Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Laerad and Samir released their stealth since there is no point in keeping it as they have already spoken out loud. Aurum stared at the other two men in the room and asked, "Who are these two?"

I sighed and replied, "Technically, they are also officially engaged to me. There are three others who are also engaged to me some place else. They're arranged by my parents. As of now, you are my third officially engaged fiancè. These two are like me. They are born mystiques, not converted. Oh I forgot you four, that makes it seven fiancès wherein five are humans then."

The humans in the room were silent, trying to understand the things I am saying. The other two men next to me are smiling proudly. They look quite happy that I did not deny our relationship even if I was with my future husbands and in-laws. The silence in the room is deafening as of the moment.

After about 10 minutes, it was Aurum's parents that broke the silence first. The empress asked for a favor, "Daughter-in-law, is it possible to convert several people including myself, my main consort, my daughter, my son and his four aides?" I replied that there was no issue for me but they have to wait for their daughter to come of age first. The process can only start with the permission and agreement of the human that will undergo the conversion.

Inside that room, besides an engagement, a secret deal that will change the future of the Athanoviya empire has been finalized. I gave each of them 3 jars worth of supplements that they have to take religiously for three months. They eagerly accepted the jars and hid them somewhere in their clothes to keep them secured. As for Aurum's four aides, they all took one pill immediately and swallowed it without drinking any water with visible difficulty.

This action stunned the others in the room. It seems that these four are all so sold out about being with me that they couldn't wait to start the changes in their bodies. Xenos, Helios, Calyx and Yren gave me goofy smiles after they were caught being too eager about taking the pills. I smiled back at them and jokingly gave them a wink.

Once everything has been settled, it was my turn to bring out some documents that I have prepared myself. I pushed one copy towards each of my five fiancès. They took the papers and read them silently. I enjoyed seeing their eyes widened at what they just read. Each of them abruptly looked up towards me trying to confirm if everything in the documents are true.

Aurum was the first to ask, "I thought that today was just an engagement between all of us and the wedding date is still up for discussion. Why are you giving us documents to fill out to officially add us to your family registry?"

I looked at him and asked a question back, "Are you planning to just stay engaged indefinitely? Isn't this the next step? You don't have any plans to be added to my household?"

While Aurum was still asking clarifying questions to me, the other four men behind him hurriedly filled out their details carefully to avoid errors on the documents then hurriedly gave it back to me once it was completely filled out. It made me laugh as they never ceased to show how much they wanted to be with me. As Aurum saw that they have completed theirs, he hurriedly filled out his documents too with a loud click of his tongue in annoyance due to the actions of his four companions.

I took all the documents and read through them to ensure that they are filled out correctly and completely. I smiled at everyone and assured them that all the changes to their marital status and their addition to my family registry will be processed first thing tomorrow.

I assured them that it will be completed within the day since I have my people in there.

The only thing my five new fiancès can do was to nod their head absent-mindedly. Their minds seemed to have not yet registered yet that we got engaged and then married on the same day. I like doing things decisively and quickly so this isn't a surprise for me. I just don't know about them.

I stood up since all the things I wanted to discuss are over. My five new fiancès and my parents-in-law followed my movement with their eyes. My father-in-law immediately gave a kind offer for me to stay in the palace for the night. I replied with a slight shake on my head and said that I will be going back to the academe tonight after handling some other matters.

I held on to both Laerad and Samir's shoulders, bid my goodbyes to the people in the room and teleported back to Eieneos to take these two bitter people back home. After we reappeared at the garden portal, I teleported right inside the palace leaving the two of them dumbfounded. I teleported again inside the room where Ioannis and the twins are staying.

I quietly watched my two beautiful babies sleeping next to their equally gorgeous father on our wide bed. I slowly laid my tired body behind Ioannis and gave him a cuddle from behind. I sniffed at his scent and immediately, it calmed me down.

Ioannis' eyes fluttered a bit as he noticed someone hugging him from behind. I whispered, "Sleep some more. I was just watching you and the babies sleep."

He looked at me with sleepy eyes, used his mana to carry the twins gently and then placed them back in their crib. He turned around and then dove his face towards my neck, hugging me tightly. He then whispered, "You're back so quickly. How was the banquet?"

I started caressing his back slowly and replied, "It was mayhem since I brought those two with me. They were quiet on the outside but they were like buzzing bees constantly inside my head complaining and sharing their thoughts. They were quite obvious as well when they showed jealousy towards Dimitri, Aurum and the other four guys."

I heard his modulated but soft laughter next to my ear. He then teased me, "What do you expect? Even till now, they have still not gotten fully used to me being your first husband. What more if you bring 6 guys immediately into the mix and have them share the same place with them? I am quite jealous too. I just learned how to control it and not show it so as not to put you in a difficult position."

I used both my hands to grab the sides of Ioannis' face to bring them in front of mine. I gave him several kisses on his lips and all around his face making him giggle. I praised him overdramatically, "Why are you so nice and understanding? What did I do to deserve you, huh? You always treat me the best!"

He rolled his eyes at me and replied, "Yeah. I am the best out of everyone so you need to treat me well. Our babies are so cute and I think my body has recovered quite a lot. Can we have more once the twins turn one?"

I smirked at the guy and teased back, "I don't like breaking promises so I would honor the original agreement." He looked at me in confusion and he turned red. He then spoke loudly, "I am willing to cancel that original agreement. We can have another child next year!"

I looked away and sulkily answered, "Nope. That was not what you said. You even had a tantrum about having a strict two-year rest period. We'll have another one when the twins turn two. It not like we can't do the act of making babies throughout that time."

It was his turn to pout then he started struggling to get out of my embrace. I held on him tighter and whispered, "Have you forgotten that the others are still waiting to have their own babies? It is unfair to them if you are on your second one already when they haven't had their first. Don't you think?"

He looked at me and his eyes showed realization. He then nodded and answered, "I am sorry, I got too greedy. As the main consort, I do have to show fairness in everything. I understand where you are coming from. When will it be my turn again?"

I sighed heavily and buried my face on his neck this time. I murmured, "There's Kayden and Dimitri. Laerad and Samir demanded to have their turn next. I have to add Lark on the list. I am not sure what to do with Aurum and his group yet. We also have those three sleeping guys upstairs. Just thinking about it is reducing my lifespan by decades if that was even possible."

Ioannis laughed and then asked, "If I do some counting, am I at the 14th spot in the line. Am I correct?"

I did not respond immediately and he shook my body a bit for a response. I spoke softly and finally replied, "Don't be angry, okay?"

Ioannis furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "Why would I be angry? I was just asking."

I responded with a soft voice, "When I did my own count, you should be around 18th in the line?"

Ioannis' eyes went round like saucers then he closed him slowly. He then sighed heavily and responded with a helpless tone, "Fine. I understand. As long as you will still give me a chance to have your child. It doesn't matter if I have to wait more than two years."

I hugged Ioannis and calmed him down, "I am planning to try something new to get over with my issue of not being able to take care of you and the twins then not being able to handle other things and places too as efficiently as I could. I am working on it so please be patient, okay?"

He hugged me tight and responded, "You don't have to beg me or apologize to me. I trust that you will treat me well and our children no matter how many other men come."

I hugged him tighter and we stayed like that in silence for a while. With this talk, though the topics were quite heavy, I was able to have renewed energy and a new perspective as well. I really have to do something about being able to give attention fairly to the members of my growing family.
