Chapter 150: Hunting Planet
"Master, a spaceship has entered the atmosphere," Monday reported.
"Can you track the signal?" George asked.
"No, the enemy ship activated its cloaking device. It was on radar one second and gone the next," Monday replied.
"Leave it to me," George said with a smile.
In a mountain forest near the Mexico-U.S. border, a spaceship lay tilted, smoke rising from its damaged hull.
George stood beside the wreckage, his sharp senses scanning the terrain. Finding no trace of the Predator, he stored the spaceship in his Chaos Space and spread his perception further.
Soon, a small single-person spacecraft appeared in George's mental map. In the next moment, he was already on top of it.
George raised his handgun and fired two precise shots, destroying the spacecraft's thrusters. Black smoke erupted as it spiraled down into a forest.
The hatch burst open. A two-meter-tall Predator, limping and bleeding green from its thigh, emerged.
George gave no chance for retaliation. Raising his Rhino handgun, he fired five rapid shots.
"Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!"
The Predator's skull exploded under the barrage.
George stepped forward and collected the small craft, extracting equipment from the Predator's body. His mind was elsewhere (the tech held more value).
Three human soldiers crept toward the crash site, hidden by cloaking suits.
They were part of a special operations rescue team. George's intervention had unknowingly saved their lives. In the original timeline, only team captain McKenna survived; the other two were slaughtered by the Predator.
Without meeting them, George vanished, leaving the corpse. It held no further value.
In the New Mexico desert, a high-tech military tent from the Starship Troopers Plane stood near a secluded oasis.
Inside, the Predator's helmet connected to a portable terminal, lines of alien code scrolling rapidly.
"Ding!"
"Master, the data has been parsed. You can now switch language modes," Monday informed.
"Very good. Open the signal generator," George ordered.
"Yes, Master."
After acquiring the equipment, George had come here with a purpose: to bait the Ultimate Predator.
The reason was strategic (George needed their tech for reverse-engineering, useful not just for Earth but especially for his long-term development plans on the tech-starved Ancient Star). In a place where he had to rebuild civilization from scratch, advanced alien hardware was invaluable.
The Predator Empire was fracturing. As Earth's climate shifted, some Predators saw it as prime real estate, pushing for occupation. Others (traditionalists) wanted to preserve humans as prized prey.
To halt the occupation, the latter group had stolen a critical item and fled to Earth, only to be hunted down. That stolen asset now rested securely in George's hands.
George deployed the stolen Predator ship and retrieved a cryo-pod. The embedded defense system ensured its ejection if the ship was destroyed, smart design.
Though the delivery Predator had good intentions from their perspective, to George it was a shallow gesture (mere crumbs tossed to preserve their hunting rights). He had no guilt in eliminating them.
The next day, Monday reported another atmospheric breach.
George sensed the ship immediately, its cloaking useless against his perception.
A grey warship appeared overhead, landing gently. From its belly, a towering three-meter Ultimate Predator emerged.
According to parsed data, this was no ordinary hunter. These genetically enhanced weapons, bred by Super Predators, possessed superior strength, agility, and a hardened exoskeleton (apex killing machines).
The Ultimate Predator began to speak, but George vanished in an instant.
Energy chains erupted from hidden underground runes, coiling around the Predator like vipers. He struggled, snarling to no effect.
From the shadows, George fired a modified gun. The bullet shattered on impact, releasing a freezing cloud that encased the Predator in solid ice.
Frozen and inert, the biological weapon was sealed inside the cryo-pod and returned to Chaos Space.
Now fluent in the Predator Empire's OS thanks to Monday, George took full control of the captured ship.
George erased all signs of his presence, launched his fast-attack vessel and soared into orbit.
Inside his orbiting base, George began cataloging the acquired tech.
"Monday, send this data packet to that country," he instructed, transmitting selected technologies.
"Yes, Master."
"Has the star map been copied?"
"It has. Ready to input target coordinates."
George gazed at the stars ahead (the hunt was only beginning).
George opened the star map and clicked on a Hunting Planet marked on it. Instantly, information about this Planet appeared before George.
"Indeed, it's here," George said with a smile.
"Monday, set the flight target to Planet Y1101," George commanded.
"Yes, Master. Setting target to Planet Y1101. Estimated flight time: one month."
The spaceship started, and George looked back at the increasingly distant Earth. He could only help this much. Instead of sending the technology solely to any single Country, George had delivered several slightly advanced but upgradable technologies to the United Nations of Earth.
These included solutions for the global warming crisis and blueprints for interstellar battleships. To ensure full transparency and accessibility, he had also made this information publicly available. How humanity progressed from here was no longer George's concern.
He sat in the control room, playing with a nano-device in his hand. This device was the item he obtained from the cryo-pod of the previous Predator's spaceship (the "Anti-Ultimate Predator Equipment") intended for human use against the Occupying Predator race.
After his analysis, the nano-device revealed not only mechanical technology but also advanced biotechnology.
Ordinary Predator equipment already possessed brainwave control technology, a testament to the Predator Empire's advanced capabilities.
Having seen depictions of such technology and creatures in fictional Earth media, George knew not to underestimate them, though the real ones were far more terrifying.
In other timelines, this cryopod sometimes contained a human female, which would have saved him another trip. Still, George was intrigued by the device and planned to study it thoroughly during the journey.
One month later, the spaceship descended upon Planet Y1101. George put away a wristband from the experimental table and stepped into the control room, where pyramids dotted the planet's surface.
Three minutes later, he stood in front of one such pyramid, releasing dozens of mechs with a wave. He then tapped the wristband on his wrist.
Nano-robots surged from the wristband like mercury, weaving over George's skin until he stood encased in a sleek, obsidian-black suit of armor.
He hadn't altered the armor's overall look much (just removed the small braids on the head). When time permitted, he planned to model mechs after the games of his previous life.
As he entered the pyramid, its mechanisms began to activate slowly. With a full map displayed, he led the mech force deeper into the ancient structure.
At a crossroads, rapid flashes darted around them.
"They're here!" Ion cannons deployed instantly.
"Biubiu!"
Despite the speed of the monsters in the dark, George regarded them as mere lambs to the slaughter. He tested out the armor's weapons, then retracted them, directing the Raiders' mechs to destroy the prey.
A black monster fell from the ceiling but was spotted early. Four mechs opened fire, and it crashed at George's feet.
This creature had a streamlined head and was sheathed in a black carapace. Normal bullets wouldn't scratch it.
It was George's target (and the Predator's ultimate nemesis): the Alien.
These creatures, known in ancient sci-fi as Xenomorphs, were far deadlier in real life than fiction ever imagined.
They could parasitize any organism and evolve with terrifying efficiency. Agile, stealthy, and armed with perfect structural design and brutal power, they were nightmares incarnate.
However, this environment stifled their effectiveness. And with George present, it was a slaughter.
As he advanced, waves of Aliens fell. Deep underground, the roar of the Alien Queen echoed louder. George accelerated and reached her chamber, flanked by his mech guards.
Aliens operated in a matriarchal structure. The Queen was their supreme leader, capable of commanding all others.
She was immense (4.5 meters tall) with a fan-shaped helmet-like crest behind her skull. Her head could retract into it, providing added defense.
Because of this structure, she couldn't stand upright and instead had a T. rex posture. Two auxiliary limbs protruded from her neck region. All her limbs were currently bound by thick chains.
From her rear extended a massive ovipositor. George knew she could lay hundreds of eggs at once (an unparalleled reproductive engine).
He ordered the mechs to destroy all facehugger eggs. Several hatched mid-operation, only to be shredded by turret fire before they could leap.
The Queen shrieked and thrashed. Acidic blood streamed down, slowly corroding her bindings.
When the floor was cleared, George directed a mech to collect a relatively intact facehugger corpse and store it in a cryo-pod.
He then extracted tissue samples from the Queen herself before exiting the pyramid, her unrelenting screams trailing him.
No other Predators appeared. Once everything (including the fast attack ship) was safely secured in Chaos Space, George vanished from the pyramid's apex.
Back on Ancient Star, George split his efforts: accelerating Satellite No. 2's transformation while beginning cloning and breeding trials.
Half a month later, the facehuggers were successfully bred. George stared across the lab at the tiny Zerg Queen, no larger than a puppy, eyes filled with anticipation.
He didn't just want to study these creatures (he planned to understand, control, and one day weaponize their terrifying potential).
From the moment the facehugger was successfully cloned, George imprinted it in its mind, ensuring its loyalty.
George released the frozen Ultimate Predator from the cryo-pod, and then, under George's control, the facehugger completed its parasitism.
After the facehugger's corpse fell off the Ultimate Predator's face, George transferred the Predator lying on the experimental table to a laboratory prepared in advance on Satellite No. 2.
Under George's perception, an Alien larva rapidly evolved by absorbing nutrients from the Ultimate Predator. A day later, the Ultimate Predator's chest began to heave violently.
Then, with a "splat," the Predator's chest burst open from within, and its four-lobed mouthparts bloomed like a wicked flower amidst piercing screams.
The Alien that emerged from the Predator's body rapidly grew and developed. Its appearance was peculiar: the main part of its body resembled a Predator, its tailbone was like a flail covered with steel spikes, and its mouthparts were also very special, indicating it possessed many Predator genes.
Its most peculiar appearance was the segmented, hair-like tendrils, similar to the Predator's hair.
"Quiet!" George commanded through his mental power.
Receiving George's command, the newly born Predator Alien immediately quieted down.
It slowly approached George, prostrating itself at George's feet, and constantly touched George's hand with its armor-covered head.
George sensed the imprint in the new Predator Alien's mind and found it to be very firm. George was still not at ease, so he left a master-servant contract in the Alien's mind.
"Alright, from now on, you'll be called Pandora. You will become the enemy's nightmare," George said, patting Pandora's head.
Then, George took out two Predator Hounds he had found earlier in the Predator's spaceship from his Chaos Space.
The moment Pandora saw the Predator Hounds, she let out a hiss, then, with George's tacit approval, she directly pounced on the hounds and injected larvae.
George waited until all the Aliens inside the two hounds had hatched, and after confirming that he could also control the newly born Aliens, he contentedly allowed Pandora and the six Aliens to leave the laboratory and find a place to build a nest.
However, George gave Pandora the order not to expand her population. There were no parasitic organisms on Satellite No. 2 that she could use to expand her population right now.
George planned to let Pandora try to parasitize the Zerg after the Zerg Queen was cloned, to experiment if a more excellent Alien creature could be bred.
George now had three armed forces: a Super Soldier troop composed mainly of humans, a robot troop, and the soon-to-be-formed Alien-Zerg troop. In the future, George would not worry about facing any number of low-level combat forces.
However, before that, George still needed to consider finding some food for his biological troops; otherwise, relying on George to feed them himself was unrealistic, and the Planet was indeed a bit too deserted.
