as Andrias watched on, seeing his robot destroyed while Belos continued silently judging Andrias.

Marco picked up the monitor, glaring intensely into it, "It's only a matter of time Andrias. When I'm done with you and Belos, you're both going to wish you never even gazed at a throne." The teen then crushed the monitor in his hands, surprising Andrias and irritating Belos.

"That is one intense kid," Andrias said.

"He's got guts, I will give him that," Belos said. "But he is only human. I will personally make sure he remembers that by the time we're done."

"I wish to do the same, but I will admit, we need more of an advantage," Andrias said. "Mewni is still relatively new territory for you and myself. Traversing across will be no easy feat."

"I am fully aware," Belos said. "I did have a few scouts in place, but at the moment, they are prepping for Coven Day."

"No offense, but is planning a holiday really that important right now?" Andrias asked.

"It is a key part in maintaining my control over The Boiling Isles," Belos said. "If I cancel it for any reason, or have it be lackluster, the citizens may grow curious. I do not want them thinking there is a problem, nor do I want them believing I do not have it under control. I already lost some credibility after my battle with Hekapoo and her human pet, it was thanks to Terra that I even obtained a chance to rebuild my credibility. Part of ruling is presenting yourself with a strong and immovable demeanor."

"I can agree with that," Andrias said.

"Though, I had experimented the idea of bringing back an old enemy of Mewni," Belos said. "A lizard man known as Toffee."

"I believe I've heard talk of his among your minions, especially the one called Ludo," Andrias said. "Do you have a way to bring him back?"

"Unfortunately, I do not at the moment," Belos said. "Toffee is unfortunately deceased, and my magic alone cannot revive him."

"So, there's no hope?" Andrias asked.

"I refuse to believe that, there is a way, the problem is that I tried using magic from my relam," Belos said. "To revive Toffee, I may need Mewman magic."

"Or perhaps...a bit of Calamity," Andrias said, gesturing to the Music Box. "Will reviving this Toffee fellow be enough? Is it even needed? Can't that Ludo fellow be your Mewni guide?"

"Ludo is next to useless, I am only keeping him alive because he at least makes for a decent babysitter," Belos said. "Once his usefulness expires though, I will gladly dispose of him. Toffee will be much more useful to me in the end, if I can revive him, then that will bring us one step close to destroying our enemies."

"Did Toffee have any friends that could help?" Andrias asked.

"He did assist in commanding Ludo's army, in fact he led a siege on Mewni decades ago, so it's not out of the realm of possibility his allies may still be around," Belos said. "Ludo can help with that."

"Getting all the use out of him that you can, very smart move," Andrias said. "I will do my part of course."

"Speaking of assistance, perhaps you should check on Hunter and that robot of yours," Belos said, turning to leave. "I have an heiress to attend to."

"Sure, you do that," Andrias said as his ally left. He focused on another monitor. "Hunter? Are you there?"

As Cloak-Bot searched around town, he received his call from Andrias. "Yes King Andrias?"

"Cloak-Bot, where is Hunter?" Andrias asked.

"Hunter is currently destressing alongside Just Jackie," Cloak-Bot said.

"Oh that's good I...wait, destressing how?" Andrias asked. "Also, who is Just Jackie?"

"A female human acquaintance of Hunter," Cloak-Bot said.

"A female human acquaintance? What female acquaintance?" Andrias asked. "I told you both that you have your objectives! Destroy Anne Boonchuy, Marco Diaz, Sasha Waybright and Luz Noceda. In addition, you have to capture Marcy Wu!"

"Just Jackie indicates that Hunter will have higher proficiency without stress," Cloak-Bot said.

"Listen, this Just Jackie girl does not give the orders, I do!" Andrias said. "How did you two even come across her?"

"On a random occurrence while looking for your book," Cloak-Bot said. "She is seemingly familiar with Marco Diaz."

"Oh, she is?" Andrias asked. "Like a friend of sorts?"

"It is very possible," Cloak-Bot said.

"Hmm...you know, this might work to our advantage," Andrias said. "Next time you come across this girl, see how much information you can get out of her. Use any force necessary."

"Concern, use of force may not settle well with Hunter," Cloak-Bot said.

"Hardly my problem, you both have a job to do," Andrias said. "Hunter's future may rest in the hands of his uncle, but you future rests in mine. Do not disappoint me."

"Yes sir," Cloak-Bot said, rerouting his objective.

Back in Mewni castle, Star and her guards were cleaning up the remnants of the spy robot while Marco and the girls watched on, keeping a close eye on things.

"So, how much of our conversation do you think Andrias caught on tape?" Anne asked.

"Hard to say, but we know what this means," Marco said. "We need to keep an eye out. Clearly Andrias is sending out spies anywhere he can, and Belos might be doing the same thing."

"You think that might include people too?" Luz asked. "Like someone in Castle Mewni working for Belos?"

"Let's be careful what we say out loud, otherwise we're gonna get the guards all worried," Marco said.

"Got that right," Janna said, getting their attention. "Suppose someone mistakes one of you for one of Belos's guards? Or working for King Andrias."

"Don't start with that, Janna," Marco said. "None of these girls are traitors."

"Didn't that Sasha girl betray you?" Janna asked, gesturing to the blonde.

"Who told you about that?" Sasha asked.

"Kelly...she seemed pretty disappointed," Janna said. "Been like that for a while too."

"Knock it off," Marco said. "Look, regardless of what Sasha may or may not have done, she's on our side. She made it very clear she'll side with us over Belos or Andrias."

"Exactly, so if I were you, I'd watch your tone," Sasha warned aiming her sword. "You talk a lot of shit, but something tells me when push comes to shove, you won't be able to back it up."

"Whoa, easy there, there's no reason this needs to lead to a swordfight," Marco said. "Let's try to be friends here."

"Whateves, just make sure you and your girlfriends watch your backs, Diaz," Janna said. "Even if none of you are traitors, that doesn't mean someone else here can't be."

"...Did you really need to call them my girlfriends?" Marco asked.

"Yes," Janna said, making her leave.

"And, I regret suggesting the traitor thing," Luz said.

"No, it's fine, you do have a point," Marco said. "We need to be aware of the possibilities. What we don't need to do is start spreading rumors."

"Exactly, we gotta stick together and show faith in our allies," Anne said. "Now, we still have to figure out next steps. Such as getting into Andrias's castle and destroying him and Belos."

"We'll need plenty of allies," Marco said. "I don't suppose anyone has some ideas."

"I do!" Polly said, the girl walking over alongside Sprig and King. "Frobo can help!"

"Frobo? You mean your robot friend?" Amity awkwardly asked. "Didn't he...you know."

"Yeah, he seems to have bit the dust, but I think there's a chance to save him," Polly said. "We just need to rebuild him, simple right?"

"Not simple," Marco said. "We don't know anything about building robots."

"Come on, there's gotta be a way," Polly said. "Aren't humans technologically advanced?"

"We are, that doesn't mean we all know how to fix robots," Marco said. "It's possible we can find someone."

"How about the internet?" King suggested. "Luz says the internet is very useful and has all the answers."

"No way, the internet isn't exactly trustful," Anne said. "Polly, we'll figure it out, right now fixing Frobo is going to have to wait. Besides it's too big of a task for you to do alone, you're only a kid."

"I'm not just a kid, I can do this!" Polly said.

"Don't argue with Anne, Polly," Luz scolded. "I know it's hard but you have to wait on this. Don't do anything reckless."

"But…" Polly pleaded

"I'm seriously Polly, don't go nuts with this, you're smart but this may be out of your league," Anne said.

"Aw...this sucks!" Polly said, King doing his best to comfort her.

"We'll figure something else out, don't lose hope," King said.

"Back to the allies thing, is there anyone else in Amphibia who can be useful?" Amity asked.

"You know...there is Yunan and Olivia," Marcy said.

"Okay, but aren't they loyal to Andrias?" Amity asked.

"We don't know for sure," Marcy said. "Maybe they were just as surprised by what Andrias did and want to side with us."

"We'll keep that in mind," Marco said. "At the very least, we know Buff Frog's going to help."

"What about the Boiling Isles?" Anne asked. "Do we have all the muscle there that we need?"

"Edric and Emira plan to help," Amity confirmed. "Lilith will be willing to as well."

"What about Raine?" Luz asked.

"Anne and I saw him the other day, but he was acting strangely," Sasha said. "With this talk of traitors, I hope Raine isn't among them."

"No way, Raine did a lot to help, I can't see all that hard work getting thrown away," Luz said.

"We'll check on Raine later then, when it's safe to do so," Marco said. "As it stands, there's still others who can help. Like Pony Head, and Talon, and especially Kelly."

"What's this I hear about Kelly being depressed though?" Sprig asked.

"I don't know...I gotta figure that out," Marco said.

"Speaking of figuring things out, I'm still a bit worried about that imposter living in my mom's house," Luz said. "I'm gonna go look into that."

"Right behind you," Anne said. "Everyone else coming?"

"Actually, I might go and check on Kelly, I'm really worried about her," Marco said. "I don't suppose anyone wants to join me."

"Marcy would," Amity said, freaking the girl out.

"Hey! Don't just volunteer me for stuff!" Marcy said.

"Hm? So you don't want to check on Kelly?" Amity asked. "That's a bit surprising, you are the nicest girl here, I figure if anything you'd want to make sure she's safe."

"Now you're gonna guilt me into it?" Marcy asked in disbelief. "Shame on you, Amity!"

"Hey if you don't want to go with Marco, I will," Sasha said, affectionately placing her arm around the boy. "I bet he'd love my company."

"Uh..." Marco nervously rubbed his head. "I mean, I don't mind your company, but..."

"Actually, if Marcy doesn't go, then I'll go," Amity said, wrapping her arms around Marco's waist and affectionately pressing her head against his. "He and I can catch up."

"Excuse me, but aren't you like, into chicks?" Sasha asked.

"I can make an exception for Marco," Amity said, gently rubbing his chin. "He's cute enough for me to be with. For the first time in my life, I'll consider a boyfriend rather than a girlfriend."

"This is a first..." Luz said.

"Well I have more experience liking boys than you do," Sasha said. "So I should be with Marco."

"Things are getting weird," Anne said.

"I'm a fast learner, so let me be with Marco," Amity said, nuzzling her nose against his cheek. "I want him to show me why boys are good lovers."

"I'm not the best example of that," Marco said.

"No, let me, I'm much more suited," Sasha said, pressing her cheek against Marco's. "Plus I want some alone time with this handsome guy."

"Girls, please," Marco said.

While this was happening, Marcy angrily puffed out her cheeks. Seeing these girls rubbing against Marco and flirting with him really made her unhappy. "That's it!" She pulled Marco away from the two girls, "I'll go with him, if only because I can't stand the idea of you girls making him this uncomfortable."

"Oh gee, so much for my plan to be with Marco," Amity said in a feint sad voice.

"Fine by me, I guess," Sasha said.

"Marco, take us to Kelly's world," Marcy said.

"You got it," Marco said, using the scissors to open the portal and made his way inside.

Amity grinned to herself, "I knew she'd go for it."

"Wait, were you two faking?" Anne asked.

"I can't speak for Sasha, but I totally was," Amity said. "I had to make Marcy a little jealous so she'd go with Marco. Hopefully the two of them can get back together."

"Total bullshit, I should have been the one with Marco," Sasha said.

"So you weren't faking then, huh Sasha?" Luz asked.

"Damn right I wasn't, I wanted Marco to myself," Sasha said. "Seriously, it's so weird that out of all of us, Marcy got a boyfriend before any of us."

"Why is that even a competition?" Amity asked. "Marcy's in love with Marco, that's why the two of them got intimate with each other. It seems more like you want a boyfriend for the sake of having one, and to mark off a checklist rather than having someone to love and care for you."

"Hey, if Marco wanted to treat me like a Queen, I would totally let him," Sasha said, whispering out of earshot of the little kids. "He's probably really great in bed too."

"Can we not talk about this, it's weird given our age," Anne said, Sprig and the others trying to listen in.

"Anne, I've said it before, if we're old enough to fight in wars, we're old enough for that," Sasha said.

"And I believe it was Marco who said it was like apples and oranges," Anne said. "We're still kids, lets remember that."

"Okay what is going on?" Sprig asked.

"Nothing, don't worry about it," Amity said.

"You know, we're technically adults anyway, we just have the bodies of kids," Sasha said.

"...You know that raises an interesting point," Luz said. "Are we actually adults? Do those years in the Neverzone count? That would put me at almost my mom's age."

"Same, but the way I see it, we're adults there, but kids out here," Anne said. "I don't feel older than I am, and neither should you."

"Eh, I guess so," Luz said. "I guess it's nothing to worry about anyway."

"Exactly, we're humans, and a witch, the only aging that matters is in our home dimensions," Anne said.

"Which makes it all the weirder that Marcy and Marco did the deed," Sasha said.

"Quiet!" Anne demanded. "No more talk about this, what Marco and Marcy do is their business, not ours."

"I really hate when you talk about this type of stuff and leave us out of the conversation," Polly said.

"You'll understand when you're older," Sasha said. "Well anyway, with Marco and Marcy off doing whatever, where does this leave us?"

"Luz wants to check on the imposter living in her house," Anne said.

"I might know a way to get in close without being spotted," Luz said. "I read about a portal in Phillip Watanabe's book."

"Alright, let's go for it," Anne said.

"Any chance I can come along?" Sprig asked. "Feels like I'm getting left out of adventures lately."

"Have you really?" Sasha asked. "Seems like you're part of the important stuff."

"Well regardless, let's bring Sprig with us," Luz said.

"Sounds great," Anne said, turning to her friend. "Let's go buddy."

"Awesome!" Sprig said, leaping onto Anne's shoulders. "The duo is back!"

"There's like five of us," Sasha pointed out.

"You know what I mean," Sprig said.

"It could be seven," Amity said, turning to Polly and King. "Either of you want to come?"

"No, I'm gonna see what else I can do for Frobo," Polly said, immediately making her leave. "Good luck with your mission."

"I should go with her," King said, following Polly.

"Poor girl, she must really love that robot," Sasha said. "Oh well, let's go on an adventure."

As they left, Star ensured what was left of the robot would be properly disposed of, the girl looking annoyed. "I need a nice, hot shower."

In Woolandia, Marco and Marcy were traversing the lands, the two feeling a bit awkward around each other. Marcy figured she jumped into this too fast, Marco wondered why he didn't open the portal closer to Kelly's house.

"So...nice world, huh?" Marco said.

"Yeah, nice world," Marcy said.

Fortunately it wasn't long before the two had arrived in front of Kelly's house, the latter amazed by what she's seen.

"Wow, this looks kind of cool," Marcy said.

"Sure does," Marco said. "This whole place is fuzzy."

"You haven't been to this world much, have you?" Marcy asked.

"No, it's new territory for me," Marco said, knocking on the door. "Maybe Kelly will show us around later."

"That'd be nice, Marcy said as the door opened.

"Greetings," came the voice of a woolett man. "Who might you two be?"

"Whoa, his hair's covering his body," Marcy said.

"That's normal, Kelly was like that when I first met her," Marco said. "That reminds me, I should take you to see her favorite hot dog vendor, those things are like a wild trip."

"Sounds fun," Marcy said.

Marco turned to the man, holding his hand out. "Hello sir, I'm looking for-"

The man then kicked Marco to the ground, taking Marcy by surprise.

"What the heck, dude!?" Marcy shouted. "You can't just-"

The man grabbed Marcy and judo flipped her over, the girl landing hard on Marco.

"What gives?" Marco asked, then saw a sword aimed at him.

"Stand and fight me!"

Marcy immediately panicked and was about to use her crossbow when she heard a familiar voice. "Dad!"

"Is that Kelly?" Marco asked, turning to see the Woolett girl at the door.

"Oh, hello dear," Kelly's dad said.

"Dad, you need to cool it," Kelly said. "You're freaking Marco and Marcy out. Also get rid of that sword, you're being unintentionally insensitive."

"Heh, sorry, got carried away," Kelly's dad said.

Kelly sighed in annoyance, turning her attention to Marco and Marcy. "Sorry about that, that's just how we Wooletts say 'hello'."

"It's all good," Marco said, the boy helping Marcy up and dusted her off. "You okay Marcy?"

"Yeah, I had a soft landing," Marcy sheepishly said.

"My apologies young ones," Kelly's dad said, extending a hand.

"It's no trouble sir," Marco said, taking his hand. "I'm just glad-"

Kelly's dad slammed Marco again, much to the girl's annoyance, "Dad, cut it out!"

Marcy helped Marco up, glaring at the Woolett man as she helped Marco inside.

"Your dad's a very excitable man," Marco said.

"Yeah, he is, I guess," Kelly said. "So, what brings you two to Woolandia?"

"We're here to see you," Marcy said. "We know you've been in a funk since what happened at the castle."

"You mean where I got my butt kicked along with everyone else?" Kelly asked.

"You're taking this really hard," Marcy said. "Is there a reason?"

"I guess it's just a pride thing," Kelly said.

"Did the betrayal really bother you?" Marco asked. "Andrias fooled us all, not like you could have known. Even Marcy didn't, and she's Andrias's friend. Or she was."

"It's not just that..." Kelly said. "I'm still bummed out about Meteora. I felt so useless in that fight!"

"Useless? You did great," Marco said, finally able to stand with his own strength. "If anyone's to blame for what happened, it's me. Doom-Nut was my plan."

"I appreciate that Marco, but a plan is only as good as the soldiers in the plan," Kelly said. "I couldn't pull it off, all because I let myself get distracted by my annoying ex-boyfriend."

"You mean Tad?" Marco asked.

"Tad? You mean that Woolett in her hair?" Marcy asked.

"That's him, after the battle, he joined this weird self-help group and calls me every five-" Kelly's phone started buzzing. "Son of a..."

She answered and it revealed Tad on a video chat, "Namaste Kelly, I just wanted to let you know how great I've been doing since we broke up. Now that I'm free of negative energy, I'm a provider now."

"Are those birds?" Marcy asked.

"He's turned into a nest," Kelly summarized. "It's weird as crap."

"And he calls you often?" Marcy asked.

"Yes, he calls way too much," Kelly lamented.

"I gotta go, mother bird provides," Tad said, hanging up the call.

"Yeah, yeah, have fun with your damn mother bird," Kelly said, angrily placing her phone away.

"So, is this all that's been bothering you?" Marco asked.

"No, that's not it..." Kelly said, the girl sadly glancing at the boy. "You nearly died during that battle, again! It was bad enough when Meteora stole everyone's life energy. Then Andrias impaling you with that sword. I really thought you were gonna die and I couldn't face you or any of our friends after that."

"That's not your fault, it's mine," Marcy said. "Marco only got hurt because he was trying to save me."

"And I'd do it again in an instant," Marco said. "The only person at fault here is Andrias, I don't want either of you taking the blame."

"Still...I'm sorry I haven't come to see you that often," Kelly said, sheepishly turning away. "I feel kind of ashamed of that."

"Don't be," Marco said. "It wasn't easy for any of us. But I'm still alive, and I'm ready to fight back."

"Plus, I know you have some fight left in you," Marcy said. "You still help Star out, don't you?"

"Yeah, so long as I'm not in the front lines, I can't drag anyone down with my negativity," Kelly said.

"We'll get that fighter spirit back in you soon," Marco said. "How about you and I do a little spar, get you in the mood."

Kelly shook her head, "Not yet, I'm not totally up for it. Besides I have some errands to run. I need to return some books to the library."

"I'll go with you," Marco said.

"Same, it'll be fun," Marcy said.

"Fun? It's the library," Kelly said.

"Yeah, libraries are great! You can read books there," Marcy said. "Reading is a favorite hobby of mine, just like playing video games."

"Maybe while she's there, she can pick up a book," Marco said.

"Oooh, even better," Marcy said.

"Alright, your choice," Kelly said, handing them some fur. "Wear these. Around here it's bad to walk around without your hair down."

"Is it some type of custom?" Marcy asked.

"That and it makes for good padding," Kelly said. "Hurry up."

"On it," Marco said as the red hair covered his body, Marcy doing the same with some dark green hair.

"Cute, it's like Halloween because we're dressing up," Marcy said. "And our matching hair reminds me of Christmas."

"Halloween mixed with Christmas, sounds fun," Marco said.

"Let's go you two," Kelly said, leading them out the house. "See you later mom."

The house turned out to just be Kelly's mother, "Bye sweetie, don't forget the family ancestral sword."

"I won't," Kelly said, to the amazement of Marco and Marcy.

"Were we...inside Kelly's mom?" Marcy asked.

"Yeah, I think so..." Marco said.

"...Glad Sasha's not here, she'd make a dirty joke," Marcy said.

"If Sasha were here, I don't think Kelly's dad would even be alive after picking that fight," Marco said.

"Yeah, that too," Marcy said. "Let's hurry before Kelly leaves us behind."

At the Boonchuy house, Polly was seen looking on Anne's laptop, trying to figure out ways to fix Frobo, but having little luck.

"Well that's two hours of my life I'm not getting back," Polly lamented.

"It wasn't that long," King said.

"Felt like it to me," Polly said, then finding something that caught her eye. "Ooh, this looks promising."

"What does?" King asked.

"IT Gals," Polly read. "Two girlfriends who really love robots."

"So, is it girlfriends like they're dating or that slang term that Sasha uses?" King asked.

"Don't know, don't care, just wanna fix Frobo," Polly said, clicking the video, a panda immediately being shown off.

"Isn't he just adorable?" a girl named Ally asked.

"I just can't with that belly of his," a girl named Jess said as the panda fell over, the image of 'IT'S CUTE' flashing on the screen.

"Just proves that if you have the will and know-how, anyone can make a robot," Ally said.

"And our step-by-step tutorials," Jess said, she and her friend pointing to a playlist.

"Wow, big playlist," King said.

"Remember, if it doesn't compute, it's time to reboot," both girls said, then freaked out when their robot panda caught fire.

"Well, that's all I needed to hear," Polly said.

"Wait, I still don't think this is a good idea," King said.

"Oh what's the worse that can happen?" Polly said, loading up. "Let's get to it!"

Meanwhile at the Boiling Isles, in front of the Owl House, Luz was applying the finishing touches to a portal she was making out of an old door. She was of course joined not only by her volunteer friends, but also Eda, Lilith, Hop Pop, Grime and Hooty.

"Alright, this should be the final touch," Luz said. "So glad that Eda had all the supplies we needed."

"Even the blood of a titan, which seems kind of like a big deal to have," Sasha said.

"It is, if Belos knew how to do this, we'd be pretty fucked right now," Eda said.

"Must you use such strong language in front of these kids?" Hop Pop said. "You're setting a bad example."

"Eh, they're good kids, they know better," Eda said.

Amity glared at Sasha, the girl turning away in annoyance, "Oh shove it."

"The door's ready," Luz said.

"Now, you're confident this isn't going to blow up in our faces, right?" Eda asked.

"Not at all," Luz said.

"Well that's reassuring," Eda sarcastically said as she began to peddle on a makeshift flying tub. "Here goes nothing!"

The kinetic energy transferred to the components that were racked up as a door was formed right before everyone's eyes, much to their amazement.

"Whoa, that's awesome!" Anne said.

"It looks like it's working!" Sasha said.

"It is working," Sprig pointed out. "It's forming a type of door!"

Within seconds, a door had fully formed in front of everyone, Luz opening it to reveal a strange dimension.

"Wow, that's amazing!" Hop Pop said.

"Luz, your magical prowess has increased in an incredible fashion," Lilith said.

"Thanks, but I couldn't have pulled this off alone," Luz said, grabbing a rope and tying it around her waste. "Everyone, do what I'm doing."

"Sure thing," Anne said, doing the same, alongside Amity, Sprig and Sasha.

"Each of us find someone we trust," Luz said, handing her rope to Eda. "Of course I trust pretty much all of you."

"Same," Anne said, handing hers to Hop Pop.

"I hope I can trust my guy," Sprig said, handing his rope to Hooty.

"Don't worry Sprig, I'll make sure Hooty does his job," Eda said.

"You can count on me," Hooty said, immediately dropping the rope.

Eda placed it back in his mouth, "Maybe don't talk for a bit."

Sprig still felt unsure, fortunately Anne was quick to reassure him. "Just stick close to me."

"None of us are going to leave anyone behind, Sprig, you'll be fine," Luz said.

Sasha handed her rope to Grime, "If I tug my rope five times in quick succession, pull me out. Try not to let me die in there."

"I give you my word," Grime said.

Amity handed her rope to Lilith, the woman holding it tightly, "Please be careful."

"I will," Amity said, then turned to the others. "I'm all set."

"If the portal looks like it's going to close, pull us in," Luz said.

"Sure, just be careful in there," Eda said.

"I'm just going to verify something quickly, we won't stay in for long," Luz said.

"Onward!" Anne said as Luz led them all into the portal one by one, the five adults keeping a close eye on things.

"So...what is the point of this again?" Grime asked.

"Luz is worried about her mother, so she's going to use this to see if she can spy on her house from here," Eda said.

"Doesn't she have scissors?" Grime asked. "Can't she just go there?"

"She did, then saw something suspicious," Eda said. "Rather than risk running into a trap, she decided to try out a spell she's always wanted to use which lets her spy safely from a distance. A lot more efficiently than a portal that Star has in her castle."

"So...if we have this...shouldn't we use it to gain enemy intel on Belos and Andrias?" Grime asked.

"Hm...that's a good point," Eda said. "Let Luz use it first though, she should make sure her mother's alright after all."

"I concur," Hop Pop said.

"I hope you're right," Grime said.

In the portal, Luz and her friends were looking around, trying to get a grasp on their surroundings.

"So, how does this work exactly?" Sasha asked.

"Well, I'm not too sure, right now I'm winging it," Luz said, much to Sasha's annoyance.

"Seriously? That's really dumb Luz!" Sasha scolded. "You can't just 'wing' something like this!"

"You would," Anne said.

"This isn't about me, it's about Luz!" Sasha said.

"Don't worry, if anything happens, Eda and the others will pull us to safety," Luz said, a cube suddenly appearing beside her. "Huh?"

"What's that?" Sprig asked.

Luz looked inside the cube, rubbing her chin in curiosity, "I think...this is The Owl House." Suddenly the wind blew the window open, revealing the truth. "This is a reflection! The spell worked!"

"Reflection?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah, in the window," Luz said, pointing. "See, there's Eda, and Lilith, and Hop Pop!"

"You're sure this is gonna work, Eda?" Hop Pop asked. "I'd hate for Luz to be disappointed."

"She's made it this far, we gotta trust her," Eda said. "If this doesn't work, she and her friends will find another way."

In the dimension, Sasha looked very amazed, "That's pretty damn awesome."

"So we can see anyone?" Sprig asked. "Like Anne's parents?"

"Mr. And Mrs. Boonchuy?" Sasha asked as a pair of cubes came up. One was out of a mirror in the kitchen as Oum was seen cutting vegetables.

"Anne better not sleep over without permission again, or she's going to be grounded ten times as long as she was in that Frog World," Oum said.

"Oof, I've got to be careful," Anne said. "What's dad up to?"

Bee was seen playing a game on his PC, "You have no chance at beating me evil boss guy, I'll defeat you even if it takes me all night!"

"Hi Mr. Boonchuy!" Luz said, startling the man and making him fall over. Luz awkwardly put the cube away, turning to a very annoyed Anne. "My mistake."

"It's fine, he'll forget about it," Anne said.

"Let's move on, we can see what everyone else is up to, like Polly," Sasha said, as a cube came up. "Or Tom." Another cube. "Edric and Emira." A pair of cubes. "Even Star!"

One final cube came up, Luz walking over to get rid of it like the others, "Sasha, now's not the time for games, we need to-"

Luz immediately noticed she was in the reflection of the Mewni bathroom as Star walked toward the shower door with a robe on.

"Finally, how shower time," Star said, tossing the robe off, Luz getting a good look at the girl from behind. This view was shared by the other girls present, with Sasha resisting the urge to laugh, Anne nervously looking away, Sprig who backed out of there immediately and Amity shamefully staring hard. "Where's my rubber ducky...ah, there it is."

Star bent over, giving the four girls even more of a view as Luz kicked the cube away, feeling shame and regret, similar to the other girls.

"Wow...talk about bubbly," Sasha said. "And I don't mean the-"

"Don't start!" Luz said, focusing on the task at hand. "We have a mission, let's just get to it. You girls in?"

"Yeah, I'm in," Anne said. "Amity?"

Amity had no immediate response, the image of Star being naked still existing in her mind. "Uh..."

"Amity!" Luz scolded.

"Right, I'm in!" Amity said.

Meanwhile Sprig was bonking his head, "Cast out the image! Cast out the image!"

"Sprig, over here!" Luz said.

"Right, coming," Sprig said, still feeling weirded out. "Man, humans have weird bodies."

"Hey!" the girls unanimously shouted in annoyance.

"No offense," Sprig said.

Luz focused and spoke of what she wanted to say. "Camila Noceda of the Human Realm!"

The cube came up, but unfortunately it was high up, much to the annoyance of the others.

"So, why is this one harder to reach?" Sasha asked.

"I'll get us there," Luz said, slamming a glyph down. "Ice Platform!"

After a few seconds, nothing seemed to happen, much to Luz's annoyance.

"It didn't work," Sasha said.

"Yeah, no kidding," Luz said, stretching a bit. "Let's do this the hard way." Luz leapt and grabbed the cube, bringing it back down and looking into it. "Mom!?"

Looking inside, Luz could see her mother dancing to some music as she grabbed some food through the reflection of her cellphone.

"There she is!" Anne said.

"But where's the other me?" Luz said, taking a quick look around. "Too bad I don't have a name."

"Try Luz," Sasha said.

"I'm Luz, not this imposter," Luz said, taking a look around. "Now where is-"

"Mom, do you need any help?" Came the voice of Luz's doppelgänger.

"I'm fine mija," Camila said. "Did you clean your room?"

"Yes, with all that stuff gone, I feel like a whole different person," the imposter said.

"You..." Luz angrily said. "I'll get you evil clone!"

"She doesn't seem evil," Sprig said.

"She's pretending to be me and tricking my mom, she's definitely evil!" Luz said. "Good people don't steal the lives of others."

"Maybe it's a misunderstanding," Sprig theorized.

"I know what I'm saying, Sprig," Lzu said.

"Should we go after her?" Sasha asked. "We can use the scissors."

"Not yet, let's wait until she's alone," Luz said. "I don't want to freak my mom out."

"I'll be heading to my room now," the imposter said.

"Follow her, uh...follow Luz Noceda 2.0!" Luz said, the cube not working. "Follow the doppelgänger! Ugh, why won't you freaking work!?"

"Luz, chill, you got this," Anne said.

"Yeah, you're right," Luz said. "I just gotta breathe and count to five."

Suddenly the cube took the girls into Luz's room, where they spotted the imposter. It was here that Sasha tugged at her rope and gave Luz a non-verbal signal that she was taking action.

"Wonder what I should do, maybe a game of baseball or something," the imposter said, noticing the real Luz in a mirror in her room.

"YOU!" Luz shouted in fury.

"GAH!" the imposter shouted in return, taking a step back. "Wait, you're...you're..."

"The real Luz Noceda, and you're an imposter!" Luz shouted.

"Wait, are you in the Demon Realm?" the fake Luz asked.

"Luz!?" Came Camilla's voice. "Are you okay, mija?"

"Sí Mama!" Luz said. "I just saw a spoiler for Monster Slayer Academia!"

Camilla was heard sighing in annoyance, "I will never understand anime."

"Now then..." Luz saw that the imposter was leaving. "H-hey! After her!"

The fake Luz jumped out a window and began to run. Suddenly a portal opened beside her, Sasha leaping in front of the girl. "Sup?"

"Huh?" The imposter was grabbed and thrown into a portal, courtesy of Sasha. Out of fear, the imposter turns into a Basilisk of sorts as she took a moment to analyze her surroundings. "Wh-where am I?"

"Amphibia, the woods next to a small town," Sasha said, stepping through the portal. "Looks like you fit right in."

"Who are you? Are you a demon? A witch?" the basilisk asked.

"Neither, I'm human, and you have a lot to answer to," Sasha said, opening another portal to the Boiling Isles. "I found her!" The basilisk tried to escape but Sasha leapt in front of her, aiming both swords. "If you try escaping, it will be the last thing you do. Understand me?"

"I understand, just don't hurt me, please," the basilisk said.

"Just answer some questions, and you'll get to live," Sasha said, gesturing to the oncoming Luz, along with Amity, Anne and Sprig.

"Who are you?" Luz asked. "Why were you pretending to be me?"

"I didn't mean to, I just needed to escape," the basilisk, said ,the girl on the verge of tears.

"Easy there, we won't hurt you, we just want answers," Luz said. "How about telling us your name first."

"Number fi...I mean, Vee," the basilisk said. "I take it you're Camilla's real daughter."

"Okay Vee," Luz said. "Can you explain why you were pretending to be me?"

"I was...I wanted a place to belong to," Vee said, subconsciously turning back into a human/snake hybrid. "You were missing and...well...Camila was so nice that I couldn't help myself."

"You knew she was missing?" Sasha asked. "You're not working for Belos, are you?"

"No way!" Vee said, the girl now teary eyed. "I would never work for someone like that, I'm trying to get away from him and the Demon Realm!"

"Easy there, we get it," Anne said. "Hey, Belos is a creep, and we don't blame you for wanting to run."

"But, impersonating someone is not okay," Amity said.

"You..you're a witch right?" Vee asked.

"I'm Amity Blight, I don't suppose you know me," Amity said.

"Oh yeah, your family's really popular," Vee said. "But, isn't your mom close with Belos?"

"Unfortunately, of course I couldn't care less about Belos," Amity said.

"So...you're not evil, it's just a misunderstanding, is that right?" Sprig asked.

"I swear, that's all there is to it," Vee insisted.

Sprig turned his attention to Luz, "Told ya."

Luz glared briefly at Sprig, then focused back on Vee, "I'm not too happy that you've been tricking my mom, but...given the situation, I suppose I can let this slide."

"Hold on a sec, Luz." Sasha said. "Are you really gonna trust this girl at face value?"

"She doesn't look dangerous," Luz said.

"She's an imposter, she's totally dangerous!" Sasha said. "The fact that she can impersonate you means she's capable of acting. She could be pretending to be helpless for all you know."

"I'm not, you gotta believe me!" Vee pleaded.

"Why should we?" Sasha asked, readying her sword. "I should end you right now."

"Wait!" Vee begged.

"Sasha, wait," Luz said. "Listen, I know she did something bad and yes, she could be faking it, but somehow...I don't think she's a terrible person. I don't think this is a plot with Belos or anything like that."

"You're too kindhearted Luz," Sasha said.

"Maybe, but I want to give her a chance," Luz said. "She's been with my mom this whole time and nothing bad has happened, so maybe she's telling the truth. She just wants to belong somewhere."

"I didn't mean to take your life, it was never my intention," Vee said.

"That's fine...maybe this can work out as well," Luz said. "I can't go home yet, my friends need me to save all of our worlds from Emperor Belos and his ally, King Andrias."

"Andrias?" Vee asked.

"Long story, but this realm is ruled by an evil King, just like the Boiling Isles is," Anne said.

"He used to be so nice too," Sprig said. "Now my world's in just as much danger as yours, Earth and a place called Mewni."

"That's awful," Vee said.

"Now, listen," Luz said. "For now, just keep pretending to be me. I'll come back when I'm done and explain everything to my mom."

"Are you sure?" Vee asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Luz said. "Just try not to take my place too much. Can I trust you?"

"Yeah, but one problem," Vee said, gesturing to her ears. "I need magic to fully transform and I used it all up."

"We can get you patched up in The Owl House," Anne said. "Afterwards, Eda can send you right back to Mrs. Noceda's house."

"Wait, you're really doing this, Luz?" Sasha asked. "It might be a trap."

"It's fine, Sasha," Luz said. "We'll keep an eye on her. We have the Mewman magic."

"Oh yeah, you can ask Star for help on that," Sprig said, a blush appearing on everyone's face.

"R-right, we can do it, or Marco can," Luz said.

"Yeah, Marco, totally," Anne said.

"Who's Star?" Vee asked.

"The acting Queen of Mewni. Star Butt Cheeks, I mean...Butterfly..." Sasha awkwardly cleared her throat. "Star Butterfly is a Queen that's on our side and can help us out. If you're willing to trust her, we can trust you."

"Um, okay," Vee said.

"Just know this," Sasha said, holding up her sword. "Luz is a very nice girl who's doing you a big favor, do not screw this up or I will personally make you regret it."

Vee nervously gulped, "Yeah, got it."

"Enough Sasha, don't traumatize the poor girl," Anne said. "Let's just get her to Eda's place."

"Come with us," Sasha said, leading Vee away.

"I hope Marco and Marcy are doing well," Luz said.

Meanwhile at the Wooandia library, Marco, Marcy and Kelly were seen fighting a librarian and her hair ninjas.

"This seems excessive for an overdue book!" Marcy said, kicking them away. "Normally we just pay a fine!"

"My hair was the fine, Marco's the one who wanted to fight," Kelly said, blocking an attack with her family's sword.

"Don't act like you're not having fun," Marco said, knocking one away with a short sword.

"I guess this is fun, but we should wrap this up," Kelly said. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Wool-Hair-Do?" Marco said..

"Wool what now?" Marcy asked.

Marco jumped into Kelly's hair, the latter punching up a firecracker wielding ninja.

"You punched my butt!"

Marco punched it himself.

"The Top-Knotted Double Fist!"

"Cool," Marcy said, then noticed more coming. "Watch out!"

Marco and Marcy fought away a group of them with a flurry of punches and kicks.

"Legendary Side Bangs Sweep!"

"My turn!" The Librarian went to attack but Marcy leapt in and kicked the elderly woman in the head, stunning her long enough for Marco and Kelly to leap up and hit the librarian with a spinning punch, exploding her into tiny hair ninjas.

"The Twist Out of Destruction!"

"Whoa..." Marcy said. "You two...really fought well, huh?"

"Totally, we were totally in sync! I was amazing!" Kelly said.

"Fighting can be so fun sometimes, especially when you just go nuts with it," Marco said, laughing with Kelly, the two enjoying the moment.

"Wow, that's great, you two are...pretty great," Marcy said, somehow feeling like a third wheel.

"You did great too, especially with that kick," Kelly said. "We should work on three-person team moves next."

"I'd like that," Marco said. "Wouldn't you Marcy?"

"Uh yeah, I'd love that too," Marcy said.

Marco could tell something was bothering her, "Uh, are you-"

Kelly's phone rang again, "Ugh..." She answered to a call from her ex-boyfriend.

"Yo Kelly, it's your ex. I saw a tree and it reminded me of you," Tad said.

"Seriously?" Marcy said.

"If you two broke up, why does he still call you?" Marcy asked.

"For real, you don't have to put up with this, Kelly," Marco said.

"Yeah, I know. Honestly I should block him but...it's hard to just move on when you thought you were in love," Kelly said.

"I know that feeling," Marco said. "When I broke the Blood Moon Curse with Star, I wasn't sure how to feel," Marco gestured to the girl next to him. "And me and Marcy...we...well..."

"You two were dating, right?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah, we split up," Marcy said. "I thought he'd be happier with Star. Now I'm wondering if he'd be happier with you."

"Me?" Kelly asked. "I'm flattered, but you shouldn't think that way. If you like Marco, don't worry about other girls. You're allowed to be a little selfish at times. Your happiness matters too."

"I guess so," Marcy said, glancing at the boy. "Marco...I...I really do like you, I'm just worried I'm making the wrong choice. I don't want to get in the way of destiny or something."

"That's the thing about Destiny, it's not pre-determined like Fate is," Kelly said. "Destiny is what you make of it. Even if Fate says Marco should be with someone else, well fight it. You've got a warrior's spirit Marcy, don't let Fate or tell you what to do, mold your Destiny."

"Just go at your pace, alright?" Marco said.

Marcy nodded her head, "Thanks Marco, you too Kelly."

"Well...we should check in with Luz, hopefully she's had some luck," Marco said.

"Oh totally," Marcy said. "I bet she dealt with that imposter of hers."

"Imposter? Luz?" Kelly asked.

"Long story," Marcy said. "Let's hurry now."

"You know, it's funny, I always learn something new at the library," Marco said.

"Ha, so hopeless," Kelly said.

"Hopeless is my middle name," Marco said.

"I thought it was Ubaldo?" Kelly asked.

"He's joking," Marcy said.

"It's not, Ubaldo is Spanish for Hopeless," Marco said.

"You're pulling my leg," Marcy said.

"Yeah," Marco awkwardly admitted. "I don't really know Spanish, so..."

"Now that I remember," Marcy teased. "You know, after Luz, I kind of want to check up on Polly."

"I'm sure she's fine," Marco said.

Meanwhile on Earth.

"Polly wait, do not turn that on in your house!" Ally urged.

"We can get you a rental space," Jess said. "It will take a couple of weeks but-"

"Too long, see ya," Polly said, turning off the computer, to the worry of the IT girls.

"She's gonna turn that on, isn't she?" Ally asked.

"Yeah, she is," Jess said.

At the Boonchuy garage, Polly activated the machine. "Let's get this going!"

"Wait, I don't think we should-" King attempted to plead but it was for naught as Polly turned him on.

"Several hours in, but I got this," Bee said, playing his PC. "Soon this boss will finally be-" The outage caused a blackout, much to his annoyance. "NO!"

King kept Polly shielded as Frobo short circuited and flew off into the distance, worrying the tadpole.

"King?" Polly said.

"Yes, Polly?" King asked.

Polly teared up a bit, "I should have waited, shouldn't I?"

King gently rubbed the girl's head, doing her best to calm her down. "You did this out of love, it makes us do weird things. Don't worry, we'll get Frobo back."

"I hope so," Polly said, wiping her eyes.

King brought the girl in for a hug, doing her best to calm her down. "We'll let Luz, Anne and the others know. They might be mad though, but we'll get past it."

Downtown, while Hunter is chatting with Jackie and Chloe, he saw Frobo flying by, earning his curiosity.

"I gotta go for a second, work related," Hunter said, making his leave. "Be right back!"

"That's cool dude!" Jackie said, then turned to Chloe. "He's really into his work, huh?"

"Oui, it's admirable," Chloe said.

Hunter went to find Cloak-Bot, who fortunately wasn't far away, "You saw that too, right?"

"Affirmative," Cloak-Bot said.

Hunter gestured Cloak-Bot with him. "Come on, let's check this out."

The two went to figure the situation out as a new problem had arisen.
