NOVEL WEB Chapter 496 - Tadhana, Our New Haven
At exactly ten in the morning, I started the teleportation portal to the new world tree realm. The first batch includes the new sanctuary residents from the elves, heralds and giants races whom I sent to specific areas so they can join their respective communities. The second batch included me, my three husbands and my father-in-law.
I am the only one that knew what the realm looked like, It was a little surprise I made that even Laerad has not seen before. Sure, my amazing deity husband taught me how to create a separate realm within an already existing one but everything inside it was built and designed by me in secret. I admit that it may be one of the reasons why Laerad was kind of grumpy since that little haven I made will officially open to its first few residents.
After stepping into the teleportation portal, it only took a blink of an eye for me, Makisig, Dakila, Vaelion, Reiss and I to reappear inside the central ground of the world tree realm. It was a separate space we created for future meetings of the different races whenever Laerad feels like calling for one. The haven I created can only be accessed once one is within the new world tree realm. Even if one is lucky enough to sneak in, they can't still reach the place. It has top security that only me and the people who are officially declared as residents of the space can go in and out freely. It was similar to that little space where the little white hut was which only I, Laerad and those given with special permission can enter.
After reaching the plaza, I found Laerad standing on one side, waiting for us to arrive. When he turned around to face us, the first thing one will notice was his belly similar in size to the trio next to me. It surprised me since I am sure that my three husbands were a couple of months ahead of him in terms of the pregnancy duration. It was kind of awkward having four pregnant men in the same space especially when they knew that the mother of their children is the same person.
To break the tension, I introduced Laerad to the trio of Makisig, Vaelion and Reiss as well as my father-in-law. I decided to lay it all out the first time and told everyone that he was a deity of creation, the personification of the world tree and my husband as well. The trio looked at me in surprise but did not ask a single question. They simply introduced their first names to Laerad as formality and it was dead silent after that.
After we got the meet and greet out of the way, I chuckled nervously and just started chanting for another teleportation portal to appear under our feet. This time, the portal would lead us straight to my little haven within the realm. Following the theme of how I named the first sanctuary that I made near Sklavryet, I decided to name this new little haven, "TADHANA" which means destiny or fate.
I always believed, whether it was in my previous life or in this current one I am living in, that people's paths meet for a reason as if the whole universe was helping out for it to happen. As for the reason for meeting the person, it can be for different reasons. Some may appear in your life to teach you an important life lesson or some painful reality. Some may appear to become your lifelong friend or companion or may be even an inspiration to move forward and simply live on.
I believe I met my men, both humans and mystiques because they are meant to be with me. I believe so to because of the existence of resonance and because we chose to be together out of our own will. I knew that I was chosen to take care of these men's well-being for the rest of their lives and build a big family with all of them.
Tadhana is a huge realm of its own, separate from the mechanisms and rules set by Laerad for the new world tree realm. It about half the size of one layer of the world tree realm itself. The only thing that they share, only partially, was its source of power. It was from that secure place we created and used to store all of the essence stones and where all the rental mana is being siphoned to. We can just call it the power supply area.
I honestly created this realm not only as a safe haven but also a back up plan just in case someone stages another coup to destroy the world tree realm out of greed once more, not that I would let anybody do that in my watch. Though I never admitted it to anyone, this place was a proof of my love and care to all my important people since this place is the safest in this world.
As the new teleportation portal lighted up, we disappeared from where we were standing then reappeared in the middle of a huge plaza with a fountain in the middle. It somewhat looked like that first place you appear in when you start in a beginner village in an MMORPG game.
The whole plaza was round and the ground was lined with light grey cobblestones. The borders were bushes of different colored flowers and then there was a path towards the four cardinal directions. In the middle of the plaza was a beautiful three tiered fountain which I designed like how the myths describe the world tree, with its layers.
As the creator of the place, I automatically became the tour guide for my companions. We first took the northern route and to their surprise, a villa appeared which looked like the mansion I built in Marahuyo for myself but this one was wider and had more facilities. It has three floors but was about 5 times wider than a usual mansion.
As to why I designed such a huge space, this is because I recognized the fact that my husbands will have different hobbies, interests and occupations so I included some laboratories, workshops, studios and libraries on the first floor of the mansion where one can stake a claim on a particular space and turn it in their personal office. There was also a huge kitchen, a children's play area and a spacious living room and dining hall with simple but high quality furniture.
The tour continued to the second floor where my room, personal office and personal laboratory was. I did not let them inside my space and instead guided them to the top most floor instead. This one is designed similar to the room of beginning where there are receptacles for keeping babies in and also for making milk.
I can see the awe in everyone's faces and even Laerad who was usually composed was surprise at what I have created. After the quick tour of the mansion, I advised everybody that the community inside Tadhana will be quite a different set up in a sense that each husband will have a quiant hut of their own that they can design as they see fit.
They may look like little huts but with my abilities, it is as big as a bungalow inside. I advised them that they can request anything from me to design their houses and I will get it for them. The houses were on the areas in the west and east paths from the fountain and have ample spaces in between for privacy. It had its own front yard and backyard for husbands that like to take care of animals or maybe do some gardening.
The south path from the fountain leads to a trip to nature. It had a huge lake surrounded by lush forests with different types of trees, bushes and other plants. I also placed a few small and harmless animals inside it that people can take as pets, play with or even hunt if they want to. I know some husbands enjoy going on their walks in nature to relax so I made sure that they have a safe place they can walk in for that bit of sun and fresh air.
I let my husbands choose whichever hut they wanted to live in. Laerad was also given his own hut here much to his surprise. He is also my husband so he has to have a place here as well which is only fair. After they all settled in and I have given them their luggage, I asked them to write their interior design material requests in pieces of paper and give them to me as soon as I can.
As for Laerad, he started changing the inside of his hut immediately with mana. I am quite sure he will do just fine with the decorating. I hugged Laerad from the back and whispered to him to take care of the three newbies' renovation requests while I am away. He simply said "Yes" then shooed me away because he was busy.
I bid my goodbyes to everyone then teleported to the main realm's meeting area before teleporting again to Eieneos. It was time to visit my palace and its rowdy inhabitants.
