Hero or Villain, Both

"What are you doing? I'm creating this opportunity for you and you're not taking it?"

When I heard Faust's voice in my mind, I realized what he was aiming for when he did this.

He was creating an enemy for me to defeat so I could be the saviour of these goliaths.

In that case…

"Boom! Shatter!"

A single punch was all that was needed to create a hole in the bone golem that was in front of me.

The goliaths all looked at me in shock when they saw me punch a hole in the bone golem like this, but then they were even more shocked when the bone golem suddenly collapsed after a hole was punched in it.

It was as if they couldn't believe that I was able to take down this bone golem in one punch.

However, I didn't care as I stepped forward towards the next bone golem.

The same thing happened where a single punch was all that it took to create a hole in this bone golem and then it collapsed apart.

"You! Why is it you again?!" Faust shouted the moment that I crushed the second bone golem.

I couldn't help giving a secret bitter laugh, but I held this inside of me as I said to Faust, "I came all the way down here to stop you! You won't get away from me this time, you foul creature!"

As soon as my voice fell, I charged forward at Faust.

When he saw this, he waved his hand and the bone golems came right at me.

However, the bone golems no longer acted on their own.

With Faust controlling them, it seemed like there was a unified mind behind these golems as they started working together against me.

They immediately surrounded me so that I wouldn't have any space to move, but that didn't mean a thing as I could still punch holes in them with a single punch.

With just a few punches, I was able to easily create a path out for myself.

Though I didn't take that path as I turned around to face the other bone golems that had surrounded me to take care of them as well.

"Damn!" I could hear Faust saying behind me before I saw the bone golems suddenly withdraw.

Though they withdrew, it wasn't that they were running away.

Instead, it seemed like they were using a different tactic to fight.

What happened was that the bone golems seemed to meld together before forming a wave of bones in front of me. With the way that the wave of bones came at me, it was almost as if the bones wanted to smother me instead of attacking me.

But even then, I wasn't worried as I used a different technique.

Instead of a normal punch, I used a special shockwave punch that blew away the bones that were coming at me.

That single shockwave was enough to blow away all of the bones that had been coming at me. The single shockwave was more than enough to blow all the bones away, but I did hold back a little.

Just like how Faust held back when sending those bones at me.

We had to put on a show for the goliaths that were watching.

"How did you do that? You shouldn't be able to do something like that!" Faust said in a voice that was filled with shock.

I couldn't help giving another secret bitter laugh when I heard this.

Who would have thought that Faust would be this into acting…

In the end, I did the same as I said, "Do you think that you're the only one that can become stronger? I've learned new techniques while chasing you down!"

The way that the goliaths were looking at me had completely changed.

Now they were looking at me with eyes that were filled with admiration that made me feel a bit bad since we were tricking them.

"Since you've come this far, I have no choice but to use my final move!"

As soon as Faust's voice fell, he raised his hands above his head and there was a dark energy that gathered there. It really seemed like he was gathering all of his power to release one final big attack.

I didn't hesitate to charge at Faust when he did this.

While I was charging, the bone golems formed again and they tried to stop me.

They didn't even care if they were blown apart, all that they cared about was getting in my way to stop me from approaching Faust.

Only they really didn't do anything to help him.

All that happened was that when they came in front of me, they were blown away by a single punch from me. The shockwave that came from my punch actually sent the bones that these bone golems were made of at Faust.

If he hadn't prepared a magic barrier ahead of time, then he would have been stabbed by those bones.

But since there was a magic barrier in the way, he was able to prevent himself from being hit by the bones that had been sent at him.

I just kept going until I reached Faust and was about to punch him.

However before my fist could make contact with him, the dark energy that had been gathered above Faust was suddenly released.

It came out as a spike of dark energy that was aimed right at me.

I quickly changed the direction of my fist and it went right at the spike of dark energy that was coming at me.

There was a powerful shockwave that was released when my fist clashed with the spike of dark energy, but it didn't seem like either side was going to back down until one final explosion came out.

Both Faust and I were blown back because of this explosion.

When the dust settled, the two of us were staring at each other.

There was a streak of blood that came out of my mouth.

As for Faust, there was a crack that appeared on his skull.
