Goten Shintaro, better known as Goten, had spent a brief year serving as a sidekick to other heroes.

Before striking out as a professional hero on his own, the introverted and shy Goten devised a compromise plan: he would first spend a year learning the ropes of independent heroism.

Annoyed by Toshihiko's teasing, Shintaro heads out to the entrance. It's starting to get chilly outside, and the nights are getting colder.

Not wanting to keep the guest waiting, he hurriedly opened the front door...

"Hello? Who is it...?"

"It's been a while, Gogeta. No, Goten Shintaro, I've heard a lot about your achievements."

"Sir Night Eye? Why are you here?"

"I brought him here!"
