Volume 3 Chapter 1
1. What Are You Looking At?
Xia Yi opened her eyes and woke up from the bed.
“Where am I…”
She sat on the bed, dazed for a while, staring at her hands and trying to lift her tail.
Tail, heed my command!
However, the tail didn’t give Xia Yi any response. There was only an empty feeling behind her.
She wiggled her butt.
The tail was gone.
“Sure enough, it worked!”
Xia Yi jumped off the bed, her white silk-clad feet pattering on the floor as she ran to the mirror.
The reflection in the mirror was no longer a silver-haired, silver-eyed dragon loli but a black-haired, black-eyed human loli.
All the dragon characteristics on her body had disappeared. Now, she was almost no different from a human.
“Hehehe, as expected, the transformation potion I made is very useful!”
Xia Yi was very satisfied with the effect of the transformation potion.
This was a special formula she had obtained from the Dragon Library, secretly from Xia Lulu, and concocted into a potion with very powerful effects. It could even suppress a Dragon King-level curse and transform her body back to a human state.
Now, Xia Yi was human.
Her next mission was to go to the human world to investigate the secrets of the human higher-ups. Naturally, it was most reasonable to transform back into a human to act, and there was no need to worry about the risk of exposing her dragon identity.
Lucia’s method was to use some appearance-altering alchemical potions, combined with illusion earrings that could change visual effects, to conceal dragon characteristics and achieve the effect of disguising as a human.
Comparing the two methods, there was an obvious gap between Lucia’s method and the transformation potion… So Xia Yi didn’t adopt Lucia’s plan and chose her own potion instead.
This was one of Xia Yi’s important trump cards, and she hadn’t revealed it to anyone yet.
If other dragons knew that she possessed a potion capable of suppressing the Dragon King-level curse, it would definitely cause a huge uproar in the Dragon Kingdom.
“It’s just a pity. Why didn’t I restore my male body?” Xia Yi looked at her body, feeling a bit regretful. “I’m still in loli form. Compared to my original self, it’s really far off.”
Although she no longer had silver hair and silver eyes, Xia Yi’s current appearance was still outstanding compared to ordinary humans. Cute with a hint of childishness, like an exquisite and perfect doll. Growing up in the Dragon Royal Family, her princess aura was vaguely reflected, making her desirable.
“Forget it, this will do. When I go to the Lawrence family later, I’ll create a fake identity and be able to move freely in the Rhine Kingdom.”
After tidying up a bit, Xia Yi changed into a new outfit, wearing a wide magic hat, loose robe, and a magic book at her waist, looking every bit like a young human mage.
She pushed open the door of the inn room, not going to the front desk to get her deposit back, but going downstairs and directly leaving through the back door.
This was the port of the Blackstone Kingdom.
Xia Yi had already left the Dragon Kingdom and arrived at the lizardmen’s Blackstone Kingdom.
Actually, with her identity as the Dragon Princess, as soon as she arrived in the Blackstone Kingdom, Prince Guya, who was supported by the dragons, would definitely take the initiative to warmly receive her. Even without asking, the lizardmen would actively inquire if there was anything they could help Xia Yi with and try their best to satisfy her.
However, since it was an undercover mission, Xia Yi still decided to keep a low profile and act on her own. Very few people knew about her leaving the Dragon Kingdom.
Standing on the bustling streets, besides lizardmen, Xia Yi saw many humans.
There were many humans in the port of the Blackstone Kingdom.
Xia Yi had helped Prince Guya regain his country, so the important mineral veins of the Blackstone Kingdom already belonged to the dragons, and most of the produced magic crystal resources were also the dragons’. They were sold to various races and countries on this land through this city’s port.
Humans probably didn’t realize that the money they spent buying magic crystals from the lizardmen was flowing into the pockets of the dragons, their most despised enemies.
“First, I’ll go buy a ticket.”
Xia Yi went to the port and found a cargo ship, ready to buy a ticket.
“Miss Mage, are you returning to the Rhine Kingdom?” The ticket seller asked.
“Yes.”
Xia Yi nodded, finding it strange. Did this ticket seller have mind-reading abilities? He knew where she was going before she even said anything.
The ticket seller smiled and said, “Miss Mage, I saw you come to buy a ticket last time, remember?”
“Eh?”
Xia Yi was stunned. Looking at the ticket seller in front of her, she remembered something.
She had indeed come to the Blackstone Kingdom before, bought a ticket, boarded the ship, and was about to return to the human world. However, due to some… very subtle reasons, it wasn’t successful.
This, this, this was too much of a coincidence, running into the same ticket seller as last time!
“I remember you said you had finished traveling outside and were going to return to the Rhine Kingdom. I didn’t expect you to come to the Blackstone Kingdom for another trip.”
“Ugh…”
Xia Yi’s cheeks reddened slightly.
It was all this ticket seller’s fault for making her remember that she didn’t go to the human world… but instead returned to the Dragon Palace and went to find Xia Lulu at the first opportunity…
She tugged at her wide magic hat, trying to cover her face, too embarrassed to make eye contact with the ticket seller. She took out the gold coins.
When she displayed the gold coins, many people’s gazes focused on her, and some of their eyes gradually became complicated…
“Gold coins, that’s quite a large amount. Please wait a moment while I give you change… As expected of a noble, using gold coins to purchase tickets.” The ticket seller sighed, feeling very envious.
After taking the ticket, Xia Yi didn’t say anything and ran all the way to board the ship.
…
Accompanied by the sound of the steam whistle, the passenger ship heading to the human country—the Rhine Kingdom—set off.
Xia Yi didn’t stay in her seat but came to the deck, leisurely leaning on the railing, enjoying the river breeze.
Thud, thud, thud.
She heard the sound of others walking on the deck and casually turned her head.
It was a human girl that can be described as pink. Her hair is pink, and even her eyes are pink. Her appearance is very outstanding, her figure is good, and her breasts are a size larger than Xia Yi’s… She found the perfect balance between a girl’s cuteness and beauty, like the heroine in a painter’s brush, extremely eye-catching in a crowd, noticeable at first glance.
The girl had a katana at her waist, seemingly a swordswoman.
Xia Yi felt that this pinkette looked a bit familiar. Had she seen her somewhere before?
So she deliberately stared for a while until the other party also noticed Xia Yi, not shifting her gaze either.
The pink-haired girl also looked a bit puzzled upon seeing Xia Yi.
The two girls thus met each other’s gaze in a subtle standoff.
“What are you looking at?” The pink-haired girl asked.
Xia Yi also retorted without showing weakness, “What’s it to you if I look?”
