Precious, painful, beautiful, profound...

Various lost memories surged from her mind like a tidal wave.

She bent over in agony, clutching her hair with both hands. The energy within her body surged, and her entire form emitted a brilliant glow.

Firth looked up at Mike, confused and lost, even with a trace of fear, and said, "What did you do to me? What are all these things?"

If those memories were real, then she wasn't Firth at all. Her name was Carol Danvers. She wasn't a Kree; she was human—an Earthling—and had a grudge against the Kree...

Did that mean all these years she had sworn to protect, to fight for, and those friends and teammates in the Star Team, were all enemies who had once harmed her?

Her mind was in turmoil, the return of countless memories clashing with the memories of the past few years, intertwining in a way that left her utterly bewildered.

She lifted her head to look at Mike again, her face contorted with confusion as she struggled to speak, "What exactly did you do to me?"

Mike shrugged and said, "I just helped you remember your past."

"Past memories..."

Carol murmured, reflecting on the images flashing in her mind. The energy inside her surged more violently, and her hands became enveloped in dazzling light.

Seeing Carol in this state, feeling the energy emanating from her, Mike couldn't help but click his tongue.

This woman—no, this "rooster," was truly powerful. And this was only half of her strength, restrained as she was.

Carol, staring at Mike from a few steps away, asked with a complicated expression, "You really didn't do anything? Are all these my memories?"

She still couldn't bring herself to fully believe it.

If she had recalled these memories slowly, it would have been easier for her to accept. But suddenly remembering everything all at once only left her with doubts.

Doubts about herself, doubts about Mike.

Mike frowned and said, "If you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do about it."

Carol's body radiated with energy as she slowly moved toward Mike, her eyes fixed on his, trying to find any sign that he was lying.

Eventually, she sighed, about to thank him when...

"Boom!"

With a loud crash, she was instantly thrown out of her spot, as if someone had pushed her.

Boom...

In the midst of the deafening noise, she was slammed to the ground, leaving a trail of destruction as she skidded for dozens of meters, a dirt mound piling up behind her.

Dazed, she quickly recovered, her training kicking in as she immediately retaliated, launching a photon energy blast from her glowing hands.

The person holding her was pushed backward, but still maintained their grip on her.

She opened her eyes and saw a young, childlike face glaring at her with anger.

For a moment, she froze. Then she saw a dangerous red glow in the child's eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat. Her energy surged, and with a powerful thrust of her hands, she broke free from the dirt mound and escaped his hold like a rocket.

But in the next instant, the child clenched his fist and descended from above.

"Boom!"

A punch struck the ground, sending shockwaves through the earth and hurling mud in all directions like a torrential downpour.

Carol paused for a moment, but she had no time to rise. As the boy looked at her again, she coldly snorted, spat out the dirt in her mouth, blew her messy hair out of her face, then clenched her fist and struck back at him.

"Boom!"

Her fist slammed into the boy's chest, but he didn't budge an inch.

Carol's head collided with his chin.

"Boom!"

A deafening explosion rang out as light-like energy scattered in all directions.

But the boy merely tilted his head slightly before ferociously slamming his head into hers.

"Boom!"

Carol was knocked to the ground. As the boy's punch came down, she pushed herself away with a photon energy blast, quickly getting back to her feet. Wiping her nose, she looked at the blue blood between her fingers, her body's energy flaring up once more.

She was angry. She was about to go all out. She no longer cared if the opponent was just a child...

At that moment, Mike suddenly appeared between the two of them and shouted, "Stop!"

Clark lowered his fist, but Carol let out a cold snort, glaring at him like a child who had just lost a fight.

Mike rubbed his aching head with one hand, silently putting away a card.

He had just appeared, genuinely worried that the two wouldn't hold back and would end up punching him, rendering him useless.

Thankfully, they controlled their power well.

"What's going on?"

Mike looked at Clark.

Clark stared coldly at Carol and asked, confused, "Dad, wasn't she just threatening you, about to hit you?"

Just moments ago, Carol had been radiating terrifying energy and was closing in on Mike.

The three of them fell into a brief silence.

It certainly seemed like she had been ready to fight Mike...

Mike's eye twitched. He turned to Carol and said, "Uh, the kid misunderstood."

Carol took a deep breath, trying to regain control of her face, which was on the verge of losing it. She snorted coldly, then glanced at Clark and asked, "Your son?"

Mike nodded.

Carol hesitated, then commented, "Impressive."

Clark felt uneasy.

Do they know each other? Could this woman be his dad's old acquaintance?

If that's the case, this could get messy.

Could he accidentally end up losing his future mother?

Mike glanced at Clark and noticed the constant shifts in his expression. Annoyed, he said, "Don't overthink it."

Clark froze for a moment, then let out a disappointed yet relieved sigh.

"Hey! Are you all okay?"

Nick Fury ran over.

"We're fine!"

Carol said curtly.

After Clark's headbutt, she snapped out of her confusion, and her memories were no longer jumbled.

She looked at Mike and said, "Thanks."

Mike nodded, holding up a hand to stop Clark, and said, "If you don't mind, come by the house."

It wouldn't be polite to have his son send someone off after just having fought them.

Carol and Nick Fury nodded, and the four of them headed towards Mike's home.

"What about those two?"

Mike whispered.

Clark thought for a moment and said, "They should be here soon."

Mike nodded.

"Uh, Mike, this kid..."

"Oh, he just has a lot of strength."

Mike said casually.

A lot of strength? That was an understatement, especially considering his terrifying speed...

Nick Fury glanced at Clark but noticed Mike giving him a cold stare. He shivered and awkwardly smiled.

"Fury, I warn you, keep Clark's matter to yourself!"

Mike's tone was chilling, and a hint of murderous intent lingered in the air.

Nick Fury nodded solemnly, "I understand. He's still just a kid."

Mike gave him a deep, meaningful look, before glancing at Erik and Charles, who were running over, both with tense expressions. He smiled.

"Dad, are you okay? Were they causing trouble?"

Erik glared at Fury and the others, while Charles's eyes lit up slightly.

Mike rubbed their heads and said, "It's fine, just a misunderstanding. Let's go home!"

"Okay!"

They both responded obediently, and the four of them walked home together.

As Fury followed behind them, an idea suddenly surged in his mind.

Could these two kids...

He recalled Clark's earlier actions and Mike's abilities.

He gasped in shock.

If that's the case... this family is terrifying!
