Chapter 8: Results

While our group was having a friendly conversation, Ryuko-nee had already managed to destroy the robot carrying the crescent moon badge. After a quick and effective attack, Ryuko-nee ensured that the crescent moon badge was in her possession. A brief excitement burned in her heart, but she knew that this was far from over.

After obtaining the badge, she immediately flew into the sky to find another target robot. With her sharp vision, she scanned the surrounding area from a high vantage point. Every movement below became her key focus as she sought her next target.

After searching here and there, she finally found a target robot with the sun badge. The robot was moving quickly among the ruins below, but Ryuko-nee remained focused.

She immediately dived towards the robot. The strong wind followed her path as she descended rapidly, ready to strike.

But as the distance between her and the robot slowly closed, a fog suddenly filled the entire area. The thick fog enveloped her vision, making it difficult to see her target.

"Is that your doing, Haku-san?" she asked, her voice echoing through the fog.

Seeing the fog surrounding the area, Ryuko-nee seemed to already know who was responsible. She quickly realized that this was the work of one of her friends.

She was one of her female friends in class 1-A, possessing a Quirk to control fog, named Kirigaya Haku. This thick fog was one of Haku's go-to tactics to disrupt her opponent's vision.

"If a few months ago I was in this situation, I would have immediately flown away and looked for another target," she said, recalling how she used to struggle with facing such fog.

(POV Ryuko)

(Flashback)

She remembered her conversation with Hiruma a few months ago. The memory was so vivid in her mind, as if it had happened just yesterday.

"Ryuko-nee, do you have a special move in your dragon form?" Hiruma asked curiously.

"Not now, I usually just physically destroy my enemies," I replied, pondering for a moment.

"That's a shame, can you breathe dragon fire from your mouth when you transform into a dragon?" Hiruma asked eagerly, his eyes sparkling with hope.

"No, do you want to help me create a special move?" I replied jokingly, hoping to make him laugh.

But unexpectedly, Himura, whom I thought would joke back, actually gave me an idea that could inspire the creation of my special move. That idea stuck with me, and I practiced it every day leading up to this festival.

(Now)

Seeing the fog starting to thicken, I prepared my stance with my right hand in a claw shape stretched forward and my left hand stretched backward. My body was ready to unleash all the power I had.

Then I started spinning in place with my wings ready to flap in unison to balance my spinning rhythm. My movements grew faster, creating a swirling wind around me.

"Tatsumaki!" I shouted with full spirit, launching my move that generated a large wind vortex like a tornado.

All the fog and anything around me flew away, blown by the strong wind generated by my movement. The thick fog gradually disappeared, revealing my vision once again.

Then I quickly locked onto the target robot's position and swiftly took the sun badge. Wasting no time, I immediately flew back to the stadium, carrying two victory badges in my hands.

The screen currently displays a video of how Ryuko-nee managed to obtain the badge using her new special move. The video shows the tense moments when she faced the fog and then used the Tatsumaki move to clear the area. All eyes were on the big screen, admiring the skill and strategy she demonstrated.

Then shortly after, Ryuko-nee handed over the pair of badges she had obtained to Aqua on stage. With firm and confident steps, she presented the badges as proof of her success. The audience cheered upon seeing her achievement.

"Good job, Ryuko-nee!" I shouted with enthusiasm, unable to contain my pride and joy.

Seeing this, I shouted excitedly, praising Ryuko-nee's actions in the game. My cheer joined the other voices praising her feat.

Although she did not secure first place, second place was already impressive. Her achievement still brought pride and proved her extraordinary abilities.

"Although not first, second place is still good, as long as you don't always stay in second place forever," I said loudly, ensuring that my words could be heard clearly.

Hearing my words, as a hero who had held the second position for quite some time, Endeavor felt anger and almost unleashed his red fire to burn the mischievous child beside him. His anger was evident on his face, but he tried to hold back.

Fortunately, he managed to restrain his murderous desire, after all, although his face always looked intimidating, he was also a Pro Hero. His self-control was part of his professionalism.

Moreover, his opponent was just a little kid who could only talk big. Endeavor realized that drastic actions were unnecessary in this situation and chose to ignore the mischievous child's remarks.

Meanwhile, the large screen in the stadium continued to display the progress of the game with the participants showcasing their various Quirks. The spectators were fixated on the screen, watching how each participant used their unique powers to compete and achieve victory. Every moment was filled with action and tension, keeping everyone glued to the screen.

The announcer continued to broadcast the ups and downs of the game with a loud and enthusiastic voice. He provided live commentary, ensuring that all spectators remained informed about every development in the game. His energetic voice added to the festive atmosphere in the stadium.

"Oh, look at what just happened… Sakata Gintoki from class 1-B has transformed into a giant Gorilla with white hair all over his body," the announcer exclaimed with admiration, describing an amazing transformation.

"So far, he has managed to obtain one sun badge, so if he can defeat this robot, he is expected to be one of the participants who will advance to the next game!" the announcer continued excitedly, highlighting Gintoki's potential success in the game.

"And look at the green fire burning this robot to the point of melting!" he shouted, adding impressive information about how the robot was destroyed.

"It turns out this is the work of a student from 1-A, this student has green hair that burns like fire!" The announcer's voice grew more excited, introducing the standout participant with a unique Quirk.

"His name is Kamiji Moe!" The announcer's voice boomed, ensuring that everyone knew who was responsible for the extraordinary action.

And so the game continued to intensify as time went on. The competition grew tighter with each passing minute, making the participants strive harder to achieve their goals. Each participant displayed their best skills and powers.

Until many participants began obtaining a pair of badges and started returning to the stadium. They returned with pride and satisfaction, showing that they had overcome the challenges given. The audience cheered for their success, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

"The participant who secured the 3rd position is Kamiji Moe from class 1-A!" the announcer shouted loudly, drawing everyone's attention in the stadium. All eyes were on Kamiji Moe, who secured third place.

"The participant who secured the 4th position is Sakata Gintoki from class 1-B!" the announcer continued, highlighting Gintoki's achievement in reaching fourth place.

"The participant who secured the 5th position is Wakasa Remi from class 1-B!" the announcer exclaimed enthusiastically, giving recognition to Wakasa Remi for his achievement.

"The participant who secured the 6th position is Wakasa Refi from class 1-A," the announcer continued, making the announcement with a full spirited voice.

The announcements from the event announcer continued, until…

"The participant who secured the last spot, placing 32nd, is Torame Sasuke from class 1-A!" This shout from the announcer marked the end of the announcement of participants advancing to the next round.

"And so concludes the first round of the festival, everyone. We will now take a 30-minute break before continuing with the second round of the game!" The announcer provided information about the upcoming break, giving everyone a chance to rest for a while.

"Give a big round of applause to our participants who have advanced, and also give a hand to the students who were less fortunate this time!" This call from the announcer was followed by cheers and applause from the audience, showing support for all the participants.

Next, there will be time for both the audience and participants to rest or move freely, such as going to the restroom. This break gave everyone the opportunity to stretch their muscles and prepare for the next round. The stadium became a bit quieter, with some people choosing to walk around or look for snacks before the event resumed.
