Chapter 497 - Visiting My Kingdom (Part 1)
Once my husbands have chosen the hut locations that they prefer the most, I was automatically booted out of their priorities and their mind altogether. The tension between the four suddenly dissipated as if it never happened and they were now discussing cordially with each other like old friends. I guess, these men who were all in their father-to-be mode can be compared to mother birds that are excited to build their nests in preparation for their young ones that will be born soon.
Since they no longer care about my existence I did a quick good bye and at least they cared enough to give me a look and a quick kiss on the lips before returning to busying themselves with interior designing their huts and planning what to do with their yards. My father-in-law smiled at me helplessly and gave me some well wishes in behalf of them. He also reminded me to visit as much as I can and if possible, not to take any extended trips to far places at the time the children will be born. Though I could not promise anything about the schedule, I promised to be there when the children are about to be born since I will be notified about it immediately through my soul.
I teleported out of Tadhana and went straight to Eieneos. I chose to teleport in the main plaza for a change with the intention to walk around the kingdom like a proper leader, specifically inside the territories assigned to each of the four noble Eieneos families that are now under the care of my four fiancés. I always had full access to everything in this kingdom and this included those areas from the time all the fog dissipated. I can freely move in and out of them even without the four guys' permission.
Out of the four territories, the one that I decided to visit first was the Yehia territory since it was the first one that opened out of the four. I want to check how much progress Samir has made in terms of making use of the arable land, increasing the kingdom's overall food production and expanding food options since he governs everything that deals with the soil and things that come from it.
As I exited through the path towards Samir's territory, the surroundings suddenly changed as if I was transported to another dimension. What welcomed me was the feeling of the cool breeze caressing my skin while I can clear smell in the air a mix of the scent of freshly cut grass and the scent of blooming flowers. I can also hear the sound of rustling leaves as they dance to the wind.
Everywhere I look was filled with different shades of green with splashes of colors from fruits and flowers that have been growing quite well throughout the area. It was like the whole territory has been transformed into Samir's personal garden though it is actually too big to be called that. It is more appropriate to call it a hacienda instead. I could not believe that he was able to do this much work on his own and even continue maintaining it the way it looked as well. He is definitely a powerful mystique since if a human would do this, they will surely die of exhaustion if their tasks were this numerous every single day of their lives.
I expanded my senses to check for anyone but it seems like nobody is home at the moment. Well, I am not here for a chat anyway and just visited for an inspection. I went back to the main plaza by walking in a very leisurely pace.
Once in the plaza, I decided to visit the Amagai territory next, now under Touya's care. My way of thinking was relatively simple. Just as food is important, water was the next basic need for living beings.
I quickly walked towards the path to Touya's territory, excited as to what type of surprise I will be able to see inside. I was then transported to yet another dimension as I noticed that I am walking inside what seems to be a see through glass domed path. As I look up, instead of seeing the blue skies and some blots of clouds here and there, all I can see was deep blue waters with a wide variety of sea creatures and plants living and moving through it. It was akin to touring a modern day ocean-themed amusement park.
I walked for a few minutes before I finally exited in to a pavilion floating in the middle of a lake. The path continues on towards the shore. This territory seemed to have focused on growing water plants that can grow in either under water or on the shores of bodies of water. I do not know how Touya did it but I am sure that he was able to successfully create an ecosystem where the water can support living beings that need both fresh and salt water. Well, that is how powerful he is, I guess.
Just like in the previous area I visited, I did not sense anybody home as of the moment. I left after a while to go back to the plaza. My next stop will be the Flynn territory under the care of Luxiel. After only taking a few steps in to the path towards the Flynn territory, I was then immediately transported in the middle of a vast space similar to a military training camp.
There was a huge mansion north of the training area and beside it was some kind of building that is most like the soldier barracks. I peeked into one of the buildings and it looked like it was a community bath house of some sort. The more I walked around here, the more I can't help but remember the brief period that I stayed at the northern military camps. For some reason though, I don't understand why the ground looked scorched like a dragon's breath hit it before.
As I looked around, there was nobody home again. As I looked up at the sky, I couldn't help but notice that it was dyed a bit red due to one of the main attribute of the territory owner which is fire. I wonder if this place have eternal summers as it is comfortably warm as of the moment. Knowing Luxiel though and the task he took before, I am sure he set up the day time and night time change here.
Since I saw everything I am interested to see so far, the last stop would then be the Casimir territory under Altair's care. I went back to the plaza and walked towards another direction again. As I continued walking it felt that the surrounding are becoming darker by the second. After a split second, the surroundings changed. It was so abrupt that I myself was surprised.
For someone who control the attributes of darkness, space and time, Altair really made the most out of it. His territory was the biggest of all the ones I have inspected so far. It even had a clear sun in the sky and a translucent moon in the background which I assume would look clearer at night time. Just like how I designed Tadhana, there was a huge mansion which was obviously the owner's abode, an attached building to its right which was most likely for live-in servants and then another one to the left which looked like a workshop or a laboratory of some sort.
The territory owner also made sure to provide housing not only for his workers but also for their families. This is evident with the fact that the rest of the Casimir territory was filled with beautiful stone houses which were only one-storey which included its own yard. Even without me checking on the inside of the house, I am quite sure that these were enchanted with space attributes which would make them bigger inside. If I should make my assumption, the smallest could be as big as a two storey bungalow inside of it since I would surely do the same if I can control space attributes freely.
The more I looked around, the more I felt impressed but at the same time, I felt like laughing. As if mocking Samir, Luxiel and Touya, Altair made sure this territory can operate like a small kingdom of its own. It is not just because of the size of the space but with how complete the government offices are present.
As if copying the best parts from the other territories, Altair placed vast farm lands in his territory to support food production like in Yehia. He also implemented its own stable source of water like in Amagai and even put a proper sewage system for hygiene purposes on top of that. Lastly. do defend everything he has built, he also allotted a space for a military training ground and barracks like in Flynn.
I can say that Altair's territory was the best out of the four since it considers outside factors and unexpected events. The best part is that Altair is willing to share his territory with common citizens by creating a community with numerous small housing that can be rented or bought by anyone. I couldn't help but smile and hope that this community will thrive in the near future under his leadership.
