Chapter 3

Finally Golderine arrived at home , she found her Aunt Mariam busy in the garden,giving the plants water . She sneaked behind her Aunt and tried to scare her but her Aunt long time felt her presence and instead scared Golderine by wearing and Ugly piggy creature make up .

"Aahh !!!" Golderine slapped her Aunts face out of adrenaline and being scared but before the slap reached her Aunt's face , Aunt Mariam holded her fast hand quickly . And laughed at her face for being scared.

"Kiddo, don't tell me that you will reach 18 years in November scared of a me ." Aunt Mariam said while laughing at her .

"I am not scared of you , it is just that your make up is ugly , it almost sended me to death by just looking at it . I did not expect you to look like that. " Golderine said while opening up a pizza , putting it down on the table and sitting down on a chair . Puting down her backpack as if it was strangling her.

"And Mary isn't too hot for you to dress up as if it is Halloween . Your make up will melt and cause irritation on your face . Does your face feel comfortable? Mine feels stiff ,it is time to remove this freckles. " Golderine said as she touched her face .

Her Aunt sat next to her and took a slice of pizza and ate it . "Golderine it is too hot but I can remove all the make up and take a bath , as for your freckles kiddo , I applied long lasting make up . It will last for 2 days , today and tomorrow . " She said so and took another slice of pizza .

" Can make up remover remove it because my face feel like cement has been applied to it and how many layers have you applied of make up ? I want my face to breathe ,it has been a long day for me ." Golderine said so as she stuffed her third pizza slice in her mouth , without forgetting to roll her eyes .

"No make up remover can help , and maybe I should add something more permanent to your face . Anyway how was your day kiddo, did anyone make you cry ? I'll remove their tongue if they said harsh words to you and their hands if they touched you ". Mary said as she looked at my face .

"uhh... Nope . My day was fine you know ,I even defeated Mr Evan during his math class ,with his endless questions . And teachers still avoided me ,Steph and her ... actually just forget it . And no I did not make friendship or try to ." I said as I looked at her .

"Darling try to open up to the world , nobody will do that for you. Try to make more friends and have good memories , you know you will not stay young like that forever . And you are still attached to Steph , do you miss her ?" Mary says as she looks straight at my eyes .

"No I don't miss her , and I won't ever do .I don't believe that our friendship will reach that standard. And you know what I really do regret about her ,that I trusted and looked up to her as a friend . And I really can't understand Mariam why can't you just take school transfer form so that I can leave this hell hole . And why must I always apply make up on my face to hide who I am ?" I said so while looking at her eyes too.

"Darling we can't really leave here, your life is safe here . And also who are you Golderine? Your face doesn't describe what you are . It can't keep you safe . You can't even protect yourself yet you want to show your face .The same face that you want to show off ,you can't really protect it . Look at the reddness on your face I can say that you have been slapped by Steph . If you want to really show yourself and be confident ,start by protecting you self . One can not really show off what they can't protect." Mary said.

"I'm just tired ,I don't want to live like this .I can't live like this ." I said without looking at her .

"Well Golderine you better start doing so ,live like this if you are really not willing to change . Because I have just confirmed who slapped you and tomorrow you come back slapped again , three pairs of hands will be chopped . And soon it will be three tongues. Have a back bone or I'll really remove anything that try to oppress you and I won't have mercy. Life is like a game, it depends how you play it and how it treat you. " she said as she stood in front of me .

"okay Mariam , but please don't hurt them . I'll take care of it my self."

" And also don't forget to water that plant , after removing your uniform . I am going to take a bath and stay at my study" Mary said as she turned away and walked inside the house .

I decided to quickly go to my bedroom and remove my school uniform, and wear some comfortable. I walked back to the garden ready to give the flower that never bloomed water . I believe it is just dead because it never bloomed .I am just waisting water to this unknown flower .I called it unknown flower because Mary does not want to tell me it's name . But she said that when it bloomed It will display the most colorful petals that can be used to safe or destroy life ,it is based on the person who will be using the petals. This flower one can say it is mushroom the way it is shaped but as for petals ,Mary is playing with me .As I keep watering it, I think of my history with Stephanie.

When I first entered Raven's Peak High school , I still did not have a friend . Stephanie was always walking around with Julia and Stacy. But then they fought or pretended . Stacy and Julia broke their friendship with Stephanie and that ended up with Stephanie getting close to me and we eventually became friends . Then the stupid me ,I trusted her .
