Chapter forty six:

Tonight was the welcome party for the students. We wanted them to have a way to celebrate their first week. It was intense and hard work they deserved to blow off a little steam. Wanda Maximoff and I decided to take Natasha and the boys into town to get them some outfits for the dance. Wanda Maximoff drove into town stopping at the dress shop first. Natasha made sure to find out what dress Maria was wearing so they could match. The shop even had the same dress as Maria in a different color and it looked beautiful on Natasha. Wanda Maximoff started to get emotional so she headed outside to get some fresh air making it up that she wasn't feeling well. I thought that it was adorable she's struggling with seeing our kids grow up. It's happening way too fast for her liking. Sometimes I catch her looking at albums from when they were babies and crying. Once we've paid we head outside to see a much more composed Wanda Maximoff.

"Mom why did you cry?" Said Natasha.

"You're growing up too fast and she can't handle it." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff nodded and started to cry again. I then gave her a quick kiss on the lips to calm her down.

"Gross." Said Billy Maximoff.

"So you don't want us to buy you a tux ok let's go home then." I replied.

"He never said that. Fine we are sorry." Said Tommy Maximoff.

Wanda Maximoff then drove us to the tux shop. The boys goes in picking a outfit and it fit them no problem.

Natasha made us stop at a flower shop so she could take flowers to her cousin Maria. Apparently pink tulips were her favorite so we got a bunch of them. She was clearly learning friendship from Wanda. While they were buying the flowers the boys and I went to a shop around the corner. We'd been so busy with the school I hadn't got the time to get this season's football shirt for the Seattle Seahawks. I got Maximoff with number 13 on the back for how many years Wanda Maximoff and I have been together. Our anniversary was coming up soon so I thought it was the perfect way to surprise her. I actually got one for all of us. It had been a tumultuous year I thought we deserved a treat. Billy and Tommy had the number 13 for their age and I got Wanda Maximoff the same.

We had a few hours until the party so naturally the kids were running around like headless chickens trying to get ready. Wanda Maximoff and I were sitting on the bed watching a TV show. While she was watching I just looked at her.

"You never watch anything that I put on Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Why would I want to watch anything else when I've got the most beautiful woman in the world in front of me?" I replied.

"You're so cheesy." Said Wanda Maximoff while rolling her eyes at me.

"It's one of the reasons why you love me." I replied.

"Yeah it is." Said Wanda Maximoff before she gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

Wanda Maximoff then started watching the show again and rested her head on my lap. I stroked her auburn hair as I started to watch the show as well. It's not a bad show but Wanda was just so much more enticing to look at.

When she finished Wanda Maximoff was asleep on my lap so I moved her head on the pillow leaving a kiss on her forehead before I went to take a shower. I'm ready and I just needed to shave but Wanda was asleep I really don't want to wake her up. The worst way to wake up is to that annoying shaver so I climbed into bed and left kisses on her neck to wake her up. Wanda Maximoff then smiled at me.

"That's a nice way to wake up. You look handsome Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

I gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "Thank you. I didn't want to wake you up but I need to shave and go check on everything." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then grabbed my hand and spinned me back down towards her and pulled me in for a long passionate kiss on the lips.

"I just had to give you a proper kiss seeing as I can't kiss you all evening. It's essentially torture. I'll be down soon." Said Wanda Maximoff.

I then smiled before going to the school. The hallway is done beautifully there's balloons and DJs deck's on the stage with disco lights throughout. Bruce Banner had done a good job.

"Hey Travis. What do you think?" Replied Bruce Banner.

"It looks amazing Bruce the kids are going to love it. You know if this teaching thing doesn't work out you should definitely be a party planner." I said.

We put the finishing touches on the hallway and the snacks table. After half a hour Wanda walked in and she looked ethereal. I can't put into words how beautiful she looked. The smile plastered across my face said it all.

"Do you like it?" Replied Wanda Maximoff while twirling around.

"I love it but more importantly I love you Wanda." I said kissing her gently on the lips.

A few minutes later the kids started to arrive. They all looked adorable dressed up. When Maria and Natasha walked in my heart melted a little bit. They were smiling and looked so happy. The boys and Joseph Carter came in together with sunglasses on trying to look cool.

Chaperoning was pretty fun all of us just got to talk while the kids enjoyed themselves. Wanda Maximoff and I didn't dance together as the kids begged us not to embarrass them.

"How cute do they look?" Said Carol Danvers as she looked at Natasha and Maria.

"Adorable. It makes me feel old though. They're growing up so fast." I replied.

"You're still hot though Travis don't worry." Said Carol Danvers.

Jordan and Wanda then slapped her on the arm. When the party was over Maria, the boys and Natasha helped us clean up. The boys and I used our speed to get it done as quickly as possible. It didn't take as long. Natasha walked Maria home. When she got back she had the biggest smile on her face.

Wanda Maximoff and I then headed to our room and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"You know she gets that friendship side from you Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"And she gets that beautiful side from you." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

I then grabbed my phone and played You'll Never Walk Alone before offering her my hand. Wanda Maximoff then took it. I pulled Wanda into me and we danced together.

"I love you so much Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me long and passionately on the lips.

"I love you too Wanda. Always and forever." I replied.
