Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 275 - The aftermath

I spent a day in Eieneos bonding with Ioannis and the twins. I also did a quick visit at the room of beginnings to make my regular deposit of essences and mana from myself and my husbands.

When I went down to the dining room the next morning, Laerad and Samir are already there as well as Ioannis, Lia and Aelorus. The breakfast was delicious and it was a fine day if only the meal wasn't awkwardly tense and quiet.

As I was halfway through the meal, I coughed a bit and asked, "If you have things to ask me, just get to it. You staying quiet will not give you the answers you need."

Laerad lowered his utensils on his plate and then stared at me for a few seconds. He then asked me with a cold tone, "Who is Galen, Kyros and Arsenti?"

This question has garnered the attention of everyone in the table as everyone stopped eating and lifted their heads to look at me. I answered nonchalantly, "They are people I met during my almost three months stay in Sklavryet. If I should directly answer your question, they are my lovers or something like that?"

Ioannis scoffed and added to the awkwardness, "Oh. No wonder I was 18th in line."

Samir also asked, "Are they humans in the process of conversion? Are you planning to add them officially to your household?"

I answered again with not much change in my facial reaction, "As I have said, they are my lovers. Nothing is set in stone yet. I will let you know once there are any updates."

In a futile effort to break the awkwardness, Aelorus asked his own question, "When are you going to provide the life orbs with sustenance from their fathers?"

I stared at Aelorus for a few seconds, contemplating why he had to ask this question out of all the times he could. The temperature got colder in the dining area as my three men remembered that there are already a blood demon and elf babies incubating in the room of beginnings.

I scoffed and asked, "Aelorus, I think you do not have self-awareness. You just had to make everything worse by asking a question. Why don't we make things more awkward, shall we?"

Lia sensing the irritation in my voice, did something to Aelorus from underneath the table, making him scream from pain. Lia then addressed him, "Please just ignore him. He's dumb as always."

Aelorus looked at Lia as if blaming her for another hurtful hit on both physical and emotional aspects. Lia looked back at him with angry widened eyes and Aelorus simply looked down like a scolded child.

I smiled and insisted, "No. Let's just lay it all out. I don't know if I have told you that I also have three other mystiques currently pregnant with my children. One was from Makisig, a mystique from the giant race. There is another one from someone named Reiss, a herald and another one from someone named Vaelion, an elf. I met them during my stay in Sklavryet and when I went undercover in Freyheimr for about two weeks. I have also kept more than a hundred mystiques hidden in a sanctuary I personally made near Sklavryet and last time I checked, a bunch of them are willing to give me more children. Is everyone satisfied now with all the information I have provided?"

I laughed sarcastically at their jealousy and tantrums. They all knew my mission and what I needed to do to fulfill it so what is all this fuss. I added, "Those orbs inside the room of beginnings, there are a total of 6. One of them is from blood demon descent, a man I met accidentally in Arista. The other 5 are from fairy descent. Their fathers are from the five most powerful households in Zanahavre. I have also met with a dark elf and dragons are starting to notice my existence. Anything else you want to know?"

They all kept their silence as they noticed my increasing anger each time I spoke. Laerad tried to diffuse the situation by telling me that he found a few books about the spell that I am interested of trying. I raised my hand to cut him off and replied, "Just send the book to our shared storage. I am going back to Hoffen City." With that, I stood up and immediately teleported to my villa inside the Academe of Gnosis, leaving everyone stunned.

I reappeared inside the living room. I laid on sofa and simply stared at the ceiling for a few minutes to cool my head and waste a bit of time. After some time, I sat up then teleported inside the family registration office. I walked to the counter and greeted the familiar elderly man that have assisted me last time. I gave him all the required documentation to complete the process of adding Aurum, Helios, Calyx, Yren and Xenos into my family.

He looked through the documents and I observed him as his face gradually showed surprise. He then abruptly looked at me and stared. He then firmly replied, "I will have this done as quickly as I can, your highness."

I only waited for less than half an hour and I was already provided with the confirmation that the five of them are already added to my family registry. Though I hated it, I have to follow the rules of the royal family and added Aurum as an official husband under the Athanoviya household. Helios, Calyx, Yren and Xenos had to be registered as concubines for now by law.

I heavily contested this before when I was speaking with Aurum's four aides but they said that it was a rule of the Athaanoviya empire. They said that it is only possible to have them promoted to an official husband if they have already successfully given birth to a child for me. The four guys looked at me helplessly as they said that they are just part of the dowry so they can't be immediately registered with the same rank in the household as Aurum.

I sighed heavily at the pesky rule that I have no choice but to follow for now. Why are these marriage and family rules so unfair. I never wanted to take in concubines, only official husbands and they just had to break my personal promise four times in one go. Ugh!

I teleported straight inside the royal chambers with my disguise as "Luna the student" and gave a copy of the family registrations to the empress. He hugged the documents happily and told me that she will never give it back no matter what. She laughed and joked that now that she had gotten rid of those five children that have given her an endless amount of trouble, I have to take care of them now for good. No returns or refunds were allowed.

I laughed at the childish antics of the empress. Now I know where Aurum gets his childishness and the peculiar way his mind thinks. I promised her that I will take care of her five children for the rest of our lives and I don't have any plans of returning them no matter how troublesome they are. I teleported back to the academe villa after that.

Since Dimitri is not in the villa anyways and Arthur has not come back, I have no one to talk to inside the academe and my home is incredibly quiet. My short courses will start in a few days so there is nothing to do as of the moment. I thought of what better to do with my time and decided to visit Marahuyo and my huge project in Sklavryet at the moment.

I snapped my fingers to copy one of the movies I watched back on earth and I teleported straight to my villa in the northern part of Marahuyo. Not even a few minutes has passed, I already heard knocks on my front door. They really have keen senses. I am quite sure this is not just because of the pregnancy too.

I alighted the stairs leisurely and approached the main door. I then opened it widely and saw my three pregnant husbands. I gave each one a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I welcomed them inside the living room and prepared their favorite snacks and beverages. I watched them munch like the cute hamsters they are.

After a few minutes, once they are already satiated and happy, I invited them to look around the territory specifically the community kitchen. They happily followed me out of the villa and we took a leisurely walk there instead of teleporting for a change.

I slowed down my pace in consideration with the three men walking with me and we leisurely walked to the plaza. We quickly went to the community kitchen as I did my routine checking of the food inventory. As I checked, it seems that they are doing well with the seeds I have asked them to plant, there were some fish too which means they have taken care of the fingerlings I left in the river and lastly there was an abundance of different types of meat. They must be hunting nonstop in preparation for more children and potential new members of the territory.

While I was doing my inspection, I have already noticed a few eyes observing me from afar. I also immediately noticed the sudden increase in the number of inhabitants in the territory. Sure, I asked them to rescue people that they think are in trouble, heal them up and then try to convince them to stay but aren't the methods used by my people too effective?
