Chapter 72: : The Seed Moon Cracks

📘 Chapter 72

🌌 Scene 1: Tremors in the Sky

High above the atmosphere, the Seed Moon—that vast orb of corrupted Krono energy—glows a sickly violet, veins of energy writhing across its surface like cracks in an egg. Deep within its core, Valken Prime activates the next phase.

Valken Prime: "If this world bleeds Krono... then let it drown in it."

With a flick of his hand, a countdown begins: 72 hours until detonation.

A planetary-scale Krono pulse that would rupture the minds of every living Krono user on the planet.

🧬 Scene 2: Recovery & Revelation

Back at the Axis Spire, the Tri-Core cockpit decompresses. Zeron, Zui, and Serin are exhausted, emotionally drained, and scarred—but alive.

Zui (softly): "I saw Dad… just for a second, in the fusion stream."

Zeron (nodding): "I saw Mom too. But it wasn't real... was it?"

Serin, silent until now, slowly removes his gloves. His arms are covered in scarring—deep, pulsating lines of old Krono burns.

Serin: "The price of sync... isn't always visible."

He tells them a piece of his past: once part of an elite Trinity Unit called Team Caelum, he lost both his co-pilots in a failed Krono dive mission. He's vowed never to sync again—until now.

Serin: "You two… reminded me what it's like to fight for someone again."

⚠️ Scene 3: Lyssa Returns

In the outer fringes of Mecha Zone 9, Zeron and Zui are summoned to a neutral district where Lyssa is waiting, cloaked and guarded.

Her once bright eyes are colder, sharper.

Lyssa: "You've grown strong. But that seed above? It's your fault now."

She reveals that she had stolen classified Krono research from the Guild—the same tech that made the Seed Moon possible.

Zeron grabs her arm, angry and confused.

Zeron: "Why? You were one of us!"

Lyssa (whispering): "Because someone you trust is already working with them. I only delayed the explosion… I didn't start it."

Before she can say more, Guild forces storm the site, and Lyssa vanishes into smoke.

🧠 Scene 4: The Forbidden Blueprint

Meanwhile, Zake breaks through encrypted files on the traitor's terminal. What he finds shocks him:

A Krono blueprint known as "Eidolon Protocol".It theorizes a weapon capable of rewriting Krono DNA using emotional input—a weapon that can destroy or evolve a mind based on how it's used.

Zake: "It's not just energy. Krono... is memory. Emotion. Soul."

He realizes Valken isn't trying to destroy the world—he's trying to rewrite it.

💣 Scene 5: Countdown to Oblivion

In Mecha HQ, an emergency alert blasts across all Guild channels:

Seed Moon Instability Detected

Global Krono Pulse in 67 Hours

Evacuation Recommended – Krono Null Zones only

Panic sets in.

Zeron, Zui, Serin, and Zake argue—should they strike now, or upgrade first?

Zake: "We go unprepared, we die. You need the wings."

Serin: "We waste time upgrading, the world dies."

But Zui offers a third option: steal a teleport core from a fallen Valken ship and warp straight to the Seed Moon, bypassing all planetary defenses.

Zui (grinning): "We don't have time to play heroes. So let's cheat."

⚔️ Scene 6: The Night Raid Begins

That night, under the camouflage of a solar eclipse, the Tri-Core unit launches into the desert ruins of Zone Eclipta, where a crashed Valken dreadnought still hums with alien power.

Dozens of black-cloaked soldiers await them—The Helix Order.

Leading them: a face from Serin's past—his old commander, Captain Rieva Sol, now a Helix loyalist.

Rieva (smirking): "You were always the weakest of us, Serin. Still hiding behind others?"

What follows is a chaotic three-way battle: Tri-Core Mecha versus Helix cloaks versus dormant Valken automatons.

At one point, Zui is cornered—but is saved by a surprise ally:

Milo, Zake's tech-savvy old friend, returns with a portable drone army he's been building in secret.

Milo (laughing): "Sorry I'm late! Had to finish polishing the laser turrets!"

🚀 Scene 7: The Wings of Chrono

Finally, Zake installs the last component: Chrono Wings—gravity-defying appendages that allow Last Frame to phase in and out of Krono rifts, essentially short-range teleportation.

System: "Flight Mode – Chrono Wings Activated."

As they lift into the skies toward the Seed Moon, Zake says quietly:

Zake: "Zeron... don't forget. The person helping the Valken... is still inside our walls."
