For some reason, Itadori seemed a little anxious.

"Why?"

This is an important first step to becoming a formal hero.

Itadori turned his head and asked.

"Because… my mom and dad will watch it too…" Momo said hesitantly.

The words "Momo" suddenly reminded Itadori.

The League of Villains and ALL FOR ONE would probably be watching too.

ALL FOR ONE can take over any Quirk…

Thinking of this, Itadori couldn't help but recall the incredible combat and destructive power displayed by All Might during the USJ incident.

"That's true. If you don't produce better results, Mr. Yaoyorozu and the others won't trust you with me."

Itadori changed the subject, immediately picking Momo up by the waist and walking toward the mansion.

"Ah! Don't do this; don't let anyone else see!"

Momo's face turned red as she struggled nervously. After trying to wriggle free, she could only cover her face tightly with her hands.

In early May, the much-anticipated U.A. Sports Festival finally kicked off.

Before this, no one noticed that when Itadori and Momo arrived at school, Petra was actually watching from the top of the U.A. teaching building.

Every day, as soon as the two of them stepped out of the luxury car, Petra would instantly fly out and either perch on the roof of the building or hide in the shade of the trees outside Class 1-A's window.

The students may not have noticed, but the teachers seemed unsure.

Itadori observed Shota Aizawa glancing out the window several times as if he suspected something.

On the day of the sports festival, Momo's luxury car couldn't even reach the school gate. When they were still about 200 meters away, the road was blocked.

"Master, Miss, we can't go any further. The road ahead is blocked. There are always many cars and people on the day of the U.A. Sports Festival every year. " The driver said apologetically.

"Aren't the sidewalks wide?"

Itadori pointed to the sidewalk on the right, "Make way."

"Master, there are people everywhere!"

"Itadori, what are you talking about?"

Both the driver and Momo looked shocked.

"Just kidding."

Itadori chuckled, taking Momo's hand as they exited the car.

Petra, who was perched on Itadori's shoulder, soared into the sky as usual once they stepped out.

With eagle eyes that could spot a mouse several kilometers away, Petra never let Itadori out of sight. At a single gesture, Petra would return immediately.

Originally, the luxury cars Momo and Itadori took to school would pass through this forest road. But today, crowds and small shops lined the street, blocking the way.

As soon as they reached the gate, Shota Aizawa noticed them, escorting them to the student entrance and instructing them to go straight to the locker room to change.

For fairness, everyone at this sports festival wore sportswear.

"Is that the key surveillance target this time?"

As Itadori and Momo entered the stadium, several men in black suits watched them from a distance.

They were representatives sent by the Hero Association for surveillance.

Every year, the Hero Association sent staff to the U.A. Sports Festival to scout talent deserving of special attention.

This year, however, they had another task: closely monitoring the transfer student from China, named "Itadori."

Just as the Hero Association representatives fixed their gaze on Itadori, they felt a sudden chill, as if they were walking on thin ice.

When they turned around, they found a peregrine falcon with a helmet and a purple scarf, perched on a branch nearby, glaring at them.

As they looked over, Petra smirked before soaring skyward, vanishing into the clouds above the stadium.

"Th-that bird is..."

One of the men raised a hand to wipe the cold sweat from his brow with his sleeve.

"The second animal in the world to awaken a Quirk. It was once a target for the Hero Association but has reportedly been subdued by that Itadori!"

Another man said with lingering fear, "I'd heard that the bird has strength comparable to a hero ranked within the top 15, but I didn't believe it until now."

"Did it warn us because it realized we were watching Itadori? That bird seems to have intelligence on par with humans, like Principal Nezu."

The man wiped his sweat, frowning, "Should we continue the surveillance?"

"Of course. This is U.A., with many heroes around! If the bird attacks unprovoked, we'll notify the association for a secondary apprehension. That's our job!"

After changing into sportswear, Class A gathered in the lounge.

Outside, the cheers of 120,000 spectators in the U.A. Sports Festival stadium could still be faintly heard.

As they waited for the call to enter the playground, tension filled the air as Todoroki Shoto's challenge to Izuku Midoriya sparked a palpable competitive energy.

In an unexpected turn, Midoriya, despite the obvious gap in strength, dared to counter Todoroki's challenge.

"He's got some fire in him." Inasa said excitedly, watching the two argue.

"Oh."

Itadori let out a light laugh. It occurred to him that both he and Todoroki had a purpose for participating in this sports festival.

Todoroki was aiming to prove something to the father he resented, while Itadori saw it as an opportunity to catch the attention of ALL FOR ONE.

Despite personally looking down on him, Itadori was intrigued by ALL FOR ONE's ability to steal quirks.

Multiple and messy quirks were unnecessary, but taking what was essential could be useful.

ONE FOR ALL remained Itadori's ultimate goal.

"Itadori, you're one of the people I aim to defeat." Todoroki declared, suddenly redirecting his attention from Midoriya to Itadori, "I don't know why you came to U.A., but I will be the final victor."

Itadori, after staring into Todoroki's intense eyes for a long moment, responded casually, "Oh."

Momo stifled a laugh.

She understood Itadori's mindset. Whatever his intentions for entering the festival, he definitely had a goal more meaningful than victory.

In Itadori's view, Todoroki's challenge was no different from a childish spat.

Todoroki's face darkened, finding Itadori's simple reply more infuriating than any taunt.

"If...you are willing to serve me..."

Itadori paused mid-sentence, then shook his head with a chuckle, "No, there's no need. I already have someone with a similar quirk as yours."

Though Todoroki didn't fully understand, the word "serve" triggered a flash of anger.

However, he remained stoic, unlike Bakugo, who clenched his fists and shot glares in every direction.

"Hey, hey, hey! You three think you're ignoring me? I'll crush you all soon enough! The real winner will be me!"

Since entering U.A., Bakugo's temperament had tempered. After witnessing Itadori's prowess at the USJ, he had begun to understand the futility of blind arrogance.

It wasn't that Bakugo was afraid. Fear was a foreign concept to him. Instead, he'd simply recognized the foolishness in his former provocation.

"First-year students, enter the arena!"

With Present Mic's shout over the loudspeaker, Itadori and his classmates filed into the stadium to the cheers of 120,000 spectators.

The golden sunlight poured down, causing Itadori to shield his eyes, "I really don't like this kind of dazzling sunlight." He muttered.

On the stadium's four large screens, Present Mic was enthusiastically hyping up the crowd.

"Ladies and gentlemen from across the country, media representatives, and hero agencies in attendance! Today's the day you've been waiting for! The U.A. Sports Festival has officially begun! Are you ready?!"

As Present Mic riled up the crowd, the stadium's atmosphere reached a fever pitch. The cheers reverberated across the grounds, so intense that even students like Midoriya, with less experience, felt a pang of nerves.

The entry of Class A drew the loudest cheers. After the USJ incident, they had gained significant attention from the hero society.

When the other classes entered, a hint of envy tinged their expressions. Class B, in particular, felt this acutely, resentful of the acclaim Class A received.

From Class B's perspective, the matter was ultimately resolved by All Might; Class A was just fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time.

What they didn't know was that U.A.'s faculty had deliberately downplayed the pivotal roles Class A students, especially Itadori, had played.

As Class 1-A gathered in the main stadium, many male students were captivated by Midnight, the referee, dressed in her usual daring outfit.
