All eyes were on the newcomer, Tony Stark.

Nick Fury felt a deep satisfaction seeing the shock on Tony's face.

God only knew how much energy he had spent and how many favors he had traded to assemble this alliance.

Yet seeing even a seasoned playboy like Tony stunned made all the hardship feel worthwhile.

Fury said confidently to Tony, "Join us, Tony." He believed that with Tony's talent and strength, he would be an invaluable asset to the Avengers.

At that moment, Fury was certain Tony would accept.

Tony admitted he was taken aback by the Avengers' presence at first, but he quickly composed himself.

"This is your Superboy team?" he said, his tone dripping with mockery and disdain.

Ignoring Fury's probing gaze, Tony strode toward Steve Rogers—Captain America.

Slowly, deliberately, he said, "I didn't expect an old relic like you to still be alive."

Steve looked at Tony with a measured expression. "I knew your father, Howard. He was a good man."

He extended his hand for a handshake, but Tony brushed past without acknowledgment.

Next, Tony's gaze landed on a bald man sitting in a wheelchair.

Approaching him, Tony smiled with a hint of challenge. "And what's this gentleman's name? S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't even let the elderly retire these days."

Though teasing, Tony's eyes were sharp and serious.

Something about the man unsettled him — an instinct telling him this was the greatest threat in the room. His gaze seemed to pierce straight through people's souls.

The bald man didn't immediately answer. Instead, he met Tony's stare with equal intensity.

Tony felt an uncomfortable chill, as if his thoughts were being laid bare.

He held his ground, locking eyes with the man.

"You can call me Charles or Professor X," the man said, his smile calm and knowing. "Don't worry, I'm just an unarmed old man. I'm no threat to you."

Charles Xavier's gaze seemed to see right through Tony's mind.

Tony instantly recognized him as the leader of the mutants — one of the most powerful telepaths alive.

Hearing about Professor X's mind-reading abilities, Tony made a mental note: next time, he'd build a battle armor capable of blocking psychic intrusion.

Just then, a man in a blue uniform approached Tony with a friendly smile.

"Hello, I'm Reed Richards. It's good to see you again, Mr. Stark."

Reed Richards was Mr. Fantastic and captain of the Fantastic Four.

During a space mission, cosmic rays had altered his molecular structure, giving him the ability to stretch and reshape his body at will.

The other Fantastic Four members included:

Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, who could turn invisible, fly, and emit energy waves that created protective shields.

Ben Grimm, the Thing, who was incredibly strong and tough, serving as the team's steadfast powerhouse.

Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, Susan's younger brother, who could engulf his body in flames and fly. At peak heat, his body temperature could rival a supernova.

Tony glanced at Richards with a superior smirk. Despite being highly intelligent, Richards felt frustrated by Tony's condescending attitude—but kept his composure.

"I know you," Tony said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Your reputation is well-known in the investment world."

Richards initially took it as a compliment, ready to respond humbly—until Tony continued:

"Every project you touch loses money. In our industry, that makes you the worst offender."

Tony laughed. "In a way, that's genius. How do you manage to lose money on every project? You're a real innovator."

Tony, ever the villain in his own mind, looked down on Richards as a hypocrite—smart but using crooked methods.

Richards' smile froze, but he maintained his gentlemanly mask. Inside, he was plotting how to make Tony regret those words.

Suddenly, Johnny Storm's body ignited with flames, his temper flaring at Tony's mockery.

But Susan Storm's sharp glare stopped him cold.

Tony seized the moment to taunt the Human Torch again. "Hey, hotshot, is Captain America your dad? No wonder you look so much alike."

Susan's eyes flashed with anger at Tony's rudeness.

Even the usually calm Steve Rogers scowled at Tony, unable to tolerate insults toward his teammates.

The atmosphere in the room thickened, tense as a powder keg.

"Enough, Tony," Nick Fury finally spoke. "Will you join us or not?"

Tony didn't hesitate.

"No. I'm not interested in your Superboy band. And make sure you send me my father's belongings."

Then he turned and walked out of the Avengers' meeting room.

Tony refused so bluntly because he already knew Fury's first target in assembling this Avengers team was Alex Ray in Hell's Kitchen.

Without realizing it, Tony's loyalties had already shifted toward Alex Ray's side.

At that moment, Tony wondered if Alex Ray's camp could truly defeat the Avengers.

He dismissed ordinary members like Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff—they were no threat to Alex's killers.

As for the Fantastic Four, Tony declared he would personally handle Mr. Fantastic, though he wasn't sure why he despised him so much.

The rest, Tony thought, could be dealt with by Deadpool and Alex's ally nearby.

In Tony's mind, he had run countless battle simulations—and every time, Alex Ray's side emerged victorious.

That gave him a small measure of comfort, a glimpse of dawn breaking over the horizon.

What Tony didn't know was that an even more powerful force was hidden within the Avengers—Captain Marvel.

Tony was about to share the news about the Avengers with Alex when his phone rang.

"Hey, Alex," Tony said. "I was just looking for you."

On the other end, Alex Ray sounded surprised. "What a coincidence. I was about to call you with some good news—and some bad."

Tony, who hated riddles and mysteries, was curious about the good news.

"Go ahead. What's the good news?"

Alex's tone suddenly turned serious. "The good news is, I found the murderer who killed your parents."

Tony's heart skipped. His hand trembled, barely steadying the phone.

His eyes widened in shock. "What? How is that possible? I thought my parents died in a car accident."

The revelation was too much. For years, Tony had believed his parents were victims of a tragic accident. If Alex was right, the real killer had been free for over two decades—and Tony had been blind to the truth.

Desperate for details, Tony felt he needed to hear the whole story in person.

"Wait for me. I'll be there soon."

He ended the call, heart pounding as he prepared to face what lay ahead.

"The story truly takes off after the gang war arc—around chapter 100—and evolves into something incredible."

As the plot unfolds, it dives deep into the Spider-Verse, Avengers War and the Marvel Multiverse, weaving in epic elements from Endgame, God of Stories Loki, Kang the Conqueror, the Council of Kangs, the Council of Reeds, and even Franklin Richards.

Expect mind-bending twists with Deadpool breaking the fourth wall, going on a rampage that includes killing everyone... even the authors themselves.
