"So you haven't heard it from your mother or Laura"
Alisia shook her head confirming his question.
"Well, it's like this…."
Rex explained to her but he didn't go into much details like George since she had mostly heard from her mother before since she always told them about his situations and how he is doing when they inquired about him as well as that he didn't want her to get angry for himself so he maintained the story to a minimum.
During those times, he didn't have much time. He could only talk with Aunt Mei for a moment and tell her how he was doing and then stop. During his academy years, Rex had been able to maintain some communication, but his time in the army was different. There was no visits though there was some communication done, it was close to none for the most part.
Though his academy time was quite enjoyable as well, his only regret would be that he wasn't able to fully enjoy it. As for the reason why, he didn't want to think about it anymore.
"So, you are going to stay here forever"

Despite the entire thing he told her, she picked up the question that she was interested in the most. But not energetic like Clarissa, she just smiled.
"What have you been doing these years?"
Rex also started a conversation with her which lasted for a while. But afterwards he asked her the main purpose of coming into this room.
"Alisia, why did you stop me from meeting Sarah?"
"Well, sister became like that when you stopped coming home"
"But after a bit of time, she came back to normal"
"She cried a lot and then for the next few days, she became like she is now, moody"
Rex nodded, understanding what she wanted to say.
"Did you also cry, Alisia"
Seeing that she didn't speak, Rex just came near to her and brushed her head.
"If you don't want to say it, you don't need to"
"I am leaving now"
Alisia who was left in the room stretched her hands towards Rex as if she wanted to say something but seeing the door close, she touched her head which was brushed by Rex's hands.
"Big brother is still the same as ever"

In the early morning when the sun has just started to come up, there could be seen a girl who was hugging a boy stopping him from moving. there were two other girls who were bigger than her who were standing on the side but one thing was the same for all three of them were the tears in their eyes.
"Please don't leave me, big brother"
"Alisia, I am not going forever"
"I will come back in a while"
She started to slowly release her strength on her grip and it let Rex out. He looked at Alisia who was still sniffing her nose looking at him with tears in her eyes.
"When I come back, I will bring lots of toys for you"
"Okay"
He brushed her hair with his hand while holding out his pinky finger with another. As he thought so, Alisia also held out her pinky as she said,
"Promise"
"Promise"
He would always be back during summer and the three of them would wait at the door but one year as the three of them waited, there was no sign of Rex. That summer, the three girls waited at the door for Rex's return. But he didn't come. Year after year, they waited, only to be met with disappointment.

Now, with Rex finally home, a myriad of emotions came to Alisia's heart but it also came with a bit of hesitance. Was he really the same big brother she played with, adored. Years of not meeting each other made it a bit strange for her. But seeing that he was still the same big brother, Alisia felt better and she felt her shyness to him decreasing and becoming closer in her heart just like always.
Still, she was still a bit shy and couldn't bring herself to admit that she had cried for him too. Her gaze shifted to the stuffed rabbit on her bed and started punching it.

Rex coming out from Alisia's room, saw the empty plate in front of Sarah's room and smiled a little as he went to grab it. He knew that Sarah didn't hate him nor did Alisia. He had already used his skill on both of them and their favourability of him was above 80. He could only take it slow. He didn't expect it to be like Laura who was (write words) to him.
Looking at the points in front of him, it was enough for 35 rolls in the newbie wheel that is.
