Chapter 19: New Girl
"I guess it won't be the same as before," Hiyama murmurs, raising one of his hands to look at it.
"Indeed, it's happening," he thinks, slightly tilting his head to look at one of the girls behind him, then simply raising one of his hands in her direction.
"Huh?" Tia, who was swaying her body from side to side, thinking about various things, is taken by surprise. A slightly trembling hand touches her shoulder, causing her to let out a slight squeal.
"Tia... I love you. Would you like to marry me?" A voice that tried to sound pleasant reached her ears. She quickly turned her head to see who it was, her eyes meeting Hiyama's, and her "What the hell?" expression was immediate.
Stunned, Tia watches with a surprised look on her face as the boy she met a few weeks ago begins to approach her. She narrows her eyes, purses her lips, and unconsciously a blush appears on her cheeks.
"Stop right there!" Gagaran intervenes, stopping Hiyama's advance with one of his giant hands.
"What the hell are you doing?" the girl who looks like a man demands, apparently annoyed. However, Hiyama simply smiles, "You girls looked pretty down, so I just did it. Come on girls, the life is beautiful," Hiyama points at them.
"You could smile a little more, after all, we're alive..." he says, the intention in his words, his voice, his serious face, his upright and elegant posture causing the girls to open their eyes in surprise.
A moment later, Evileye smiles, "It's true, we're... alive, alive thanks to you, Sir Hiyama, thank you for that," she smiles under her mask, Lakyus, Gagaran, and Tina also smile.
"So, what was all that about?" Tia changes the subject, her eyes focused on Hiyama.
"Hhmph," Hiyama makes a low noise before turning back to walking, "Who is this Deathbringer? What kind of magic do you use?, Hiyama..." Tia said and begins to chase after Hiyama, "Hiyama!!!"
...
"Huh?" Matt opens his eyes, a little annoyed clenching his fists. "Who dares to interrupt my rest?" he mutters before getting up from his bed and heading to the window. He raises the blind, opens the window, his mouth about to unleash profanities at whoever is shouting outside at this hour.
"Isn't that Hiyama?" Matt mutters, leaning against the window and watching not far away as Hiyama begins to dodge a rather pretty girl. "Hmph," his mouth makes a sound that is difficult to understand before he smiles.
A few hours later...
The sound of a bell announces the arrival of a new customer at Matt's store, so he raises his head from behind the counter, clears his throat, and before he can say anything, the customer interrupts him.
"Sir Matt..." the delicate voice of the girl who has just entered the store is heard. She lowers her head as a blush covers her face, taking a few steps forward as her body trembles.
"Huh?" Matt's soft whisper reveals his confusion. "Dude, Why are you lowering your head?" he says, somewhat confused. "Why do you have that knife in your hands? Why are you starting to run?" Matt spits out several questions before stepping away from the counter.
"Hmph..." Matt quickly moved away from the counter, at the same time, the shy girl who seemed incapable of killing even a fly crashed into the counter, her hands raised and pushing a kitchen knife forward.
*Thud*
The girl's body collided with the hard counter, her powerful charge not even able to move the seemingly fragile counter an inch.
"Ghgg," the girl spat out some saliva as she felt her stomach hit a sharp corner. She grimaced, which only made her look cuter, before some blood began to come out of her mouth.
"Ah? Shit," Matt cursed before the Sword of Darkness group quickly entered the store.
Led by Peter, the group of adventurers rushed to stop the girl who was still suffering in silence.
*Thud*
*Thud*
Dyne immobilized the girl by knocking her to the ground and tying her hands with a rope. Peter helped by tying her legs, and Lukrut looked at Matt, searching for any injuries on his boss.
"Damn," Peter sighs after immobilizing the girl. He stands up before looking at Matt, his eyes brimming with curiosity and concern. "Sir Matt, Why does this girl want to kill you?" He gets to the point after seeing that Matt is unharmed.
Matt's rapidly beating heart began to calm down. He swallowed hard, his heavy breathing betraying his fear. "Peter! You let this crazy woman into the store!" He pointed an accusing finger at the leader of Sword of Darkness.
"Do you know what would have happened if this crazy woman had hurt me? I, I..." Matt swallowed, his eyes slightly red. "This crazy woman almost took my pathetic little life..." he muttered angrily.
"I'm sorry," Peter apologized as he lowered his head, but before he could continue, the girl opened her mouth. "You, you, you, You damn son of a bitch!!!" she shouted, but her body made no effort to break free.
"Dyne, lift her up, let's see what she has to say before we send her to the knights of the kingdom," Lukrut says as he puts on white gloves. Seeing Lukrut's actions, Peter swallows hard.
The girl has yellow hair with bangs in front and a ponytail in back, beautiful flawless skin, pink lips, and a white dress that looks aristocratic.
The girl's blue eyes stare at Matt with anger. "You insolent little trash!" she yells. Matt, for his part, can't help but smile. "Hey, little girl, so young and so foul-mouthed, Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" he jokes before leaning against the counter.
"Weren't you scared a moment ago?" Peter thinks as he looks at Matt with some annoyance.
"Give me back my power! Give me back my dungeon!" the girl began to scream, her blue eyes filled with righteous indignation.
However.
*Smack*
Matt moved closer to the counter, reached out one of his hands, and slapped the girl. "Darling, either you calm down or I'll calm you down," Matt said after slapping the girl, but his smile betrayed his serious face.
"You inhuman trash! You're not a man! You're a beast!" the girl continued to scream.
*Smack*
After receiving another slap from Matt, the girl seemed to calm down a little, but she clenched her teeth again, "Give me back my...!!"
*Smack*
Before the girl could finish speaking, Matt slapped her again, and everyone in the store looked at Matt with solemn eyes.
Peter, not far away, smiled slightly. "A man must know how to bend and stretch," he muttered, nodding his head in approval. However, Lukrut, who seemed to have some unhealthy inclinations, just looked at Matt with envy.
Dyne, for his part, simply grabbed the girl so she wouldn't fall.
"Hmph," the girl made a slight noise, her pretty face full of indignation making a grimace with her cheeks puffed out, "Beast..." she murmurs before sighing.
How dare the ugly guy in front of her hit her? "If only Dad were here, he would send this guy to the dungeon," she thinks before kicking the ground in anger.
"I..." she pauses, "Well, ahem... My name is Miledi Reisen, I'm here to ask you to return my dungeon, return my power..." Miledi narrows her eyes before whispering, "Please."
"Huh?" Matt narrows his eyes, licking his lips as his eyes compete with Miledi's, then a cheeky smile appears on his face.
"What did I do? Lady Reisen, I don't know you, and besides, as you can see, I've always lived in Re-estize, so..." he says before raising a hand to mischievously pinch Miledi's nose.
"Go home, stop talking nonsense in my store, your parents must be worried," Matt murmurs, Miledi's soft moans echoing through the room as he presses that beautiful nose.
There was a brief moment when Matt simply continued to pinch Miledi's nose, just before calming down and lowering his hand. She, for her part, clenched her teeth in anger.
"Damn pervert," Miledi murmurs before trying to use her characteristic gravity magic, but it has no effect. After all, she has now become an ordinary person.
She lowers her head, her eyes shining, her face flushed, and her feelings, until a moment ago suppressed by her positive attitude, come to the surface.
*Sob*
She lets out a small sob, remembering what she had gone through up to this point.
From complete indifference to life until her eyes met Oscar Orcus's, he had been a complete mystery at the time, someone condemned to death, he had an ordinary, even unpleasant appearance, but he ignited the flames of her heart at that moment.
He illuminated a world full of darkness and rules where Miledi's soul lived, the soft tones of his voice brought rainbow colors, and since then she had come back to life.
