MULTIVERSE: Dimensional Magic Store

Chapter 18: Levi's Movement

"Tsk!" The Forgotten One murmurs, ready to tear the orc in front of him to pieces, but before this happens, the annoying orc simply disappears, as if he were a holographic projection that slowly faded away. He vanished, his axe flashed a couple of times and also disappeared.

The Forgotten One's eyes close and open a couple of times, his tentacles retract, and his body returns to being an almost uniform, pulsating mass.

"Is he dead? Huh, that doesn't seem to be the case," he finally murmurs, a strange color passing through his giant eyes as he closes all four of them completely, "I must report the resurrection of one of the Plague's lackeys," he finally says..

A few minutes later outside the dungeon.

Kel'thuzad appears outside the dungeon, in the cave where the green spiral was spinning.

"I managed to get out. I knew that shit couldn't chase me," Kel'thuzad pats his chest as he lets out a slight sigh. "We shouldn't come back here, at least for now," he murmurs before returning to Hiyama's consciousness.

Hiyama falls to his knees, his eyes close, his breathing becomes too soft, and his body seems to have experienced a great battle.

"What is this?" Hiyama blinks, a moment later he stands up quickly, his head moving from side to side, trying to find The Forgotten One.

"I..." he can't understand it for a moment, he just blink several times, his confused mind analyzes what happened, and after a moment he understand everything, "Kel'thuzad did it," he sighed with joy.

Hiyama collapses near the cave wall, sits down and leans against it, looks at the palms of his hands, looks at his body, his legs, his torso, and finally looks at his reflection in a smooth rock not far away.

What had happened?

The Forgotten One's "Madness" ability is not just any ability; it is a magic that enters the deepest thoughts of each person, tormenting them with their worst fears.

Finally, despite being saved by Kel'thuzad, Hiyama cannot forget what he saw in his mind during the few seconds he was affected by that magic.

An infinite void, a planet the size of a house, and him sitting on that planet, cold, shivering constantly, wandering through the universe. Dozens or hundreds of years could pass, sometimes thousands, before he saw an anomaly in a universe that was slowly dying.

He could be there, alone, observing the cosmos in the distance, observing his body, his arms, his legs, his torso, and simply hugging his body, all in a vain attempt to retain a little warmth.

He thought that would be his fate, to wander through eternity feeling a cold that froze him to the bone, a cold that was unable to kill him, but could torment him, and then his mind began to collapse.

Remembering that, Hiyama couldn't help but shed a few tears, light sobs filling the cave, covering his face with his hands as he curled up, sitting, hugging his legs, his head bowed, just as he had been in that illusion.

At that moment, Hiyama simply stayed there, sobbing alone in a cold cave.

In Paradis.

"You're crazy, you bastard!!!" the man in elegant clothes shouted. A moment later, he made a strange noise with his mouth, and a lot of blood came out of his throat, staining his lips and leaving him with a taste of iron.

The man, with a sword stuck in his right lung, groaned, raised his head, and stared fiercely at the young man in front of him. The man is the current king of Paradis, King Fritz.

"You're going to condemn all of Paradis!" Fritz exclaimed, clenching his fists, frowning, and wanting to kill the young man in front of him.

"Huh? Paradis? Hahaha, The titans? Hahaha, they're insignificant to me right now," the young man, Levi, sneered as he slowly turned the sword in his hand.

Feeling the blade of the sword slowly widening the wound in his chest, Fritz began to scream in pain, moving his body desperately.

A moment later, Levi simply ended King Fritz's life.

It had been some time since a wave of Titans appeared to attack Paradis. At first, Levi thought the same as Erwin; he wanted to keep a low profile and protect the people of Paradis.

But the power he gained turned out to be overwhelming. Using Shigan was enough to take down the Titans one by one, and even a special Titan that suddenly appeared was easily defeated by him.

Levi had felt it: power, strength, invincibility. Using the Six Marine Styles together with the three forms of Haki made him too powerful, but not only that, the more he moved, the more he felt his strength increasing.

Levi watched as King Fritz's life faded away, his eyes cold. He moved his right hand to shake the blood off his sword before blinking a couple of times. "For Paradis," he murmured before kicking Fritz's head with some anger.

Levi walked over to a nearby window, stood close to it, and looked out from the king's palace at the nobility, the wealth, the servants, the people, and then the great wall surrounding the interior of Paradis.

Here inside the Sina Wall, Levi can see the opulence, a contrast to the outside world full of suffering.

His hands, covered by two black gloves, form two fists, his hair waving slightly in the wind, all while his gaze focuses on the distance. As this happens, the figure of Matt crosses his mind.

"Perhaps Sir Matt is suited to rule Paradis," he thinks, unaware that he was influenced by the item Matt sold him.

"Levi," a voice behind the boy in front of the window echoes through the room. It is a voice familiar to Levi. His old captain and friend, Erwin, has arrived. He slowly turns his body to look at the blond man not far from him.

Levi observed Erwin's confused face, his evasive gaze, his rigid body, and also how that face began to show some anger. "You know what will happen now that you have killed the king!" Erwin clenches his fists in rage.

"Yes," Levi smiles, raising his head slightly, "Paradis will be free." He looks at the ceiling, his voice full of emotion, greed, and above all, a particular ambition.

Erwin, still furious, suppresses his urge to hit Levi. He had thought that after their conversation last night, the boy he trained would suppress his desire to kill the king and rule Paradis.

"Well... What will you do now?" Erwin lets out a tired sigh, lowers his head slightly to crack his neck, and swallows with some difficulty.

"Me? Hehehe, I've learned a lot during my life. Now, I just need to establish my dominion over Paradis," Levi says, slightly excited. "Let's just kill those who oppose us," he finishes, with a solemn face.

"Sometimes I can't believe you're still the kid I trained," Erwin says, shaking his head slightly, a hint of nostalgia showing.

Levi's body is tinged with black, characteristic of Armament Haki. "I've seen another world, Erwin," he murmurs, "One where a man is capable of maintaining peace or war, a world where one does not depend on teamwork itself, but rather on one's own strength."

There was a brief moment of silence. Erwin looks at Levi in confusion. Why has this boy changed after receiving those powers?

"Although my strength has increased, I am an ant compared to the men I saw in that illusion," Levi narrows his eyes. "But if I am able to gain as much strength as them, the Titans will be nothing more than trash..." he finishes.

After all, he had noticed it some time ago. His body had changed to adapt to skills such as the Six Marine Styles or the Three Types of Haki. Levi's body had changed to one similar to that of One Piece.

Levi noticed how training could increase his strength or agility, something he thought had reached its limit.

"I see, this is your decision," Erwin rolled his tongue a couple of times before sighing. In fact, he didn't want to admit it, but deep down in his heart, he was happy. He had wanted to kill Fritz for a long time.

Meanwhile, not far from the outskirts of the Rose Wall,

Mikasa toyed with the ball of lightning in her right hand, looking at the small ball of lightning with a smile before throwing it at a log.

*Crash*

There was a loud burst of thunder, and the log was burned to charcoal.

"Hehehe," Mikasa laughed softly. Eren behind her watched with envy at that ability, but at the same time, he couldn't help but be happy for Mikasa.

"I... wanted to get it, you know," Eren sighed in annoyance, "Get one of Sir Matt's items, but, well, nothing caught my eye," he sighed in disappointment.

For Eren, it was like being in a store with simple things he didn't want. His mind was lost in the vast collection of items, unable to decide on one despite the motivation in his heart.

"Hehehe," Mikasa smiles flirtatiously as she approaches Eren to hug him, "Why do you want to be powerful? Isn't it okay for me to protect you?" A smile forms on Mikasa's face; after all, it feels good to protect the person you love.

"Hmph..." Eren tries to break free, but it's impossible. He simply sighs, his heart filled with slight resentment towards Matt, but, "Nice," he murmurs, unable to help feeling a tingling sensation in his body after Mikasa hugs him.

"It's been a while since we were alone," Mikasa hugs the boy in front of her tighter, her eyes slightly clouded, her mind a little tired, "Would you like to do something with me now?".

A few days later in Re-estize.

It is dawn, and the cold wind blows with some intensity on Hiyama as he walks through the streets. Not far from him, five girls walk with somewhat subdued expressions.
