Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Wind Style Shuriken! Shock!
At first, the shuriken thrown by Morkel couldn't even touch the wooden stake.
However, after just a couple of attempts, he was able to hit the bull's eye with precision. In mere moments, his progress was nothing short of astonishing. He quickly mastered throwing multiple shurikens at once, ricocheting them off each other mid-air, and adjusting their trajectory with incredible dexterity.
But what shocked even Morkel himself was the idea that suddenly came to him—could he possibly combine the Clone Technique with his shuriken throws?
The thought seemed impossible. Yet, with a few more attempts, he actually did it!
In just a few minutes, Morkel, completely self-taught, managed to replicate the Third Hokage's Shuriken Clone Technique—a technique said to require years of mastery.
Yamato, who had been observing from the shadows, was so stunned that his jaw nearly dropped.
"Impossible..." he muttered under his breath. "This boy..."
Just when Yamato was about to rush back and report his findings to the Third Hokage, he realized something—Morkel had sensed his presence!
In an instant, Morkel's sharp eyes locked onto him, his instincts screaming danger. Without hesitation, he unleashed a massive burst of chakra and summoned hundreds of Shadow Clones!
Yamato quickly raised his hands in surrender, attempting to explain, "Wait! I'm not your enemy! I was sent by the Hokage—"
Before he could finish, the swarm of Shadow Clones charged at him!
Though Morkel's clones were numerous, they lacked the experience and skill of a seasoned warrior. Yamato skillfully dodged and dispelled them one after another with ease.
But then, he suddenly stopped in his tracks. His eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed what Morkel was preparing next.
In the center of the battlefield, Morkel had his right hand extended. Swirling chakra gathered in his palm, condensing into a bright, rotating sphere.
"Rasengan...?" Yamato gasped.
This technique—one of the most advanced A-rank jutsus, created by the Fourth Hokage—should not be something a mere academy student could perform!
Before Yamato could fully process the absurdity of the situation, Morkel dashed forward, aiming the Rasengan right at him!
Reacting on instinct, Yamato narrowly dodged the incoming attack. A loud explosion followed as the Rasengan smashed into the ground, carving out a crater more than ten meters wide.
The sheer destructive force of it was undeniable. And yet, Morkel himself seemed unsatisfied.
He clenched his fists.
"This isn't enough," he murmured to himself. "I need to improve it."
A thought crossed his mind.
What if he could combine Rasengan with his shuriken techniques?
He envisioned it—a rotating sphere of chakra enhanced by an external force, increasing both its range and impact. However, he knew that plain chakra wouldn't suffice. It needed to be fused with a specific nature transformation.
"Wind Style... I'll try Wind Style first."
Without hesitation, Morkel extended his hand again. This time, he didn't just form a Rasengan. He began infusing wind chakra into it.
Yamato, who was still observing from a distance, felt a shiver run down his spine.
"He's combining elemental chakra with Rasengan? That's something not even the Fourth Hokage managed to do alone..."
The sphere in Morkel's hand started to morph. Wind blades surrounded it, spinning violently. The chakra itself howled like a raging storm.
Morkel smirked. "Wind Style: Shuriken Rasengan!"
Without waiting another second, he hurled it forward!
"Whoosh!"
The massive wind-enhanced Rasengan shot toward Yamato like a speeding comet.
"This is bad!" Yamato thought, swiftly leaping out of the way.
A second later, the jutsu made contact with the ground.
"BOOM!"
A deafening explosion rocked the entire area. The force of the impact was so immense that it sent a shockwave rippling through the village.
The aftermath was devastating. Morkel's home—his entire yard—was completely obliterated. A massive crater, at least a hundred meters wide, scarred the landscape.
Yamato, who had narrowly escaped, could still feel the burning sting of wind chakra grazing his skin.
"That was too close..." he muttered, wincing at the sharp pain.
His uniform was slightly torn, and his exposed arms had shallow cuts—proof of just how lethal the attack had been.
Moments later, the explosion's noise caught the attention of the Konoha patrol unit. Soon, a group of shinobi arrived at the scene.
Leading them was none other than the Third Hokage himself.
The elderly leader's eyes widened in horror as he took in the sight before him—a giant crater where Morkel's house once stood.
His gaze then shifted to Yamato, who was lying on a stretcher, covered in minor injuries.
"Yamato," the Hokage said sternly, "did you do this?"
Yamato, still in pain, nearly choked on his own frustration.
"Wha—?! No! It wasn't me!" he protested.
The Third Hokage's expression darkened. "Then who? Who caused this level of destruction within our village?"
A heavy silence filled the air.
Then, from within the crowd, a small voice spoke up.
"I... I did it."
All eyes turned to Morkel. The young boy stood with his head lowered, guilt and unease evident on his face.
The Third Hokage stared at him, almost disbelieving.
"What... did you just say?"
Morkel hesitated for a moment before repeating, "I made the crater."
Silence.
The Hokage's mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. His sharp eyes scanned the patrol unit, eventually settling back on Yamato.
Yamato sighed, defeated. He nodded, confirming Morkel's claim.
The Third Hokage took a deep breath, rubbing his temples.
This wasn't just some normal training accident. This was something unprecedented.
A mere academy student had not only performed Rasengan but had also combined it with Wind Style to create an entirely new and incredibly powerful technique.
The implications were staggering.
Morkel wasn't just talented—he was a monster in the making.
The Hokage glanced at the destroyed area, then back at Morkel. He could see it now.
This boy...
He wasn't just going to be a shinobi.
He was going to change the entire world.
