The eighth and final gate, in particular, was extremely dangerous—if recklessly opened, it could lead to instant death!

After days of relentless training, Morkel finally achieved the ability to open the first five gates.

Today, he decided to test his new power in the outskirts of Konoha.

With a flicker, he disappeared from the village.

Upon reaching an open field, Morkel immediately began his training.

Two individuals, one tall and one short, steadily made their way toward him.

Their attire was peculiar—

Both wore green jumpsuits and sported the same mushroom-style haircut.

Morkel instantly recognized them.

It was Might Guy and Rock Lee!

"Guy-sensei! Did you teach anyone else the Eight Inner Gates?!"

Guy, the older man, shook his head.

"No, Lee. The Eight Gates technique is extremely dangerous. You are the only student I have taught so far."

Lee's confusion deepened.

"Then why does that boy over there seem to be using it?!"

Morkel: "..."

Guy's eyes widened in shock.

"That's definitely the Eight Gates technique! And he's already unlocked the Fifth Gate!"

Lee's jaw dropped.

"THE FIFTH GATE?!"

Lee had been training relentlessly for years, pushing himself beyond his limits just to reach this level.

Yet, here was a complete stranger, younger than him, who had already reached the same stage?!

And worse—he looked completely at ease!

How was this possible?!

The two rushed toward Morkel, their eyes filled with curiosity.

Guy spoke first, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

"Hey there, kid! Where did you learn the Eight Inner Gates?!"

Morkel answered casually, "I figured it out myself."

Guy's eyes gleamed with admiration.

"Wow! You comprehended the Eight Gates on your own? That's incredible!"

Guy wasn't particularly surprised that someone else had learned the technique—after all, he himself had not invented it.

What did surprise him was how effortlessly this young boy had mastered it.

"You must have been training for a long time to unlock the Fifth Gate so easily," Guy added, giving him a thumbs-up.

Morkel answered honestly, "Not really. I've been training for a little over a week. Now I can barely open the Fifth Gate."

Guy: ...

Lee: ...

A week?

Barely?

Lee felt as if his entire world had collapsed.

He had spent years struggling to open the Fifth Gate through blood, sweat, and tears.

Meanwhile, this random kid had done it in a week?!

His heart ached.

Guy, however, clenched his fists in excitement.

"Amazing! You are overflowing with the flames of youth!"

Lee, though devastated, looked at Morkel with admiration and determination.

"Morkel-kun, will you spar with me?!"

Morkel glanced at Lee's eager expression and couldn't help but smile.

"Sure. But let's start slow—I don't want to break you."

Lee: "..."
