Chapter forty five:

It was Friday night and Natasha was excited about her sleepover. The boys were going to stay in the dorms and have a sleepover with Joseph Carter so we decided to have a party. All of our friends including the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jordan and Carol Danvers was coming into town so we decided to have a party. Bruce Banner said that he would babysit for Sam Wilson and Monica Rambeau as he wasn't one for partying and we had a caretaker who looked after the boarding house. I can't remember the last time we had a party without our kids being there. We had a bar built just like the one at the Avengers headquarters but it was cooler. You can pour your own pints straight from the draught. We got this fancy new cocktail maker that we wanted to try out. We hired a couple of bar tenders for the evening.

Wanda Maximoff and I got dressed up like we used to for parties in the Avengers headquarters. Wanda Maximoff looked stunning as usual. I then brought her in for a long passionate kiss on the lips.

"I'm starting to regret hosting this party. I'd much rather stay here with you." I said before kissing her neck.

"We can always leave the party early. Come on the guess are leaving." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

Wanda Maximoff then took my hand and we waited downstairs for the Guardians of the Galaxy to arrive. When the jet landed I headed straight for Hope Van Dyne and Pepper Potts. We haven't seen them for nearly a year.

"We missed you too." Said Hope Van Dyne.

Once everyone arrives we head inside to reminisce and drink ourselves silly.

"So how is Natasha and the boys?" Replied Jordan.

We all sat in a group with Carol Danvers, Jordan and Valkyrie.

"Natasha has a crush on someone actually. The boys made a friend Joseph Carter he's related to Sharon and Peggy." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"You mean my niece has a crush on someone. I'm taking all of the credit." Replied Carol Danvers.

"I don't even think they've spoken about it. We only found out cause Pietro snitched." I said.

We continued to reminisce about our past. A lot of it involves Carol Danvers as vein as ever. After a while Peter Parker suggested that we play truth or dare as a drinking game.

"How old are you Peter?" Replied Valkyrie.

"Aw come on Peter was never old enough to drink with us and play with us when we were at HQ." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Alright Wanda truth or dare?" Replied Carol Danvers.

"Truth." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Is it true when Travis built the penthouse he got your bedroom sound proofed?" Replied Carol Danvers.

Wanda Maximoff then began to blush.

"Yes." Said Wanda Maximoff.

Thor smiled brightly while Peter Parker looked confused. He's still so innocent and sweet.

"Ok Travis truth or dare?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Dare." I said.

"I dare you to move Storm breaker." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

I've always wanted to try but I never thought that I was worthy. I walked over to Storm breaker and I was nervous. When I go to lift it, there is movement one end of it screeches while the other starts to lift. It won't go any further. Everyone looked at me shocked.

"Wait what's happening?" I said.

"You know the last person that did that was Captain America. He eventually lifted it when he let go of his guilt or secret. Something for you to think about Travis." Replied Thor.

What secret? What guilt? I was lost. I sat down next to Wanda and she smiled at me.

"Why are you smiling at me like that?" I said.

"You're almost worthy that's impressive." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

We all got bored of drinking games so just started dancing around and taking shots, it was starting to get messy. Everyone was jumping and singing along to the music. I'd really missed this. All of us having a good time together.

Suddenly Natasha came in crying. I grabbed Wanda Maximoff and we take her into the lounge.

"What's wrong Natasha?" I said.

"I tried to tell... Harley Keener I liked him... and he said that he doesn't like me like that... he likes Maria." Replied Natasha.

Wanda Maximoff then went to get Carol Danvers and Jordan.

"I've got ice cream in the freezer, a box of tissues and a mean boy with our name on it. Come with me." I said.

I then took Natasha into the theater room before going to find Carol Danvers and Jordan.

"What happened?" Replied Carol Danvers.

"From the look of it Harley Keener was getting close to Natasha cause he likes Maria so you should probably go talk to her." I said angrily.

"I'm sorry Travis. I thought Harley Keener liked Natasha too." Replied Carol Danvers.

"Babe." Said Wanda Maximoff while taking my hand.

"Don't... Natasha is in the theater room with ice cream you go and sit with her while I explain what happened." I replied.

The music isn't playing anymore and everyone was in silence while looking at me.

"What happened?" Said Pepper Potts.

"Teen drama you know how it is. We'll be with Natasha in the theater room. Keep partying the bartenders are here until 1 so enjoy your night. I'm sorry about all of this." I replied.

Carol Danvers and Valkyrie then followed me out of the room. Seeing Natasha upset hurt a lot. I was so protective of her. Carol Danvers then hugged her.

"Why doesn't he like me?" Said Natasha.

"Look... sometimes, the people we like don't like us back, and it's painful, but there's nothing we can do about it." Replied Carol Danvers.

"You don't understand." Said Natasha.

"I do. I do understand. I know what it's like when someone doesn't feel the same way about you. It's... someone you can't stop thinking about. It hurts. But you can't make people like you." Replied Carol Danvers.

"I don't like him... I love him." Said Natasha.

"I know. But love isn't about grand gestures, or the moon and the stars. It's just dumb luck. And sometimes, you meet someone who feels the same way. And then sometimes you're unlucky. But one day, you're going to meet someone who appreciates you for who you are. I mean, there's seven billion people on the planet. I know one of them is going to climb up on a moon for you." Replied Carol Danvers.

Natasha then began to smile. As Valkyrie and Carol Danvers handled it. I took Wanda Maximoff's hand before leading us to the bedroom.

"I'm sorry Wanda. I shouldn't have snapped. It's not ok for me to snap at you like that. I'm just angry. Seeing our little girl like that really hurting I couldn't take it." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then wrapped her arms around my waist before kissing me long and passionately on the lips.

"It's ok Travis. It was actually kind of hot when you told Carol and Jordan off." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

I just rolled my eyes at her. "I love you Wanda. I just want our kids to find someone who loves them as much as we love each other. Someone who will never hurt them. I know Natasha is young but I never want her heart broken." I said.

"She will. I know it. So Harley Keener isn't the one for her. That's ok. She will find someone." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"I should probably go and apologize to Carol and Jordan." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

After the party Wanda Maximoff and I stayed to clean up.

"I'm proud of you for apologizing Travis. It's crazy to think you're the same person as that hot head that arrived at the Avengers headquarters." Replied Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me long and passionately on the lips.

"Thank you Wanda. But I really don't want to go back to the party. I'd much rather we had a early night." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then smiled before french kissing me hard and ferociously and took off my clothes. Wanda Maximoff then pushed me on the queen size bed before I started to remove her black bra and panties.
