Marvel: I am Wanda's Apprentice.

Chapter forty seven:

It's been two weeks since the party and everything is going smoothly with the school. We get the odd broken window or wall from training but nothing we can't handle. Natasha and Maria had been pretty inseparable same with the boys and Joseph Carter. Bucky Barnes still struggled to look at Joseph Carter and train him. I could see why there was so much about Steve Rodgers in him. It was nice getting to spend time as a family again when the kids were at regular school we hardly got any time together. Wanda Maximoff and I got a lot of quality time together too. Trying to keep her anniversary surprise from her was hard. I had banned Wanda from reading my mind and it was killing her. Especially when it came to our handling of the kids.

It was finally approaching our anniversary and I had told Wanda to pack for a weekend away for us and the kids. I didn't tell the kids either cause they have the biggest mouths. The others were going to cover our classes on Friday so as soon as school finished on Thursday we headed straight to the penthouse to pick up our bags and jumped on the jet.

"Ok babe if I'm flying the jet you're at least got to tell me where we are going." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Follow the navigator you don't need to know yet." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

Natasha and the boys weren't too happy about being dragged away from their friends but I think they are going to enjoy it. We approached the destination and Wanda's face lit up.

"Are you serious Travis?" Said Wanda Maximoff as we landed in London.

"Happy anniversary my love." I replied.

The kids seemed really excited now. It's 9pm London time when we check in but the kids and Wanda are too excited to sleep. We drop our bags off at the hotel before heading to Piccadilly Circus to get some dinner. The kids are dying to try Nando's so Wanda and I agreed it was very nice actually. I think the kids wanted to eat there to post it on their social media. After we ate we walked around the city.

The lights were so beautiful. The look on Wanda Maximoff's face walking around London as she held my hand made it worth it. When we got back to the hotel we were all tired and went to bed.

"I thought that I was the one for big romantic gestures." Said Wanda Maximoff while holding me in her arms.

"You haven't seen anything yet my love." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

The next morning we got up early to head into the city to make the most of the day. I had booked us onto a open bus tour in the morning. The kids spent the whole time taking as many photos as possible. I enjoyed watching Wanda Maximoff's reaction to all the building and the London skyline.

"You're staring Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"It's not my fault my wife is beautiful." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff gave me a quick kiss on the lips before taking it all in again. We were all so content as we sat down for lunch in a pub. The kids were showing us the pictures that they took and spoke excitedly about what they wanted to do this afternoon. Wanda Maximoff started to get emotional.

"You ok babe?" I said.

"I'm just so happy. Last time I was here was with my parents. They fought the whole time and it was just awful. You compare that to where I am now with my handsome husband and kids who are happy. It means a lot that's all." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

The kids gave her a hug as I held her hand. I can see why British people loved the pub. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is excellent. The kids decide on the London Eye for our destination after lunch. I wasn't the biggest fan of heights when I wasn't using my powers so Wanda sat down and held me the whole way around. We stood up for the photo in the capsule.

"I've got something to take your mind off it." I said.

I then pulled out a Pandora box out from my bag. Wanda Maximoff opened it and there was a beautiful bracelet inside with a knotted heart charm, her handsome husband charm, a forever and always charm. Wanda Maximoff then began to cry.

"I love you so much Travis Maximoff." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Happy anniversary." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

Wanda Maximoff then brought me for a hug.

"You will have to wait until tomorrow for your surprise Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You don't have to get me anything Wanda being here with you and our family is present enough. I know our anniversary is tomorrow I just wanted to make you feel better. I promised you I'd always make you feel safe." I said.

"Thank you Travis for always keeping your promise and for being a great dad to our kids." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Thank you for giving me the life I always dreamed of." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

Wanda Maximoff then held me the whole time until we got off the capsule. The kids and Wanda are big Harry Potter fans so I made sure to prebook us tickets and read all the books before we came here. They all looked confused when we got the train away from the centre of London until the announcer said please disembark the Harry Potter tour.

They all attacked me in a hug. We get on the bus to the studios and they're all so excited. Honestly I was too.

"Thank you for doing this for us." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Actually I read the books in secret when you were teaching the kids so it's for me too. I've had this planned for 5 months now." I replied.

"God I love you so much Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"After all this time?" I replied.

"Always." Said Wanda Maximoff.
