Chapter 7: Strategy
Back when Ryuko-nee had just flown in her dragon form, the atmosphere in the stadium heated up even more. All the participants and spectators couldn't take their eyes off her spectacular performance. But all of this didn't affect the actions of one particular participant.
There was a male participant who hadn't moved from his spot since the game started. He remained calm and focused, seemingly planning something strategic. He placed one of his palms on the ground and closed his eyes, as if concentrating deeply.
While the male participant had his eyes closed, some participants had already made it out of the stadium gate. They ran at high speed, trying to secure the best positions in the game.
Sakata Gintoki was one of them. He immediately ran and searched for the robot that was the target in this game. With sharp eyes and trained instincts, he tried to find the robot carrying the unique badge.
Outside the stadium, there were already many robots roaming around. These robots moved at high speed, making participants extra cautious. But not all robots had the sun and moon badges, so the participants had to be vigilant in observing each robot they encountered.
After careful observation, Gintoki finally found a robot with a badge. The robot looked different from the others, with a badge shining on its body.
He immediately approached the robot, ready to fight it to obtain the badge. Gintoki prepared with full strength, focusing on the robot that was his target.
But as he was about to approach the robot, the ground around it suddenly turned into red sand that enveloped the robot. The solid ground transformed into a sea of sand surrounding the robot.
In an instant, the red sand disappeared without damaging the robot. But what disappeared along with the sand was a small black crescent-shaped badge. The badge seemed to have been absorbed by the mysterious red sand.
The large screen above the stadium was currently highlighting the participant performing this unusual action. The spectators and other participants looked curious about what was happening. The camera focused on the participant, showing that this action would become the center of attention shortly.
This participant placed one palm on the ground and closed his eyes. He appeared calm and focused, as if channeling his energy to accomplish something extraordinary. The atmosphere around him became tense, and everyone waited in anticipation.
It didn't take long before some changes occurred around him. The ground around the participant started to tremble and change as if a powerful force was at work. All eyes were on this participant, trying to understand what was happening.
A little red sand spurted out from beside him, creating a surprising and attention-grabbing sight. The red sand seemed to move on its own as if it had life.
There were also two black and white badges in the red sand. These badges shone with a striking light, making them clearly visible among the red sand.
Without hesitation, the red-haired male student immediately grabbed the badges and walked calmly towards the stage. He looked very confident and composed, as if he knew exactly what to do.
"Aqua-sensei, I have obtained the two badges. May I return to the players' waiting room now?" said the red-haired young man with a calm and assured voice.
"Oh…" Aqua was also surprised by this result, and her mind was processing what had just happened. She didn't expect a participant to obtain the badges so quickly.
But the other announcer reacted quickly and spoke loudly. His voice was full of enthusiasm and admiration, drawing the attention of all the spectators.
"Oh… What just happened? Saramu Akasu from class 1-B has just quickly obtained a pair of sun and moon badges!" exclaimed the announcer with excitement.
"This is incredibly fast! The time since the game started is only 2 minutes, and Saramu Akasu from class 1-B has already obtained a pair of badges! And what's more extraordinary is that he didn't even move from his spot to get those badges! This is truly remarkable!" continued the announcer with admiration.
After hearing the announcer's voice, Aqua finally snapped out of it and made an announcement. Her voice was once again full of enthusiasm, praising this extraordinary participant.
"Congratulations to Saramu Akasu from class 1-B for securing the first position in the [Robot Rampage] game!" Aqua shouted with enthusiasm, acknowledging the participant's achievement.
"Next, you are free to choose whether to stay here or return to the waiting room." Aqua continued with a friendly and understanding voice.
"Alright then, Aqua-sensei," Akasu replied as he walked back to the waiting room calmly. He seemed satisfied with his achievement and wanted to return to rest and prepare for the next game.
"Endeavor-san, how do you rate Saramu Akasu's performance?" my father asked the number 2 hero.
Seeing this surprising event, my father couldn't help but ask Endeavor about his opinion regarding this participant. His curiosity peaked as he witnessed the extraordinary ability of the participant. My father thought that he might get a satisfying perspective from a famous hero like Endeavor.
"What do you think, you little rascal?" instead of answering my father's question, Endeavor turned his attention to me. He seemed to want to see my joke first before giving his comment.
But perhaps what he didn't expect was that I would be able to answer his question quite well. I prepared myself to give an explanation that might surprise him.
"Saramu-san used his Quirk very well and cleverly," I answered confidently. I tried to explain in detail the abilities and strategies used by Saramu.
"First of all, while the other participants were focused on getting out of the stadium gate, he used a little of his red sand to attach to the participants." I started my explanation about the initial tactics used by Saramu.
"Maybe his red sand can't become his second eye, but through his red sand, he can feel the rough shapes of objects." I explained the possible way Saramu utilized his Quirk to detect his surroundings.
"He might also be able to sense the position of the sand he released, thus becoming the coordinates where he would use his red sand to steal the badge." I continued explaining how Saramu could accurately determine his target.
"When the participants with his red sand attached found the target robot, he immediately covered the target robot with his red sand to quickly steal the badge." I described how Saramu efficiently stole the badge from the target robot.
"Then his red sand would quickly bring the badge to him underground." I concluded my explanation on how Saramu retrieved the badge from the target robot without much difficulty.
Hearing my almost perfect answer, our group was stunned. They might not have expected that I could provide such a detailed and precise explanation.
Endeavor also didn't expect to get such an answer from a 6-year-old mischievous child. His face looked surprised and full of admiration, even though he didn't admit it.
So Endeavor just turned and said, "Huh." Though simple, this reaction showed that he was quite impressed with my answer.
In contrast to her husband, Todoroki Rei was very surprised by my intelligence and praised me with a big smile. Her admiration and smile made me feel appreciated.
The four little kids in front of her also looked at me with bright eyes. They seemed inspired by my explanation and might have felt impressed by my knowledge.
