Chapter 213: Chapter 213: Cosmic Tapeworm

Compared to the vastness of the alternate dimension, this tapeworm was tiny. From a high vantage point, it appeared as nothing more than a thin "line" rapidly sliding over the food below.

Though the amount it consumed each time was small, its speed made up for it. In just a few minutes, Wanda watched as the tapeworm devoured the fingertip of a massive dragon.

"Even if it's just a fingertip, for such a small tapeworm, this speed is utterly terrifying."

Wanda mused. She was well aware of Galacta's identity—an exceptionally powerful lesser deity, and the daughter of the cosmic entity known as Galactus, one of the five primordial deities of creation. His strength was immeasurable.

To beings of such a caliber, the affairs of Earth were nothing more than skirmishes between ants, hardly worth their attention.

For the daughter of an ancient god to have a tapeworm with such an insatiable appetite inside her—was this something implanted artificially, or was there another reason behind it?

"How is it, Wanda? Do you have a way to deal with it?" Galacta asked anxiously.

Because of this monstrous tapeworm, she constantly felt the urge to eat, and when she did, she could devour an entire planet in one sitting. In this regard, she was no different from her father.

Wanda recalled the spells she knew, then nodded and said, "There is a way. Are you sure you want to go through with it?"

Galacta nodded firmly. "I'm sure!"

Seeing her determination, Wanda took a deep breath and said, "Alright, give me a moment. I need to confirm the spell and the hand seals."

She narrowed her eyes, sitting cross-legged on the carpet, her lips moving slightly as she whispered incantations in a language obscure and difficult to comprehend.

Soon, Wanda opened her eyes again and said, "I'm ready. Let's begin."

Galacta nodded excitedly. She had finally found a capable sorceress willing to help her.

"The spell I'm using is called Gu Ji El. It's an extremely aggressive magic. In a moment, I will enter the alternate dimension inside your body in a spiritual state. Do not resist, or it could harm me," Wanda explained.

Galacta obediently nodded. Right now, Wanda was her only hope—the first person brave enough to attempt removing the tapeworm.

Other sorcerers either lacked the power or couldn't even locate the parasite. Fortunately, Galacta wasn't a tyrant; otherwise, she might have simply wiped out a dozen of these useless spellcasters in frustration.

As Wanda prepared to begin, she closed her eyes, and a soft golden mist began to emanate from her body. It gathered above her head, forming into a small humanoid figure, just over three feet tall, radiating golden light.

This figure was a manifestation of her spiritual energy, not the spell itself.

She had seen Han Yu use spiritual energy in combat before. He had once told her that certain spells, when cast using spiritual energy as a medium, could bypass most physical attacks and defenses while directly inflicting damage to the target's mind.

Physical wounds could be healed, but injuries to the spirit were far more difficult to recover from.

Even Earth's superheroes, no matter how fierce their battles, were still just humans on a spiritual level. The slightest damage to their souls could drive them insane.

With Wanda's level of spiritual energy—though nowhere near Han Yu's—shattering a person's soul was an effortless feat.

Watching the golden "Wanda," Galacta was filled with curiosity, her large eyes blinking in fascination.

The tiny figure had indistinct facial features, but a faint smile was visible. It took a step forward and floated gently toward Galacta.

Even though she had requested this, Galacta still felt a bit uneasy. After all, she had never seen anyone perform such magic before.

For her, most forms of attack involved channeling energy into weapons or her own body, a technique already considered highly advanced.

After all, in the Marvel Universe, most beings used objects to channel energy. Ordinary people relied on technology, like Iron Man's suit, while even stronger beings, like Thor, originally needed Mjolnir to wield their power.

Thanks to Han Yu's guidance, Thor had finally become the true God of Thunder, rather than just the God of Hammers.

Wanda's technique was heavily influenced by Han Yu's style, which felt like something out of a fantasy novel—flashy, effortless, and exuding the aura of a grandmaster. Who wouldn't want to fight like that?

Galacta, who had been nervous a moment ago, suddenly felt a wave of warmth as soon as "Wanda" touched her body, instantly dispelling any resistance she might have had.

Since Wanda had never truly experienced large-scale wars, despite her immense potential and magical prowess, she was still just a pure-hearted girl. Her magic carried no malice, no killing intent—naturally, Galacta felt no hostility toward it.
