Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Galacta’s Request

"Wow, you're a Sorcerer Supreme apprentice? That's amazing! You must know a lot of magic! Can you teach me?" Galacta exclaimed excitedly.

"I've always been interested in the magic of the universe, but I could never find the right person to teach me. Those old folks always talk about boring stuff. But you became a Sorcerer Supreme at such a young age—you must be incredible!"

"Teaching you? That's no problem at all. But I'll be strict. Many people where I come from can't even master the Lock of Gormona—"

As Wanda spoke, she suddenly realized she had mentioned a term only known to the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj. If others weren't familiar with it, it might come across as showing off.

Just as she was about to explain, Galacta became even more excited. "The Lock of Gormona—I know that one!"

"That spell is considered mid-to-high level in the magical world. Many sorcerers spend their entire lives trying to master it and still fail. The only two sorcerers I know who can use it are both over a thousand years old! And yet, you've already mastered it at your age. Wanda, you have to teach me!"

Galacta's eyes sparkled with excitement, leaving Han Yu and the others increasingly confused about where this conversation was headed.

Han Yu hadn't expected a full-on rivalry, but shouldn't there at least be some tension, some subtle jabs back and forth? Instead, Galacta was calling Wanda "sister"—despite being thousands of years old, old enough to be the ancestor of countless human generations. And now, instead of trading insults, they were diving into magical theory. This whole situation was baffling.

Seeing that Galacta knew about the Lock of Gormona, Wanda, who had initially harbored a bit of resentment, suddenly felt at ease. She smiled and said, "That's right. Even in the Sanctum Sanctorum, it's considered an advanced spell. It took me five days and nights of studying the book on the Lock of Gormona before I could finally perform it on the sixth day. It was incredibly difficult."

"Amazing, amazing! Teach me!" Galacta grabbed Wanda's hands eagerly.

"No problem. That depends on your comprehension ability," Wanda replied.

Kamar-Taj didn't have strict rules against teaching advanced magic to outsiders. As long as one had the capability, they were allowed to read the books. However, the Ancient One rarely gave access to such knowledge.

Most people simply didn't have the magical energy to wield such powerful spells. If they tried to force it, they would burn through their magic reserves and start consuming their own life force. Some particularly volatile spells could even backfire on the caster.

For the vast majority, it was nothing short of suicidal.

Only a rare genius like Wanda—who possessed Chaos Magic with an endless well of power—could be trusted with such knowledge.

Chaos Magic was a sentient magic; it could protect its wielder from external harm. That's why the Ancient One had no concerns about Wanda suffering magical backlash. She could read whatever she wanted.

"Let's talk in my room. This isn't the best place," Galacta suggested, glancing at Han Yu and the others. "You can even stay with me tonight—we can chat more."

"Sounds good," Wanda nodded without hesitation. She rarely had friends her age. Though Galacta wasn't technically the same age, she appeared close enough and was easy to get along with, which left Wanda with a favorable impression.

"Wait, so you're staying with her tonight? What about me? We haven't seen each other in a long time…" Han Yu hesitated, sounding a little unsure.

Wanda turned her head, her eyes curving into a sly arc. She let out a soft scoff, pulled Galacta along, and walked away, casually remarking, "Aren't you good at finding girls? Go find another one."

As Wanda walked farther away, clearly not joking, Quicksilver stepped up. He glanced at the doorway, then at Han Yu, patted his shoulder lightly, let out a sigh, and shook his head before returning to his computer to continue his game.

Han Yu stared at the door, feeling as if an arrow had struck his knee. With a bitter expression, he muttered, "I swear I didn't go looking for her… she literally fell from the sky."

Inside Galacta's room, the two of them sat on cushions on the floor with the lights turned off.

Wanda held her hands palm-up, a faint glow flickering in the air between them as she explained some key points about magic.

"Wanda, is there any magic with strong offensive power and precise targeting?" Galacta asked.

"Strong offense and precision? There are a few. But why do you want to learn that? Your own attack power isn't exactly weak, is it?" Wanda asked, a little puzzled.

As the Sorcerer Supreme's successor, she had taken time to study beings like Galacta—cosmic deities who were classified as "Universal-Level Singularities." These were entities powerful enough to influence entire universes.

The Ancient One had once told her that beings at this level could destroy a planet with a mere flick of their fingers. Even if Earth exhausted all its might, it wouldn't stand a chance against a single Universal-Level deity.

That was why Wanda found it odd. Battles between such beings were rare, and the chances of encountering one were even lower. The universe was far vaster than what human technology could detect, and finding a Universal-Level entity was like trying to retrieve a needle lost in the ocean—practically impossible.

Not to mention, Galacta was capable of devouring stars. Why would she need offensive magic? Wouldn't she be better off learning something more flashy and entertaining?

"Wanda, I don't mind telling you… I have a parasite inside me," Galacta admitted. "The reason I can't control my appetite and have to keep eating is because of this parasite. If I don't consume food for a certain period, it goes wild, and my life would be in danger."

"Seriously? Can I take a look?" Wanda asked skeptically.

"You can… but how exactly do you plan to see it—"

Before Galacta could finish, Wanda formed an intricate hand seal, and the next moment, her eyes glowed faintly.

"There really is something!"

Wanda let out a low exclamation. Through her magical sight, she saw a snow-white parasite inside Galacta's body. It was about four or five meters long—a massive size by normal standards—but within Galacta's vast internal structure, it was barely a speck.

If one were to scan Galacta's body using X-rays, she would appear no different from an ordinary person. But the fact that she could swallow dragons and entire planets… if her internal structure were the same as a human's, that thought alone was truly terrifying.

What Wanda actually saw was an extradimensional space within Galacta's body. Everything she consumed was transported there, broken down, and converted into energy that sustained her.

Inside this internal dimension, Wanda spotted the tiny, silkworm-like white parasite devouring matter at an astonishing speed.
