Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 131: You Have Two Days

"Ok... If you are so smart, why didn't you do anything meaningful with your life?" Sunny asked, turning to face Draco.

"Because I was powerless," Draco replied, the words a hollow echo.

He waved his hand, and the visual on the screen shifted. Sunny watched as Draco, a younger version of himself, practiced with a wooden sword. With a swift, fluid motion, he swung the blade, sending a crescent of energy slicing through the air. The energy blade soared forward, bisecting a towering mountain with effortless grace.

"....?!" Sunny was stunned into silence.

"Wow! My son is the best! At age 15, you are already in the Heavenly Rank! I am so proud!!" A woman's voice rang out. She walked toward the young Draco, her hands clapping, a beautiful, proud smile on her face.

"Heavenly Rank? No... That isn't right." Sunny turned to Draco, his expression a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

"You thought I was useless? No... I was the strongest in my generation... Only my parents and uncle knew that."

"Then how did you become a Soul Foundation?" Sunny asked, a deep frown etched on his face.

"Come on, there's something you need to know... You have my memories, but 70% of it has been sealed away," Draco said, his tone serious.

"It's time you know everything. And I hope from now on, you will always make the right choices."

A white gate appeared before them. Draco walked toward it without hesitation and stepped through. Sunny, still reeling from the revelation, quickly followed.

WHOOSH!!

They reappeared inside the Star Nation castle, right in the kitchen.

"Why are we here?" Sunny asked, frowning at his surroundings.

"Watch," Draco said, folding his arms across his chest.

Sunny watched as the kitchen door opened, and Matilda and Joshua walked in. Their gazes swept around the empty room, and seeing no one, they began to make out.

"...?!"

Sunny's frown deepened. "Why are you showing me this?"

"Watch," Draco cut him off again.

Sunny sighed, his patience wearing thin, and watched the two in silence as they kissed.

"This is what you asked for," Joshua said, pulling a small vial from his pocket and handing it to Matilda.

"Thanks." Matilda took the vial, walked to a drink on the table, uncorked it, and poured the transparent white substance inside.

"Are you sure about this?" Joshua asked, a hint of hesitation in his voice.

"Yes... He won't feel a thing. The drug will slowly kill him... He is powerless, a fool without a cosmic brain... I'll just use him until his time comes." She said with a smile, then bent her body toward Joshua.

"What are you waiting for? Come and have me, we don't have time."

Joshua nodded, quickly took off his pants, and moved toward her.

Draco snapped his fingers, and the memory paused. He then flicked his finger again, and the kitchen door swung wide open, revealing a familiar figure.

".....?!!"

Sunny froze. He was staring at Draco, who stood in the doorway with a pained expression, his face a mask of hurt as he listened to every word Matilda had just said.

"You?! You knew she was poisoning you?!!" Sunny yelled, his voice thick with disbelief.

"Yes," Draco nodded, his eyes filled with a distant sadness. "I also knew about their relationship, her sleeping with him at any second she got."

"I don't understand. You know all this, and you just watched it happen?! As the Emperor, you could have caught them here and killed them both! Adultery is a serious crime in all nations." Sunny's voice rose with each word.

"I could have done that, but the penalty for adultery is death..." He turned his head to look at Matilda's paused image.

"Although she slept with another man, my best friend at that... I still love her..." He closed his eyes, a deep sigh escaping his lips.

"I almost kicked open that door and killed him with my own hands, but I held back... I was powerless." He chuckled darkly, the sound devoid of humor.

"Maybe you are right, I am pathetic."

"How are you powerless?" Sunny asked, his brows knitted in a deep frown.

"You've heard this name, Lester Blood, right?" Draco asked, opening his eyes and looking directly at Sunny.

Sunny nodded.

"Let's go to the very beginning."

Draco snapped his fingers, and their surroundings shifted once more. They disappeared from the kitchen, reappearing in a huge room that looked like a laboratory. Before them stood two colossal tubes filled with an unknown liquid. Inside these tubes were Sunny and Bella, both naked and suspended in the translucent fluid.

"...?!"

Sunny was dumbfounded, his gaze fixed on the surreal sight.

"These tubes are called Cosmic Tubes... As my mother explained, these will make us age faster than normal humans... But our appearance will never change," Draco explained.

"Haven't you ever wondered why you're 70 years old but look like a 20-year-old? And why Josephine is only 23?"

"You're saying this here is the reason?" Sunny asked, his eyes wide as he stared at the tubes.

"Yes... Only a very few get this opportunity. I am the crown prince of the Star Nation, and Bella is favored by my mother."

"What about Matilda?" Sunny asked.

"She is the only daughter of the Fearless Family, and her father helped her with it... Matilda is 75 years old now... What I am saying is, find a way to get Ellen and Josephine in here. Give them long lives."

Sunny nodded in understanding. He opened his mouth to speak, "You haven't answered my question."

Draco chuckled, and the surroundings changed again. Now they were in a dense forest, standing on a tree branch high above the ground. Below them, a younger Draco was surrounded by ten ferocious Wendigos.

"I got ambushed on my way back home," Draco began, staring at the Wendigos as they lunged forward with bloodlust.

"But thanks to the experiment done on me, I defeated all these ants... Then--"

WHOOSH!!

Sunny and Draco looked ahead as a ball of light materialized before the exhausted Draco.

"I saw it," Draco muttered, a hint of awe in his voice.

"Sunny Draco... Your universe will soon be destroyed by a powerful force," the ball of light said, its voice echoing with an ethereal quality.

"What?" Draco was stunned.

"Yes... And there is only one way to save it."

"Who are you?!" Draco demanded, a deep frown on his face.

"I am lending a hand to help you and myself... Lester Blood will soon locate your world, and it will get erased... Only you can stop him."

"Who is this Lester Blood?!" Draco asked again, his voice sharp.

"A very powerful entity," the light answered.

Draco fell silent, his mind racing. After a moment of hesitation, he asked, "How can I save my world?"

"Destroy your core and return to the Soul Foundation rank. Also... Permanently shut down your Cosmic Brain, and turn a blind eye to everything Matilda does. Never stop her, or your world will disappear from existence... These are the only things you have to do."

"You?! Are you mad?!!!" Draco yelled, his body radiating a palpable killing intent.

"Who sent you?!" he demanded again.

"As I said, no one sent me... You already lost both your parents; the mission failed and your parents' bodies will be brought to the castle... If you want to stop more deaths, this is what you need to do." The light's words stunned Draco, leaving him speechless.

"Remember, you have two days to decide. Failure to do this will decide the fate of your world." The light disappeared from the forest, leaving a stunned Draco behind.
