Mr. & Mrs. Saison-Monsour: The Mafia & The Slayer Married Life

Chapter 26: Pt.4: 25: The Presley Siblings

"Gennie Gastro, aka Greedy Queen, I'm here to collect your debt." Rose Slayer softly taunted as she dragged a vintage sword from the display inside a woman's bedroom.

"W-what d-debt?" Frightened, Gennie Gastro has been crying from the pain that she surprisingly received from a killer.

"A debt you owe from a dead general, and she's been eager to meet you in the afterlife." Again, Rose Slayer taunted with her sinister chuckle, causing the woman to crawl to the corner of her bedroom, trying to survive, yet she knew she wouldn't.

"No, please…don't kill me…" she pleaded as her beautiful face was now long gone due to the bruises and deep cuts from different types of blades as she cowered in the corner of her bedroom.

"Sorry, once the general decided to collect debt, there's no hesitation." She softly whispered, and with one killing slash, Gennie Gastro was beheaded. "Welcome to your deathbed."

Gennie Gastro, known as a G. Dealer and a gang boss got entangled with the wrong corrupted officials with a promise of being unharmed if she would do something on their behalf. She collects people who will play her game in exchange for money and safety to kill a general, but due to her wrong entanglement, at present, she faces a death sentence.

"Now, it's time to pay them a visit," Rose Slayer thought as she opened the bedroom window before tiptoeing out the door like she was not even there to commit another crime.

On the other hand, when Rose Slayer decided to pay a visit, there was a certain household where a Tiger Gang dwells and is led by the Presley Siblings. But their night wasn't filled with calmness; instead, it was filled with ruckus. It echoed throughout the corridor as a furious gang leader madly shouted at their men for something that got stolen from them.

"DID YOU FIND WHO STOLE IT?!"

"N-no, B-boss."

"STUPID, I'LL KILL YOU ALL."

"My, my, calm down, my dear brother. You and your men find who's responsible for this mess and bring that person dead or alive."

"Yes, Boss Les."

"And as for you, Prince, you don't need to be harsh on them."

"But sis, they're being stupid. They had only one job, and that was to guard MG Boss wanted to be secure, and we failed on that part because of their stupidity. And once that Dragon Mirror gang hears about it, they'll use it against us, against MG Boss."

"I know, but don't worry about that gang for a moment and just focus on retrieving that package, or MG Boss will punish us."

"That's why I'm at the edge."

"Hm, who is MG Boss?" With a sinister curiosity, Rose Slayer finally revealed herself as she leaned comfortably against the window frame.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Prince Presley, the leader of the Tiger Gang, shouted while aiming a gun in her direction.

"Nobody but a hunting ghost." She raised her hands playfully as she entered their office, glancing around curiously.

"ANSWER ME, BITCH!" Prince shouted, demanding a response, but Rose Slayer continued to scan the office, clearly amused.

"ENOUGH, BROTHER!" Leslie Presley, the second-in-command of the Tiger Gang, shouted at her brother while she carefully observed Rose Slayer's movements around the office.

"What? Why?" Prince wondered as his gun aimed at an uninvited stranger in their office.

"Don't move. She's a walking death—a killer. I can smell it from here," Leslie firmly told her brother before turning her attention to the strange woman. "What do you want from us?"

"Never change. Remain cleverly cautious, just as the general molded you to be." Rose Slayer chuckled in amusement before pausing her inspection and leaning against the edge of the desk.

"General?" Leslie mumbled as she carefully studied the woman from head to toe. She sensed familiarity but couldn't identify the person behind the dark mask.

"There's only one general we know and follow, but she died in the last war," Prince replied firmly as he lowered the gun, sensing no threat from the stranger.

"It's due to your involvement with someone you shouldn't trust." Amused, she mocked the siblings, provoking Prince's first outburst.

"WE HAVE NO CHOICE! Our family has been taken hostage, and Leslie has been seriously injured. Our only involvement was to track the general's location in exchange for the release of our family and assistance for Leslie." In his anger over his past foolish decision, Prince cried out in guilt, prompting his sister to feel pity for him as she gently patted his back.

"Who instructed you, then?" Despite knowing the truth, Rose Slayer still wanted to hear it spoken aloud.

"Who else? The one we kept fighting against. She was greedy and constantly sought to expand her territory where she had no right to be." With a seething anger directed at a particular woman, Prince spat with venom, causing Rose Slayer to laugh maniacally.

"Oh, pardon me. It's perfect. Gennie Gastro is on the list. Well, let me rephrase that, there's no Gennie Gastro anymore." With a controlled laugh, she cleared her throat to suppress her amusement. Prince looked confused, but Leslie did not.

"You killed her." Leslie didn't just suspect it; she knew. She felt it.

"I've just collected a debt on the general's behalf." She nodded and respectfully bowed to them.

"So, we're going to die then," Prince guessed, causing Rose Slayer to stretch her body.

"Not exactly, I know your true involvement with the General." She answered, making Prince frown.

"Our truth…don't tell me…" With wide eyes, Leslie guessed, but Rose Slayer appeared in front of her with fingertips on her lips, preventing her from speaking more.

"Ssshhh, speak to Beta Din. I hope you make the right choice this time because life is on the line." Taunting, she softly said before walking through the window, and with one glance from her shoulder, she bid her farewell. "See you around, Presley Siblings."

"Is she…" Prince trailed off, and Leslie nodded.

"Yes, Prince. This is going to change everything." Leslie replied gratefully while patting her brother's shoulder before closing their office window.

"Let's call Beta Din. Hope it's true." Grinning, Prince quickly made a phone call to clarify something.

But as soon as Rose Slayer returned to her usual life and arrived home late, coldness welcomed Skylar. She sighed, thinking Vincencio was already in their bed, but she was wrong. He was sitting on the living space's couch, legs crossed and phone in his hand, while his eyes held worry and coldness.

"That explains the cold air around the house as soon as I entered," Skylar thought as she was caught getting home late. "Still awake, Hubby?"

"And I see you're late." Coldly, Vincencio rebutted.

"I texted you," she defended as she removed her coat and dark eyeglasses.

"You did, but you forgot to mention whether you're staying at the office or running late." With a sigh, he reminded his wife what she forgot to mention in her message.

"Oh, that. You're so stupid, Sky. How can you forget a small detail?" She thought before she apologized for what she had forgotten. "Oh, my bad. Sorry."

"Next time, inform me. I don't want you to get entangled with anyone that could harm you." With a sigh, he reminded his wife about what worried him.

"You know that I can't promise anything, but I'll try. So, forgive me." Amusingly in love, Skylar wrapped her arms around him and pecked his lips as she apologized.

"Be grateful I love you with my whole heart." He smiled as he admitted how great his love for her was.

"He loves me that much despite the secrets we both carry. I'm so lucky I married this man," Skylar lovingly thought before she chuckled and kissed his lips again. "I am."

"Good. So, have you eaten?" He wondered.

"I just had a granola bar before I left the office," she admitted, and, like on cue, her stomach complained. They both chuckled while Skylar was filled with embarrassment.

"Then let's prepare you a light meal." Vincencio pecked her temple.

"Yay! I'll go freshen up." Like a kid, Skylar jumped off from hugging her husband and hurried upstairs before immediately stopping like she forgot something.

"What?" he wondered as he saw his wife running back to him.

"I forgot this." She grinned and deeply kissed his lips again before dashing upstairs while shouting. "Thank you, Hubby. Love you."

"Love you too." Amused, Vincencio softly whispered while shaking his head and walked to the kitchen to prepare a late but light meal for his wife.

When Skylar waltzed at her workplace this morning, the workaholic CEO began to flow. She didn't have her usual morning routine before working since her desk was overflowing with files. Medina might come in and out of her office to update and check on Skylar, but she was swamped and had no time to breathe.

"Sky, breathe. Take a break," Medina worriedly suggested, but Skylar wouldn't listen and kept buried in the files on her desk.

"Med, I'm swamped and need to wrap this up so I can go out with Vince tomorrow." Skylar coldly responded with her reason for being so caught up with work.

"Then I'll call him." With a grin, Medina quickly decided and called Vincencio. "SOS."

"NO!" With a deathly glare, Skylar shouted.

"Sorry, too late." Medina chuckled when a knock echoed behind the door.

"MEDINA!" Being grumpy, Skylar shouted, but Medina just chuckled and opened the door.

"I love you too, Boss." She responded, and the next thing that flew toward her was a sharpener that Vincencio quickly grabbed before it hit Medina.

"Wifey, calm down," with a sigh, Vincencio said.

"How did you get that?" Medina wondered.

"Reflexes. It has been routine in the house whenever she's grumpy in the morning." He smiled as he explained.

"Hubby…" With a pout, Skylar whined.

"I leave her in your care." Medina patted Vincencio's shoulder and left the couple in their world.

"Calm down and come here," Vincencio softly said as he sat on the couch, but seeing Skylar wasn't moving, he firmly demanded, "Now. Please."

"Fine." Like a stubborn kid, Skylar stomped her feet as she walked toward the couch, but as soon as Vincencio pulled her, she quickly snuggled in his arms, relaxing. "I hate you."

"I know, just rest." Vincencio chuckled as he let his wife rest in his arms, and just a few seconds later, Skylar became heavy and snoring. "Cute. But don't worry. I'll help you with this. Rest well, Wifey."

Vincencio allowed his wife to sleep on the couch for a few hours before Skylar awoke. Skylar looked around and, once fully awake, heard what Vincencio said to Medina.

"Med, kindly check these two files first before sending them to the finance director, and this one, confirm to the design department head if they could handle this project since the deadline is in three months from now."

"Noted, and here is an appointment meeting from SaiRus Corps. You need to respond while she's sleeping."

"It's for the prototype meeting. What does her schedule look like next week Friday?"

"She's only had one meeting with our hotel beach view branch for updates."

"Okay, for the rest of her day on Friday, keep it only two meetings, one for our hotel and later with the SaiRus Corps."

"Are we doing the prototype meeting on the beach or here?"

"Hm, let's suggest it first to the SaiRus Corps; if they agree, then we're doing that, but if not, we'll do it here, and it should be in the morning."

"Okay, that's more convenient. I'll let them know, and before I forget, that asshole is waiting in the lobby for another meeting."

"Is he on the appointment list?"

"Annoyingly, yes. Should I bring him in or wait for Sky to wake up?"

"She's awake and has been listening to us. Anyway, bring him into a seminar room. I think he'll be presenting his ideal for his resort." Grinning, Vincencio responded, making Medina chuckle and excuse herself before Vincencio focused on his wife. "Wifey, want something to eat? I'll reheat your potato salad and burger steak."

"How did he know that I'm awake already? He had great senses," Skylar thought while yawning before answering. "Well, I need food and a good job, Hubby, from managing them."

"I told you before to call me whenever you needed help." He reheated his wife's late lunch before sitting beside her.

"Sorry, I kind of forget it whenever I'm swamped." She apologized as she quickly snuggled and pecked his neck before eating. Vincencio shivered at the gesture but immediately ignored it.

"I understand." He smiled amusingly.
