I Need Wives For My Gacha System

Walking their way towards the village, Laura left with Clarissa first because she knew that Rex had to deal with something. She was ready to deal with those people just in case as she prepared her wind magic but she had never used it to combat, she was a bit worried that she might overuse her magic since she knew these people had no little to no cultivation. Both Clarissa and her though had above Essence Absorption cultivation with each of them being at 5th and 7th, they were sheltered since young and didn't know how to fight.

The cultivation realms were divided into ten with the first being Root Awakening, Essence Absorption, Spiritual Foundation, Harmonization, Soul Forge, Manifestation, Heaven's Link, Heaven's Will, Ascendant's Awakening and Transcendence. They were also termed as Rank 1 to 10 with sub stages present from 1 to 10 as well.

They headed their way towards the village while talking and Rex caught up with them. After leading Clarissa back to her house, they also left towards their own.

As for the two fellows before, they were ready to act as soon as they felt a few auras appear from their senses. 

"Old six, I thought you were watching the surroundings"

"Huh, I was though"

"How did they manage to appear"

He felt the three auras with bad intentions. 

"Aet ready to act"

"Huh, those fellows are just in the Root Awakening realm"

"Why don't I leave it to you"

"Don't be lazy, we need to act together?"

"I don't think it might even be needed"

He sensed the aura which was incoming from which Old six pointed and felt that it was familiar. It was Rex.

"You sure he can handle it"

"I am sure, even if he lost his cultivation now, he can deal with these pipsqueaks"

He relaxed, he knew that the sense of old six were most of the time correct.

"Come out"

They heard the voice clearly. Though they could not see what was happening outside, they could still sense it.

"Is he mentioning to us, Old five"

"Of course not, just wait"

The next day, Rex had already gone for a jog with Clarissa. She seemed now closer than before and her favourability seemed to have jumped up to 98, Laura was also the same. 

After showering, he headed to the dining room to have his breakfast but stopped when he heard voices near the front door. He heard the opening of the door and turned to see two beautiful girls, one with chestnut hair and striking violet eyes, the other with silver hair and light blue eyes. The chestnut-haired girl stepped forward, dropping the suitcase in her hand to the ground, and assumed a defensive stance.

"Who are you?"

"Why are you in our house?"

She looked as if she knew martial arts but the form which she took was not even good which Rex saw immediately. They looked similar and looking at the suit cases, he realized immediately who they were. As for the reason why they might not recognize him, he didn't mind. Afterall, there was a lot of change before he left and now. Before he could answer, a familiar voice called out,

"Oh, Sarah, Alisia! You're already back."

Madeleine appeared, smiling warmly.

"Mom, who is he?"

"Who else, it's your older brother"

"Hurry up and greet him"

At the dining table, everyone sat together with Madeleine at the center, Rex to her left, followed by Laura, with Sarah and Alisia on her right. Madeleine served everyone, but Sarah noticed that Rex's bowl always seemed to receive the largest portions. Though Madeleine gave food to all of them, the disparity was clear. Sarah frowned, feeling a pang of irritation.

Rex, oblivious, ate everything without complaint. His seemingly bottomless appetite never seemed to affect his physique. Finally, Sarah couldn't hold back any longer. She stood up and asked sharply.

"Since when did we have an older brother"

"It's Rex, Sarah"

Laura answered her while adding more food into Rex's plate which already had a lot of rice and other types of dishes. Sarah's eye couldn't help but twitch at this sight but upon hearing the name, she fell silent for a moment before continuing, her voice trembling slightly

"Even if it's Rex, why is he here? Didn't he leave before?"

She was a little affected by emotion, putting her hands on the table but she forgot to control her strength and she slammed her hands on the table which received a glare from Madeleine.

"Sarah, why are you raising your voice and making a commotion"

"Weren't you the one who wanted to see him the most"

Madeleine not knowing why she was acting like this tried to question her. 

"No! Who would want to see this guy?"

Sarah replied back, her face flushed. She quickly stood up and stormed away.

"Hey, where are you going? Finish your breakfast,"

Madeleine called after her, but Sarah didn't stop.

"I'm full,"

Madeleine sighed, resting her chin on one hand and the other supporting her breasts.

"She's never acted like this before"

"I don't know what's gotten into her"

"Cheer up mom, she should just be tired from the trip and was a bit angsty"

Laura tired to comfort Madeleine who was a little worried for Sarah. Her three daughters were always very supportive and obedient that she didn't know what to do in this situation which she never really faced before. 

"Aunt Mei, it might be related to me"

"How about I try to talk to her"

Madeleine thought or a moment before agreeing. 

"Alright, but eat first"

"Sarah, are you in there"

There was only silence. No reply.

"Sarah, I know I left for a while without contact"

"But I am back now"

"How about we talk things through

Still no response. Rex glanced at the breakfast tray in his hand and sighed.

"You didn't eat much"

"I brought some breakfast for you"

Turning the door knob, he open the door, intending to enter the room. However, as soon as he pushed the door slightly, a sharp voice came from inside.

"Don't come in"

A pillow came flying from inside, hitting the door with a thud. Rex thought for a moment whether to continue or not but stopped when he felt a gentle tugging on his sleeve. He looked back to see Alisia. 

"It's better not to disturb her right now"

She said in a low shy voice looking down without looking into his eyes. Even though she was already nearing 30 her height was still quite short and compared to Rex she could only reach a bit below his chest. Rex looked at the tray in his hand which he wanted to give her. He sighed and left it on the ground in front of her room. Following Alisia, Rex went to her room. Rex sat on the chair looking at Alisia who was sitting on the bed. 

"Big brother, can you tell me what happened"

Alisia asked curiously. Even though she was quite shy and reserved in front of others, this was her older brother whom she had spent her childhood with. She was trying to talk to him more, in order to become close like they always used to.

"About what"

Rex didn't know what she wanted to know about him.

"Why you are here now?"

"Are you staying for a while"

She asked still a bit shy as she tugged her hair as she spoke nervously but looking into his eyes with her big watery eyes.
