Chapter 71: : The Helix Pact

šŸ“˜ Chapter 71

🧬 Scene 1: Echoes of a Forbidden Pact

Inside a concealed chamber beneath the ruins of the ancient Krono Temple, Velos and Zeron's ex-girlfriend—Lyssa Vale—exchange words heavy with betrayal and desperation.

Lyssa (coldly): "We warned them. Krono would bring extinction, not evolution."

Velos clenches his fist.

Velos: "This world was built on Krono. If the Valken corrupt it... we lose everything."

Lyssa activates a device: a projection of the Helix Pact. It outlines a catastrophic contingency plan—a Krono energy detonation protocol that can disrupt all Krono-based lifeforms.

Lyssa: "Including Valken… and humans."

Velos hesitates. Destroying Krono could save the planet… or doom it.

šŸ› ļø Scene 2: Last Frame: Project Tri-Core

In Zake's lab, Zake stares at the diagnostics with horror.

Zake: "The neural fusion rate between Zui and Zeron is rising—even in their sleep."

He begins construction of a new interface system for Last Frame—codenamed Project Tri-Core, designed to distribute the Krono load across three synchronized minds.

Zake: "One heart broke the world. Three might save it."

To stabilize them, he needs a third pilot—and quickly.

He turns to Serin.

Serin (sighs): "I prefer solo missions. But… fine. For those two, I'll be the damn anchor."

🧠 Scene 3: The Mindmeld Trial

Zui and Zeron wake up in a simulation field. They're trapped in a shared memory—a fusion between Zui's nightmare of being abandoned, and Zeron's trauma of watching their parents vanish.

Suddenly, a younger version of Zake appears, guiding them toward clarity.

Zake (hologram): "This isn't your pain alone. You two are a mirror of Krono's first link."

Together, Zui and Zeron calm the fusion. They awaken in the real world to find Serin waiting.

Serin (grinning): "Guess I'm babysitting you both now."

šŸ›°ļø Scene 4: The Valken Seed Moon

Meanwhile, Valken Prime completes construction of a floating fortress—The Seed Moon, a massive biotechnological satellite that absorbs Krono from the atmosphere, converting it into corrupted code.

A countdown begins.

Valken Prime: "When the Seed blooms… humanity ends."

One Valken Lieutenant—Onyx Vair, a mechanical war priest—volunteers to descend and guard the Seed Moon's planetary anchor.

šŸ”„ Scene 5: Assault on the Anchor Tower

The anchor is planted inside the Axis Spire, a colossal tower in the center of a decaying city.

Zeron, Zui, and Serin—now piloting the Tri-Core Last Frame—launch into the heart of it.

System: "Tri-Core Sync: 92%—Stability maintained."

Zake guides them remotely as they break through Valken-controlled drones and corrupted earth mechas.

The final chamber opens—revealing Onyx Vair, 10 meters tall, his body lined with thousands of stored minds.

Onyx: "You fight with borrowed souls. I fight with the legacy of extinction."

A colossal battle erupts—Onyx reshaping his arms into spinning vortex blades, while Last Frame shifts into its Trinity Assault Mode—three spectral arms forming around its body, controlled independently by each pilot.

šŸ’„ Scene 6: Victory, With a Cost

With a desperate move, Serin uses his Krono to shield the minds of Zui and Zeron, allowing Zake to redirect excess power.

Zui overloads her side of the core, creating a starlight beam that pierces Onyx's head.

Onyx (as he fades): "A worthy Trinity... but your war has just begun."

The anchor is destroyed. The Seed Moon begins malfunctioning in orbit.

Back in the Tri-Core cockpit, all three collapse from exhaustion—but they survive.

šŸ•µļø Scene 7: The Spy Unmasked

Back in the Mecha Association HQ, a hidden traitor in the high council transmits stolen Krono maps to the Helix Order.

But this time, Zake intercepts the code—and traces it to an unexpected name.

Zake: "No… it's coming from inside… our own Guild Leader's terminal."

The chapter ends with Zake preparing to confront the highest-ranking official of the entire Krono Defense Corps.
