Minecraft X Genshin Impact: The Godly Catalyst Of Teyvat

Chapter 6: Chapter 5: Newton Can’t Control the MC Cube, and Neither Can the Laws of Heaven!

Ganyu rubbed her eyes repeatedly, as if doing so might somehow restore her shattered understanding of reality.

For over a thousand years, she'd seen countless marvels — Adepti magic, demon gods waging war, and even the floating Jade Chamber suspended high above Liyue Harbor.

But this…

This wasn't just floating.

The wooden block seemed to be rooted in the air, like a tree planted in the sky.

"What... what is this?" Ganyu stammered.

Keqing stood frozen beside her, wide-eyed.

"Did... did you just grow a floating tree?"

Kanzaki smirked but didn't bother answering. Instead, he casually pulled out two more birch blocks from his inventory.

Without a word, Kanzaki leapt upward, placing a block beneath his feet mid-air. Then another. And another.

Step by step, he climbed upward — birch wood appearing beneath his boots as if he were ascending an invisible staircase.

By the time he reached the rooftop, Keqing and Ganyu's jaws were practically on the floor.

Then… Kanzaki did something even stranger.

He built a block in front of himself, turned around, and knocked down the blocks he had just climbed.

Yet instead of falling, Kanzaki stood firmly on the lone floating block — balanced high above the courtyard as if the air itself had hardened beneath him.

He placed another block ahead, walked forward, turned around, and smashed the block behind him.

Step, place, destroy.

Step, place, destroy.

Like some absurd magic trick, Kanzaki slowly carved a path through the sky using nothing but two rotating wooden blocks.

Ganyu stared upward, her mind spiraling.

He's just... walking on air… with two pieces of wood…

If conditions allowed, Ganyu was sure Kanzaki could travel all the way to Inazuma with just two planks.

Her thousand years of experience had given her no explanation for this.

Kanzaki finally decided he'd put on enough of a show. With a shrug, he smashed the last block and landed gracefully back in the courtyard.

He turned to his stunned audience, grinning smugly.

"Come on now... you don't have to look that surprised."

"That's impossible!" Keqing exclaimed, her voice caught between disbelief and frustration.

"Impossible's just an opinion," Kanzaki chuckled.

Keqing opened her mouth to retort, but Kanzaki tossed a wooden cube into her hands.

The once one-meter block had shrunk to the size of a palm — still floating gently in midair.

"Ganyu, your turn." Kanzaki gestured.

Still dazed, Ganyu reached out and grabbed it — then immediately staggered.

"Wh-what the—?!"

Despite its small size, the cube was unbelievably dense. Ganyu's arms tensed from the unexpected weight.

"This… this is heavier than an entire crystal ore deposit!" Ganyu gasped.

Kanzaki grinned knowingly.

"Of course. That 'tiny' cube you're holding? That's still a cubic meter of solid birch wood."

Ganyu's eyes widened.

"Is this some kind of Sumeru alchemy? A Mustard Seed technique?"

"Not even close," Kanzaki laughed.

"This is just... normal wood from my world. Completely unrefined. I call it a 'birch log.'"

Keqing and Ganyu were silent — their minds racing to grasp the implications.

Kanzaki strolled outside and motioned for them to follow. He withdrew several more birch logs and started laying them down in a path.

"Most materials in my world are shaped like this — perfect little cubes. Trees, soil, stone, ores... you name it."

"One type of material equals sixty-four blocks per 'stack.'"

"As long as you've got the strength to carry them, you can stack tons of resources without breaking a sweat."

"It's like... quantum mechanics in action," Kanzaki added with a shrug. "Superposition and all that."

Keqing stared at the wooden blocks in disbelief.

"But that's... ridiculous…"

"That's MC logic for you," Kanzaki grinned.

As he spoke, Kanzaki casually placed some logs into his crafting bench, disassembling them into wooden planks.

Before long, he'd built a crude little wooden hut — simple, boxy, and ugly as sin... but functional.

"In less than five minutes," Kanzaki said proudly, "you've got a house. Add some stone, glass, and a door — boom! Instant shelter."

"Of course," he added with a grin, "if you're feeling fancy, you can build entire mansions... or a floating island... or even a fortress powered by Redstone circuits."

He dusted off his hands and faced the two still-shocked women.

"Now you understand. That world's potential is limitless — endless resources, endless opportunities."

"But…" Kanzaki's smile faded slightly.

"A world like that also comes with endless danger. I can't explore it alone — not if I want to build something that lasts."

"I need your help."

His words carried weight — not just to Keqing and Ganyu as individuals, but as representatives of Liyue itself.

Kanzaki's offer wasn't just personal — it was political.

In exchange for Liyue's assistance in building his world, Kanzaki would offer them near-limitless resources.

A partnership — one that could change Teyvat forever.

Keqing met Ganyu's gaze. Both women knew what this meant.

This wasn't just about helping a friend. This was a golden opportunity — the chance for Liyue to ascend to heights even greater than before.

Keqing's usual warmth shifted to something sharper — the firm resolve of Yuheng of the Qixing.

"Kanzaki…" Keqing's voice was calm but determined.

"On behalf of Liyue, I can say this — we'll help you."

"We'll also ensure your safety. No one will touch your world without your permission."

"And if anyone tries?" Her eyes flashed with lightning. "They'll regret it."

For a moment, her serious mask cracked, and she added with a teasing smile:

"Honestly… you're starting to sound like one of those old officials in the Ministry of Civil Affairs. All those roundabout speeches…"

Kanzaki chuckled.

"Hey, I used to work in government back home. Old habits die hard."

Keqing's eyes widened with excitement.

"Wait... really?! No wonder you understand governance so well! We need to sit down sometime — I'd love to hear your thoughts on policy, resource management—"

"Keqing..." Ganyu sighed, shaking her head.

"Oh, right." Keqing blushed. "Sorry, sorry... got a little carried away."

"It's fine," Kanzaki said with a smirk.

He snapped his fingers. A shimmering portal of swirling light unfolded before them.

"So... how about a tour of my world?"

Keqing and Ganyu exchanged a glance — and smiled.

"Of course!" Keqing said, stepping forward.

Ganyu giggled softly, her nervousness fading.

"We'll make sure to keep you safe, Kanzaki."
