The air hung heavy with the scent of dust. A soft nod was all Sunny gave, a quiet acknowledgement. "I haven't heard anything," he said, the words as calm as a still lake.

He paused, a flicker of thought in his eyes, before looking over his shoulder at Star.
"Start cultivating," he instructed, his voice low and firm.
With that, he leaped into the air and landed fifty yards away, settling into a cross-legged position on the cracked earth. Star watched him for a moment, her gaze fixed on his form, before she mirrored his actions, sitting on the ground right in front of the Celestial energy stones.

A force field barrier shimmered to life, enveloping her. Then, millions of Grand Class Mercenaries materialized, forming a perfect circle with her at the center.
'He is always putting on a calm face,' she thought, her eyes closed, absorbing the immense energy from the celestial stones.
'From the day I was resurrected, he hasn't shown a bit of fear. I know he is afraid and angry, but he won't say or show it. All I can do is obey.'
A fierce resolve hardened within her. 'No matter what... I must master my celestial energy and break through to the celestial rank... No! I must try to surpass his expectations.'
Sunny looked over his shoulder at Star, who was now completely enveloped in a swirling shroud of black energy:
'I hope she unlocked her bloodline's full potential,' he thought, and then, he spoke to the System.
"You know what to do," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "Use all EXP. I don't care if the process will be painful, just make sure I'm strong enough to face that cat..."
The System manifested beside him, taking on a humanoid form.

'I knew it, entering such a rank won't be that easy,' he thought, pushing himself up.
"Wait a second." Sunny stared at his hands in shock, then raised his head, taking in his surroundings. He was in a black void, a space devoid of everything—no light, no soul, nothing. Most jarring of all, he was human.
He stared at the suit he was wearing—the same one he used to wear to work back on Earth. In a simple sense, he was back in his own body.

A light flickered on behind him, causing Sunny to spin around.
"Huh?"
He stared at the single figure standing under the light. It was none other than Sunny, the body he had taken over—the real one.

Enraged, he stormed toward the smiling guy. The moment he was close enough, he threw a punch.

He delivered a straight punch to the guy's cheek, but to his shock, they both felt the pain.
"Ouch! That hurt," the guy said, rubbing his jaw. "At least I'm not the only one who felt the pain."
"You!" Sunny was livid. Even knowing he'd feel the pain, he threw another punch, but this time, the guy dodged, stepping back.
"Hey... Calm down, why are you angry with me?" he asked with a frown.
"You!!" Sunny yelled, his voice raw with fury.
"It's because of you I'm in this situation!! You're an emperor, but not a single senator or soldier was behind you!! Are you that pathetic?!" He added, his voice dripping with scorn:
"Because we have the same name doesn't mean I want to share your pain!! I should have entered your body and lived like a King--"

"Don't change the subject, you pathetic pig!" Sunny rushed forward, only to be kicked to the ground.

They both growled in pain.

"I won't bring myself to call you my name, so Draco it will be." Sunny stood up, still clutching his chest.
"How come you're so powerful?" he asked, a frown creasing his brow.
"You're currently in your human body, while I'm in the main body," Draco answered. "Did that answer your question?"
Sunny nodded in understanding:
"I'm not angry because of all that. I'm angry because my daughter is in danger. If I was the emperor, none of this would have happened."
"Yes... And you wouldn't have gotten Josephine, Star, Ellen, Jinx, Nioh, and the others," Draco said, his voice softening.
"Everything happened for a reason." He continued:
"Once you calm down and think, you'll understand."
"Understand what?"

The two of them turned to their side, staring at a screen that had appeared before them. It showed the humanoid cat walking toward Sunny and the group.
"This?" Sunny raised an eyebrow.
"That guy is a lot stronger than you, but you have powers and skills to face him head-on... But you didn't. Instead, you charged forward like a crazy man and got beaten."
"He is a lot stronger, my skills won't have any effect on him."
"That is where you're wrong, Sunny!! When you transformed, all your stats gained an insane increase in strength... Not only that, you will have the powers of all unlocked bloodlines. You didn't use any and just attacked... And the result."
