Chapter 4

Then the stupid me ,I trusted her . Our friendship was so nice that we told each other out secrets and gave me confidence . I didn't have any secret to tell . I just told her the reason why people didn't like me . I even showed my diary where I wrote my how I felt ,my good days and my worst days . I didn't show her the whole thing yet because I didn't want to let her in after all people come and go .

But I didn't know that letting her take a peek inside my diary ,she would want more . Not more for her self to know and keep it to her self , but to let everyone know all my secrets . Well the whole community of Raven's Peak know that on the day I was born dad was stricken down by lightning and Mom died so they kept saying that I am the cursed one since on my birth day happened many hurtful things.I was born during rain fall , not that peaceful rainfall with little sun shine spread it's light and warmth. A rainfall with thunderstorms , horrible lightning . So they said that I'll spread curse to their kids so that horrible things can happen to them and therefore told their kids to not befriend me .

So since I gained the "Cursed One" name . I gained another one "the Unwanted One" because of my stupidity of writing that in my diary ,but it was how I felt . I felt that God did not want me that's why God did take my parents , other kids did not want to play with me and bullied me , their parents just watched and did not stop them . So I felt unlucky and unwanted . So I wrote that I am thee Unwanted One inside my diary .

Stephanie took my diary without me knowing , copied everything that I wrote and gave everyone photocopies pages to read and have fun . That day she was standing with Stacy and Julia . I already knew that she betrayed me what is worse she readed the whole page about the way I felt unwanted in front of anyone , and then she told me our friendship was prank and how could she befriend someone like me .That was three years back , and I learned my lesson . There are no real friends, friendship does not exist , what exists is peoples cruel hearts to use you in order to entertain themselves. So do I really miss her , no .

I stopped watering that flower and went back inside to do my homeworks.

It has been seventeen years since taking care of Golderine . Add this year then it will be the eighteenth year. Only a month and a half then this child will reach 18 years. That child is a tough nut to crack . Maybe it is the way I raised her. I raised her to be strong and hide her weakness .But I should have known that she is not one of my subordinates .After all I've live for two thousand , five hundred and ninety one years .Pecks of being immortal and Warrior Queen.

After all back in Aethoria I am a general to fourty thousand soldiers. I am called many names there from General to Leader of Legion but I prefer Warrior Queen. It is fierce and makes men look away when they see me.

Thinking about this I miss Aethoria , My home . A land of shimmering skies, iridescent forests, and luminous waters where the are many creatures Faries to Emberwyrm and humans who have magical ability .

Arcanists (Magic Wielders)

Chronokeepers (Time Manipulators)

Chronokeepers are humans who have mastered the art of time manipulation, allowing them to bend the fabric of reality. They can slow down or speed up time, see into the past or future, and even loop time to relive moments.

Dreamseers (Psychic Intuitives)

Dreamseers are humans who possess a deep understanding of the subconscious mind, allowing them to tap into the thoughts and emotions of others. They can read minds, predict future events, and even influence the dreams of others.

In Aethoria they are many Creatures with different magical powers . They inherit their magical abilities through their parents ,for example if a father can control fire and mother can control water, the child might have both magical abilities or only one . They can control magical ability that are comes from nature and others are what we call blessings.

Ice magic - can create and control ice

Fire magic - can create and control fire

Water magic - can create and control water

Air magic - can create and control Air

Earth magic - can create or control soil, create mountains.

Space magic - control space around them ,can freeze everything and everyone . Can make time stop but one must be aware of the troubles after.

Plants magic - can create every plant from grass to a tree and control it's growth. They can even create poisonous plants. Creatures that have plans magic they are rare because if they are found they are used to create very rare plants even the ones that went to instinct or the ones that never exit , because of other power hungry creatures such as fairies and humans, they ran for their lives and disappeared.

Within those powers we also have creatures that have different powers from Healing, Invisibility and those who can increase magic level. There so many different magical abilities.

What amazes me is those who have Lust, Love and Erotic powers. Their beauty and body shapes stand out . Even if they did not activate their magical abilities they can capture you by directly looking at their eyes.And if you are not careful you will find your self in love, or in the bed with your legs opened wife. They can also create potions, from love potion to lust potion. They can also course you to never fall in love or enjoy sexual pleasures and might poison you . Their poison is not something that one can handle you might die happy, too happy.

So this sisters child ,my child Golderine.She surely going to ask questions when she reaches eighteen years old because her powers will be activated and the will be more people looking for her in other to absorb her powers since they are not fully hers ,they will be fully hers during full moon . And that Moonflower is linked to her life only when she activates her powers , the flower will bloom after all it is her crown. Only then when she reaches that age I'll tell her lot of things .

And I'll have to protect her for seven days for her to be what she was meant to be . If I fail she will die with no chance of being reborn . It is pity my sister Aurora Redmond and brother in law Aesen Grande are not here to see their daughter grow up , They would be proud if they saw how strong she is and actually see her school grades , Scarlet always passes never fails. They would be truly happy.

Speaking of that I think that I'll have to visit Stephanie or should I say Steph. I hate a person that makes my Niece sad .

I walked out of shower and wore comfy clothes and went to my office ,well my brother in law office. I took out my phone and called one of my trusted subordinates Lucien.

"It has been long time since you've called ,I even forgot that you exist , are you doing well? do you need me ? Can I also come ? Yo know I felt sad when you left without saying goodbye." Lucien said those words fast with a low voice.

Lucien is one of my trusted subordinates , I took him from the streets when he was young , by the age of seven years old and raised him up since then he has been loyal to me .He is really powerful and he can control water and plants . I told him to hide his plants magic ability because all of the rich crazy royals and people will come for him and use him until he himself decides to kill himself or chop of both of his arms so that he could no longer able to use his powers.

"Hello Lucy , are you well ? I'm still doing fine . Judging by your voice and the speed of the way you answered my call ,not to mention you speaked fast as if you are pouring your whole heart out. Do you miss me?" I said that smirking.

"No I don't miss you big sister Mariam , after all you left me . After begging not to leave me , you know I wanted to experience human world and get few ideas and I also wanted to see my little cousin. " Well since growing up he became too close to m and took me as his family he even called Golderine cousin. He might spoil her when he comes here.

"I think you miss me and I miss you too. But I said when the time is right I will bring you here and you will get to see her.And that time is now."

"What now ? Are you sure I can come ? Finally I'll be able to see her . But I do know that you will want me to do something what it is ?"

"I'll make arrangements for you to come but while you are on the other side , Lucy can you search for information about a girl named Stephanie here in Raven's Peak . All I know her family is rich ,her friends are Julia and Stacy and she attend school in Raven's Peak High. Give me all her information and where she stays . Add all of her friends information as well"

"I thought that you will give me something hard Emm , I'll give you your full information when I arrive. What will you need again because I can feel that you want many things."

"Lucy buy three doses of Sleeping potion , Protection potion, Devil's claw potion , Rose berries , Black rose water , One Blue Amber rock and One diamond . I know it will empty your pockets bull I'll pay you." I said calmly hoping that he does not ask questions about Devil's Claw potion.

"Out of all the potions you wanted I can see that you are going to use them on someone , but you want Devil's Claw potion for what exactly. Do you know if not used wisely even a drop on a skin can kill a person within seconds turning their hearts into sand. What are you going to use it on ? Is it Gold? I'll come back sooner to take her away from you.? Lucien said with a little panic on his voice.

"Lucien since when I said I'll I'll kill Gold ,my sister's child ? Do I look like I want to commit suicide. I'm still young and still want to live. I'll never hurt her , I take her as my child. I also don't want to be shunned by gods . So Devil's Claws is for someone else not her. I am going to use it to make people to dream a long dream that by the time they wake up they will no longer want to sleep."

"okay no need to tell me your plans , make arrangements and I'll find information and a way to get Devil's Claws potion."

"Also Lucien you will be a friend to Golderine and you will protect her. Bye ." I dropped the call after saying those words . And went to kitchen to prepare dinner for Golderine.
