Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

After teleporting away from the plaza, I reappeared back into my room inside my villa in the north of the sanctuary. I decided to remove all of my clothes and take a proper and long shower. As for the clothes I removed, I was glad I had two pairs of the same thing so I burned this one since I felt filthy all over just being in Lyartaim and amongst those heartless beings.

After the shower, I dressed myself up with some comfortable home clothes and laid on my huge comfy bed. I just stared at the ceiling for several minutes at this point. It is not like I need any sleep anyways but I am just used to having it as part of my routine in my days back in earth.

After about half an hour of wasting time doing nothing, I heard a telepathic message coming from Laerad. I did miss that voice though he is complaining almost 100% of the time, either about me giving him too much work or me not visiting him recently. From the tone of his voice today though, he seems to be in a good mood.

His happy voice suddenly came in my head, "My lovely wife! Thank you for all the things you have sent me! It made my job way easier since you gave me a lot of trees and plants to fill the realm's forest layer. You even gave me caves, mountains, waterfalls and rivers too so I don't have to use my mana to create any of those. I got the map of Lyartaim as well. The way they placed things around are just "bleh". I think I would just let the inhabitants plan on how to use the space and what house they want to build by themselves."

As he continued sharing his appreciation for gifts he had received in an endlessly excited barrage of praises, my eyebrows started to furrow in confusion. When did I even send those things? Why don't I have any recollection of it?

Then I remembered that I gave instructions to someone to ensure that he takes everything valuable as much as he can as repayment for everyone that were treated unjustly. I just never thought he would take this much in such a short amount of time. It was definitely Artak's doing.

I thought of calling for Artak for a little talk but I decided against it. I can always do that by tomorrow after I have spent some lazy time by myself and all of the newcomers have rested. I'll talk to him once I start to feel bored. I just want to enjoy as much idle time for now as possible before I have to work again. This time, it will be in Zanahavre.

I sent back a telepathic message to Laerad telling him to take care of himself and the children. I also reminded him to not enjoy working too much and rest in between. My people are living in the sanctuary just fine so there is no need to push to complete these things too quickly.

He reluctantly said "Yes" and promised to take care of our twins. I also assured him that the people in Eieneos don't have any clue of his condition as of the moment.

As if trying to escape being scolded further about his tendency to overwork, he happily said "Later!" With the excuse that he should finish what he can do today before resting. I scoffed at him purposely saying that he would "rest" but who knows how long he rests compared to the time he works.

I could only sigh at how stubborn he was but at the same time, I also understand how happy he was that he could rebuild the realm again. The previous world tree realm was destroyed right before his eyes and he was powerless to do anything to stop it. Now that I am here though, I would make sure that nothing that we build can be abused or destroyed by anyone.

After Laerad has left, silence resumed in my mind and inside my bedroom. I was then back to staring at the ceiling doing nothing. After doing nothing for so long, I couldn't help but eventually rearrange the things that I still have to do after this.

Besides planning to add more members in my family through my husbands, I also need to still go to Zanahavre, Cyreneia and the possible negotiations with the blood demons. I also have to put time in studying more on the spell that Laerad found for me regarding how to create another me so I can do more things and be in different places at the same time.

With all these thoughts in mind, I eventually fell asleep. Surprisingly, none of my three clingy husbands have knocked on my door or woke me up from my rest until the next morning.

After waking up naturally the next day, I looked out the window and it seems that the sun has not risen yet. It was still dark outside and everything is quiet and peaceful. I dressed up with more comfortable clothes that are more presentable to face other people with at least then teleported out of my house straight to the plaza.

I went to the community kitchen and leisurely checked the amount of food ingredients available in the inventory. I appreciate how my people here do there part in keeping the food enough for everyone and I guess the newcomers gave their food to the sanctuary as well to show their willingness to be part of this place.

I started planning what to cook for breakfast since I would have to feed double the amount of citizens this time. I should make sure to prepare some soup, some bread, rice as an alternative option, a meat dish, vegetables and some fish too. I also prepared some nuts and fruits that others can munch on. The more types of mystiques that stay here, the more varied their diets are so I have no choice but to add more options for carnivores, omnivores and herbivores.

By the time the sun is about to rise, several people, most likely the breakfast preparation team, have woken up and arrived at the community kitchen. They were surprised that I was up so early but was still happy along side with me since they usually ask me for cooking tips and techniques whenever I am here.

With more hands working, the food preparation became quick and it was easier to cook in larger batches for everyone. Some of the younger children even helped out in shelling some of the nuts, washing berries and cutting fruits into smaller pieces so that it will be ready for eating.

From the time I started preparing, everything was done within one and a half hours. Everybody have already found their own spots where they will be eating. I ate with my three husbands to make sure they have their fill of all the food that they liked. Everybody else was happily eating and all the food has been eaten clean.

After the meal, I asked for the newcomer beast men to stay behind so we can all have a short meeting on what everybody's plans are moving forward. I also have to make sure to list all their needs and tell them the rules of this place. I was with my three husbands and I let them lead the meeting while I was just listening at the background.

Throughout the meeting, I can feel two persistent set of eyes staring at me but I chose to ignore them. The first one was Artak but I knew that he just wants to be praised for completing his tasks and maybe to return the other storage bag I gave him. The second one was Cyler, that rude guard. I honestly don't want to talk to him no matter what his reasons are for staring at me.

After the meeting, I decided to make a quick visit back to Eieneos for some rest and relaxation with my children and my husband. I also need to deposit some of the milk ingredients from my body which I recently discovered to have another interesting benefit. It actually culls my libido so I don't feel pent up and in heat all the time.

I know the gods made me like this to make it easy for me to have children but it interrupts the other things that I have set myself to do. Besides, I guess it is time to wake up another useful husband to manage my kingdom better. I need someone who can regulate the morning and evening cycles to be specific since it is connected to temperature changes and amount of light. If I am looking into pushing for increased yields for agricultural products, this is one of the things I need to address.

I still have a couple of days before my promised visit back to Zanahavre and I also need a quick visit at the sanctuary designated to the fairies in the world tree realm. I won't feel satisfied until I can inspect it and everything is perfect since the time the fairies will move in will be coming soon.
