Legendary Beast Master: Starting with Contracting SSS Rank Dragon

Chapter 107: Grind

One thing that Kael was proud about himself was his control over energy and it was something that came from his sheer hard work alone.

Kael wasn't so conceited to believe that everything on him was because of his hard work. Most of his current powers came from Evolution and through luck.

Given he had to endure the worst kind of torture for three years, it still was through luck that he stumbled upon it and managed to get these powers.

But his control over energy was something he had achieved himself and he could say he was second to none back on earth at that.

This was why he was trying to find problems on other aspects rather than his own Mana control. He didn't think he would make mistakes on such a low scale experiment.

[You are right, Master. I anylazed your situation and it is indeed a problem with Mana Circulation rather than your Mana control.]

Kael facepalmed hearing her.

[Huh? Did I say something wrong?]

'No, I just forgot I actually have an assistant in my head.' Kael shook his head in disappointment and asked. 'Tell me in detail.'

[O-Oh! Alright. So as you know, the pathways through which the mana circulates is in a special state where they interact both with the Soul and also Ether Body.]

'I know that much.'

[Yes. I meant, that since they are connected with the Ether body, they always get affected when you love. It is true you need to focus on the threads but it also ends up in you ignoring the pathways. When you move, they also shift slightly, affecting the mana slightly.] This tеxt wаs асquirеd frоm М|V|L0ЕМРYR.

'I see.'

Kael understood her words and once again sat down on the branch, 'Then, you should keep an eye on the pathways and tell me where I'm going wrong. I'll improve.'

[Understood!]

Just like that, Kael spent hours trying to master the new skill he developed that he called Thunder Threads. The name sounded lame, but he didn't bother correcting it.

He just continued to practice the new skill while discussing with Alpha. He finally realised how much help this little assistant could be for him.

Having a Artificial intelligence in his head certainly was very helpful as she instructed him on mistakes he couldn't even see.

In just a few hours, he managed to get used to the Thunder Threads and could handle them even while moving. He didn't try anything more and just ran around with the Thunder Threads.

It was to see how good he could move around in battle while using this skill. After all, his motive was to use these Threads in the battle as support while using his Main skills as offensive skills.

It was already morning but he didn't stop and continued to practice with it.

That was how his next few weeks passed. Not only him, but even his subordinates were the same.

All of them focused on just one aspect and it was improving their Combat Prowess.

They would spend whole day busy with themselves and meet in the night for dinner. Even though they didn't really need it everyday, but Kael insisted on it as he knew just how much important was rest for mind.

As for others, who would want to reject his food?

In fact, they even began making bets on who would improve and whoever was at the top for that day would receive the biggest portion.

It made them so motivated that Kael couldn't help but laugh out loud. They really were a bunch of weirdoes that he found really amusing.

But they were also the one who kept him have a relaxed mind even though he spent whole day in practice and he was pushing himself the most, so he was also the most exhausted of them all.

Everyone had quite similar practicing pattern actually.

The twins didn't have many skills neither they had good affinity with any elements so they focused mainly on improving their Soul Quality by raising their mastery over skills.

As for how to do that? Kael had already taught them.

It was pretty easy, as they just needed to spam that particular skill again and again which would help their body and Soul get used to it.

It was like how even an illiterate person could learn the language as long as they had a basic understanding of the language and they lived in a Atmosphere where everyone talked in that language.

They could fasten their progress by actually paying attention to their Skill though. It was so that they understood it better which in term helped the skill to get assimilated more on the Soul.

Since Kael had already emphasizes on this Point, the twins didn't just randomly started grinding. They would cast Skills and try to understand their mistakes and also how the Skill worked.

Sadly, they didn't have a Artificial intelligence like Kaelz so they took their time. They only had each other, so they often practiced nearby and discussed with each other.

After all, their arsenal was basically the same.

They also had a problem that Kael didn't have. Their Mana Pool wasn't as massive as his. In fact, it could hardly be called a portion of it.

So, they also had to take rest unless they wanted to get themselves injuries for a long time.

On the other hand, their Younger sister practiced far away from them near the Northern Frost River. It was a huge river body, so she wondered if her flaming skills would cause little damege here.

Her practice regime was quite similar to the twin lions when it came to mastering the Skills. The only difference was that she had bigger Mana Pool so she could practice far longer than them.

There were also an addition to her practice and it was her Epic-Stage Fire Affinity. Since Kael reminded her of it, she had already planned to truly master.

It was her biggest advantage over others and it was also the reason why she lost her everything.

As for how she practiced her Flame Manipulation, it was quite similar with Kael but also a little different. Unlike him who was mostly focusing on creating new skills, her focus was on replicating the Skills she already had in her arsenal.

After all, it was easier to practice with those because she had some understanding about them and was also quite used to using them.

And they also belonged to Fire Domain.

But the reason she chose this method was because it also helped in her assimilation of Skills, as she understood them far better while trying to copy them.

She started with Flame Slash which was the easiest according to her right after Fireball. Then, she proceeded forward with other skills.

As for Rias, she often came to meet them during the dinner just to let them know that she was still with them. But there was always a dazed look in her eyes which confused everyone.

But she reassured them saying it was something she had to face but wasn't that dangerous. The later part was mostly for Kael who knew her situation the best.

If she was dealing with something dangerous, he certainly wanted to help. But he stayed silent since she didn't ask for it.

Just the fact that she came to meet them even in such situation showed that she truly cared about them and their relationship which warned his heart.

It made his resolve to help her even more. He had witnessed her problem and to say that he wasn't scared would be a lie.

But then again, he was also scared of Apocalypse since he had seen the consequences of it descending on the worlds.

Nonetheless, he was still hellbent on challenging it and erasing it from existence. This was the type of man he was.

As for his own training, it was the toughest since he had a huge arsenal of skills. He has to master them all because all of them were a part of his soul.

Only by mastering them could he raised his Soul's quality.

Aside from his Main Skills, he also had to focus on the Elemental Skills that he was getting so fascinated about.

And one should remember that he actually had three Elemental Affinity.

He had Storm Affinity which meant he also had affinity with Lightning, Wind and Water Elements.

Knowing that, how could he ignore the other two so he even practiced with them.

Lastly, he added one more thing in his training and he considered it very important.

It was to make his Ether Body strong. It already was very strong due to him having Dragon Physique, but he still wanted to make much stronger.

After all, he planned to strain it a lot and honestly, he didn't even feel bad about it. Why would he waste his huge potential?

Of course, it would have been very difficult to do all of that without Alpha, so he was incredibly thankful to her.

And that was how their days passed in peaceful grind.
