konoha:I'm the God of ninja world

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: A-Level Ninjutsu! Trouble!

The next day arrived quickly, and with it came the highly anticipated Shuriken Quiz.

Naruto was the first to step onto the stage, taking his position confidently ahead of Morkel. The moment he began his demonstration, his accuracy and technique surprised everyone, exceeding even the expectations of Iruka-sensei.

Iruka blinked in astonishment. Naruto was usually at the bottom of the class, yet today, his performance was unexpectedly impressive. Could it be that Naruto was on the verge of a major breakthrough?

"Teacher Iruka, am I qualified now?" Naruto asked eagerly after throwing a perfect set of kunai.

Iruka nodded with satisfaction. "Naruto, it looks like you've been putting in a lot of effort lately. Your hit rate has improved significantly. Keep up the good work."

"Yeah!" Naruto grinned and made a victory gesture. "It's all thanks to Morkel's special training last night! Too bad I didn't master the Shuriken Clone Technique, or you'd be looking at me differently, Iruka-sensei…"

Iruka's smile faded slightly as he processed Naruto's words. "Wait… what did you just say?"

"That Morkel helped me with special training last night?" Naruto asked innocently.

"Not that… the next part."

"Oh! That Morkel taught me the Shuriken Clone Technique?"

Iruka's pupils dilated in shock. He scrutinized Naruto's expression, but the boy looked completely sincere. Did this mean that Morkel had actually mastered the Shuriken Clone Technique?!

That was an A-rank ninjutsu—one created by the Third Hokage himself!

Iruka took a deep breath to calm his nerves and called Morkel over. "Morkel, is what Naruto said true?"

Morkel approached, looking completely unfazed. "Yes, I was practicing shuriken techniques at home last night…"

He paused for a moment before continuing, "Then I thought about combining Shadow Clone with Shuriken… so I tried it… and it worked."

Iruka nearly choked on his own breath. "And it just… worked?"

Morkel nodded with an innocent expression. "Didn't you say that learning ninjutsu requires creativity and adaptability? I was just following your advice, Iruka-sensei."

Iruka stared at him, feeling a mix of pride and exasperation. This kid was ridiculous! Mastering A-rank ninjutsu on his own? That wasn't just talent—it was downright terrifying!

Clearing his throat, Iruka asked, "Morkel, would you mind demonstrating it for us?"

Morkel's face lit up. "Of course!"

He stepped onto the training ground, where several wooden training dummies were set up as targets. The other students whispered among themselves as they watched.

"Do you think he really mastered the Shuriken Clone Technique?" Chōji asked Shikamaru while munching on a bag of chips.

Shikamaru shrugged. "It's possible, but that technique is pretty advanced. Even for a genius, it sounds complicated."

Sasuke, standing nearby, watched Morkel with narrowed eyes. The past few days had forced him to take Morkel seriously. He clenched his fists.

"Morkel, let's see what else you can do," he muttered under his breath.

Sakura, however, scoffed. "That guy must be exaggerating. Just because he learned the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique doesn't mean he can pull this off."

Before she could continue, Sasuke signaled for silence—Morkel was making his move.

Morkel held a handful of shuriken in his fingers and, with a swift flick of his wrists, launched them toward the wooden targets.

As the shuriken sliced through the air, he rapidly formed hand seals. His hands moved so fast they blurred.

"Chou, Xu, Chen, Zi, Xu, Hai, Si, Yin!"

The moment the final seal was completed, Morkel called out, "Shuriken Clone Technique!"

Suddenly, the dozen shuriken in the air multiplied into thousands!

A storm of black steel rained down upon the training dummies.

THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!

The dummies were immediately riddled with holes, looking like oversized pincushions.

But the shuriken didn't stop there. Many continued flying toward the perimeter walls, embedding themselves in the wooden fence.

CRASH!

Several shuriken even soared beyond the fence, disappearing into the village beyond.

Iruka's jaw nearly hit the floor.

What kind of monstrous talent was this?!

Sasuke's fists tightened. Morkel had really done it. He had mastered the Shuriken Clone Technique… and in a way that made it look effortless.

Shikamaru, usually unbothered by anything, raised an eyebrow. "That's… a lot of shuriken."

Even Sakura was at a loss for words. Was this really the same kid she used to dismiss?

Meanwhile, Ino clutched her cheeks, heart racing. "Morkel is… so cool."

Just as the awe settled in, a loud knock came from the training ground's entrance.

Iruka turned toward the noise, only to see a furious Konoha Chūnin standing there. The man had several shuriken lodged in his headband, and blood trickled down his forehead.

"What the hell is going on in your ninja school?!" the Chūnin roared. "I was just walking outside after breakfast, and suddenly, hundreds of shuriken started falling from the sky!"

Morkel flinched. Uh-oh.

The Chūnin stomped forward, pointing an accusing finger at Iruka. "Do you have any idea how it feels to be suddenly bombarded by hundreds of shuriken?! I almost became a human pincushion!"

Iruka turned slowly to look at Morkel, his expression unreadable.

Morkel smiled sheepishly and took a small step back. "Oops?"

Iruka sighed heavily and turned back to the furious Chūnin. "I sincerely apologize. We'll cover your medical expenses. Please come with me to the infirmary."

The Chūnin huffed but agreed, stalking away with Iruka following behind.

As Iruka exited, he turned and shot Morkel a warning glare that said: You are in so much trouble.

Morkel gulped. "Uh… guess I overdid it."

Naruto patted him on the back. "At least it looked cool, right?"

Morkel sighed. "Yeah… until the shuriken started hitting people."

Sasuke smirked. "You're an idiot."

Morkel crossed his arms. "Hey, even geniuses make mistakes."

The entire class burst into laughter, but beneath it all, there was an unspoken understanding.

Morkel was a prodigy. A true genius among them.

And everyone—Sasuke included—now knew they had a long way to catch up to him.
