Minecraft X Genshin Impact: The Godly Catalyst Of Teyvat

Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Keqing: Can This Workbench Be Used in a Prison?

MC World.

A small village lay nestled between towering mountains and dense birch forests. A gentle stream flowed nearby, and beyond that, vast green plains stretched as far as the eye could see. Herds of horses grazed peacefully, their dark manes flickering in the breeze.

This place had everything a survivalist could ask for — mountains for mining, forests for wood, water for travel, and open plains perfect for taming horses.

Kanzaki had spent over half a year scouting this prime location — a true gem for a starting base.

...And yet, for the past six months, he'd been stuck sleeping on a villager's floor.

As Kanzaki stepped through the portal into the MC world, he stretched his arms wide, breathing in the familiar air.

It wasn't that this world smelled better — it was the sense of ownership.

This was his world. His territory. His rules.

"Is this... your world, Kanzaki?"

Ganyu's voice broke the silence as she stood behind him, gripping her bow tightly and scanning her surroundings with wary eyes.

"It feels... strange," she muttered.

"Strange?" Keqing scoffed, arms crossed. "How about completely insane? Everything here's made of blocks!"

Her frustration was understandable. Despite the vibrant scenery, the landscape looked like someone had loaded Teyvat into a 4090 RTX graphics card — with everything in perfect cubes.

But even that didn't prepare her for what they saw next.

Just beyond the tree line stood a... thing.

Technically, it was a tree — or at least, what should have been a tree.

But instead of a solid trunk, there were just leaves... floating in midair.

"What kind of cursed tree is that?" Keqing blurted.

"I know, I know," Kanzaki chuckled. "Weird, right? You get used to it."

Ganyu glanced at him sideways.

"...I don't think I want to get used to it," she muttered.

Keqing, on the other hand, was already grinning.

"No, this is perfect! Everything's symmetrical, which means resource gathering will be incredibly efficient! This place is practically designed for construction!"

Kanzaki smiled to himself as Keqing's mind immediately shifted to logistics.

"Alright," Kanzaki clapped his hands. "First things first — we need a proper base. Can't have you two living out in the open."

"Base?" Ganyu tilted her head.

"Yeah. You two don't have Steve's insane physique like I do. If you fall into a pit, you're not just 'losing a heart' — you're done for."

Keqing raised a brow.

"'Dig three, fill one,' what does that even mean?"

Kanzaki smirked.

"Don't worry about it."

At that moment, Keqing's eyes lit up.

"Look!" she grabbed Kanzaki's sleeve and pointed to the nearby village.

"We can ask the villagers for some land — then we'll build a house with your magic blocks!"

The words "villagers" and "house" triggered something in Kanzaki's memory.

Right. That villager... the one who hogged the bed.

Time for payback.

"Yeah... we're definitely heading to the village." Kanzaki's smile turned sharp.

"But first... I've got some unfinished business."

Ganyu and Keqing exchanged a confused look.

Without another word, Kanzaki pulled four blocks of wood from his inventory, slapped them into his crafting grid, and created a workbench.

Then, with swift precision...

Sticks. Planks. Planks.

Crafting complete: Wooden Sword (Brand New).

Kanzaki held the wooden sword up to the sky, inspecting it with a satisfied grin.

"Alright... let's go."

"...Go where?" Ganyu asked nervously.

"Revenge."

---

"Uh... Kanzaki?" Keqing called out as she stared at the abandoned workbench he'd left behind.

"This weird crafting table thing of yours..."

"Leave it," Kanzaki's voice echoed back.

"You're just... leaving it behind?"

"It's just a workbench! I'll make a new one when I need it!" Kanzaki's voice carried a smug confidence.

Veteran survivalist vibes.

But Keqing was fixated on the workbench.

No matter how hard she pushed, the table wouldn't budge.

She couldn't pick it up.

She couldn't even scratch it with her Electro-infused blade.

"It's just four blocks of wood," Keqing muttered, narrowing her eyes.

Yet the thing was practically indestructible.

A thought crossed her mind — a wickedly practical idea.

"...If we used this to build prison cells..."

Keqing's fingers tapped thoughtfully against her chin.

A prison made of this material would be impenetrable. Not even the most powerful criminals — or beings like Osial — could break through.

Now that's security.

"Master Keqing!" Ganyu called anxiously.

"We need to hurry! Kanzaki's running off with a wooden sword — I think he's going to fight someone!"

Keqing's focus snapped back to reality.

"Fight... someone?"

Ganyu's face twisted with concern.

"I'm worried... I think he's going to kill someone!"

Keqing froze.

Remembering Kanzaki's unsettling grin before he left, she grabbed Ganyu's hand.

"Come on!"

Keqing hurled her Thunder Wedge ahead, blinking forward in rapid bursts.

But oddly enough... her teleportation range felt stunted — like her abilities weren't as strong in this world.

Still, after several jumps, they finally arrived near the village.

From a distance, they saw Kanzaki in action — chasing someone down with his wooden sword raised high.

"KANZAKI!!" Keqing yelled.

"Don't— Don't kill anyone!"
