Tony saw that Steve Rogers—Captain America—refused to hand over Bucky's body.

He had asked J.A.R.V.I.S. to uncover the whole truth, and when he found out that Steve and Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, were close friends, his good impression of Captain America dropped to zero. In Tony's eyes, Steve wasn't a good person.

Tony believed Captain America knew the truth but chose to cover for Bucky. That realization made him furious and disappointed; he simply couldn't accept it.

The heroic image of Captain America in his mind shattered, replaced by a selfish man protecting his friend.

Despite his anger, Tony understood SHIELD wasn't something Steve could decide alone, so he didn't waste time arguing with him.

Right now, all he wanted was to find Nick Fury and demand the body of the Winter Soldier.

He planned to take Bucky's body to his parents' grave and offer their souls some comfort in the afterlife.

He knew it wouldn't change anything—but it was all he could do now, the only way he could find some peace.

Thinking this, Tony activated his armor and prepared to launch into the sky. He had no intention of taking the elevator—he wanted to complete this mission quickly.

Even though he knew this would be seen as a provocation by SHIELD, Tony didn't care.

No matter what, he would take Bucky's body away today—no one, not even Jesus, could stop him.

He wanted to bring that body back to his parents' grave and show them their son, Tony Stark, had avenged them.

Steve was confused. He had originally planned to head to Hell's Kitchen to find the man and avenge Bucky.

But just as he stepped out, he saw Tony's angry face demanding Bucky's body.

Steve was so enraged moments ago he hadn't even considered collecting Bucky's remains.

Hearing Tony's roar now, Steve snapped back to reality.

But he couldn't understand why Tony was so furious.

Tony even threatened to take Bucky's body away.

From Tony's attitude, it seemed he wasn't planning a proper burial.

Steve couldn't fathom what grudge Tony and Bucky might have, or whether Bucky had killed Tony's entire family.

That didn't make sense to him. He knew Bucky—he wasn't that bad.

But this version of Tony felt strange.

His eyes burned with anger and determination, as if ready to devour Steve.

Steve didn't understand what had transformed Tony like this.

But as Bucky's closest friend, Steve refused to let anyone else take Bucky's body.

No matter Tony's motives, only Steve could bury Bucky.

So, as Tony prepared to leave, Steve threw his shield without hesitation.

He hoped to stop Tony, or at least buy time to think and find a solution.

Steve's shield traced a graceful arc through the air, flying straight toward Tony.

Caught off guard, Tony took the shield square in the chest and was knocked heavily to the ground.

He hadn't expected to be taken down and had ignored Captain America until now.

To his surprise, Steve was still determined to stop him.

"Are you sure you want to stop me?" Tony asked, his voice deep and cold, eyes flashing.

Steve holstered his shield and replied firmly, "Yes. If you leave now, I'll pretend nothing happened. But if you insist on taking Bucky's body, you'll have to step over me first."

Tony laughed bitterly.

At first, he only wanted to retrieve Bucky's body. He didn't want to fight the Avengers. He hadn't expected Captain America to be so stubborn. Now, he showed no mercy.

"Fine, then. I'll send you to hell to meet your good friend Bucky," Tony sneered.

He quickly adjusted his armor and fired fiercely at Steve.

The fight escalated rapidly, the sounds echoing through the quiet SHIELD facility and quickly drawing the attention of agents.

"What the hell? Why is Iron Man fighting at the entrance?" an agent exclaimed, startled.

He had been sorting documents and never expected such an intense battle.

"The guy fighting him looks familiar. Is that Captain America?" another agent widened his eyes, trying to get a clearer look.

Only a few agents knew Captain America had awakened from the ice, so most didn't recognize him.

"Damn, it's true. We need to tell Director Fury immediately," a sharp-eyed agent said, spotting the star on Steve's chest.

He turned and ran to find Nick Fury.

"Should we intervene?" asked another agent, watching the chaos.

Though a SHIELD member, he felt overwhelmed by the fight.

"Help? Iron Man versus Captain America? Who here could beat either of them?" another agent scoffed.

They all knew this wasn't a battle for them to interfere in.

"Yeah, if the sky falls, we've got Director Fury to back us up. We might as well watch the show," an agent shrugged, deciding to stay out of it.

He figured it was safer to avoid trouble.

"Who do you think will win, Captain America or Iron Man?" a curious agent asked.

Many wanted to know.

"I'm with Captain America. He's my childhood idol," a young agent said without hesitation.

"I think Iron Man will win. Cap's old, still using that busted shield. This is the era of advanced weapons," another agent disagreed.

He felt Iron Man's tech and combat skills far surpassed Captain America's.

"Enough arguing. Let's just watch quietly. Director Fury won't let this fight go on long," an older agent said loudly.

Meanwhile, in his office, Nick Fury—the director investigating whether Bucky's death was a conspiracy—heard the reports.

What?

Steve and Tony are fighting?

How is this possible? Why?

Did Tony discover something?

Fury frowned deeply and walked toward the elevator, his expression heavy.
