The whole region was extremely white , completely covered in ice.

Several blizzards akin to raging storms swept through the surroundings-towering peaks of mountains piercing through the clouds ,obscured by the frigid humidity of the region.

Various attacks of different magnitudes reverberated on the battlefield , each lethal ,packed with profound power.

Several affinities dominated the region ,painting the whole area in an overtone of different colors.

Whatever battle was taking place , was not ordinary.

Suddenly , a figure crashed into one of these mountains , sending cataclysmic shockwaves spreading throughout the region.

Silence prevailed for a moment ,until the mountain

cracked ,breaking into smithereens as though some omnipotent force had decided to destroy it.

However , shockingly , the figure that had crashed into the mountian remained unhurt , seen hovering on the air, with a regal ,calm demeanor.

Long pointy beautiful ears.

Snow white hair .

An extremely beautiful and graceful face.

Green armor with archaic runes running through them , fitting her tall ,beautiful figure.

And most peculiarly , calm , mesmerizing eyes.

" Everlong Atrexia, Just give it up . You are surrounded from every corner . Accept your death in good faith " An Orc spoke with a babaric gaze , his masculine frame and voice on full display , as a heavy axe remained draped across his right shoulder ,it's handle firmly gripped by his right hand packing with muscles.

This was the fellow that had landed the attack that led her crashing into the mountain.

Everlong, an elf prodigy , having profound mastery over the wind affinity , stood silent , her gaze snapping sharply across her .

Several individuals from different races , had banded together to get rid of her , the third place on the exams rankings , an attempt of theirs to secure higher rankings in one fell swoop.

" They think I'm weak huh. An easy target "

It seemed she had to go all out.

Everlong didn't even reply them.

Her adverseries only sensed slight movements in the wind.

Until suddenly ,

In a time that wouldn't even be deemed a split second or less,

Several collosal wind swords that cast large shadows on all beneath , stirred to life.

Each, one of them ,moved.

Undeterred , lethal.

The winds swords cut through the air ,causing the very air itself to bend and tear apart.

They shot towards her attackers with swift speed , so fast that her beseigers couldn't even have time to react to the attacks.

Heads rolled ,when the wind swords met their targets.

Blood of different colors sprayed like a fountain , covering the normally white snowy region in an overtone of different colors.

Everlong stared at the corpses of those who had dared attack her- having plummeted towards the snowy ground, with a sigh.

" I just wanted to pass this exams in peace "

She muttered.

Her gaze snapped towards the holographic screen.

Another sigh followed " Esimo is pretty famous. Not surprised he's in second place . But this Kailen Darkhaven... Heh, it seems things will get exciting .

Finally , people who can help me challenge myself to grow stronger. It seems campus life won't be so boring. Anyway when is this whole exams ending"

Everlong sighed ,disappearing from the ice infested region.

The examination went on as usual.

Brutal scenes played out as participants killed each other for points .

Some encountered deadly traps in the regions of the examination planet that claimed their lives .

In open daylight in one of the examination regions , a former forest now turned an apocalyptic setting, a young man with black hair and a pale athletic build , clad in long coat could be seen seated across a couple of corpses of individuals from different races with a bored expression on his face.

This person was of course ,Kailen.

Amidst the carnage he had just wrought , he was eating some sort of barbacued meat he had roasted with his infinite Alchemy flame as though the corpses had nothing to do with him.

Many would even find it unsettling to eat in such a gory setting, yet he seemed unbothered.

Frankly, Kailen felt somehow comfortable in such an environment .

Several examinees had made the mistake of attacking him to claim the bounty on his head,only to be sent to the afterlife by him. These were the corpses currently lying at his feat

His gaze snapped sharply towards a couple of examinees hiding from him in fear ,having used some concealing techniques.

Yet,apart from Kailen's elemental mirroring ,even his shadow sense was enough to make out their presence.

Kailen had no time to deal with these bastards.

" Care to give the bounty on my head a try?. You are welcome to give me free points"

His voice was playful ,directed towards them, a cold smirk tugging at the edge of his lips.

" Damn! ,he discovered us"

" Let's get out of here . Maybe he will spare us"

" Yes, it was stupid of us to think we could gang up on him"

" Bless the souls of those guys who went and used themselves as scape-goats"

"Yeah, thanks to them, we know this guy cannot be messed with. Let's scram"

Agreeing, they disappeared from the vicinity ,praying that Kailen does not pursue them after discovering that they were hiding from him.

Kailen scoffed, watching them leave.

" That's what I thought "

His gaze snapped back towards the barbecued meat ,as a particular memory resurfaced .

" I wonder how Micheal is doing. It's times like this that I miss his barbecue "

Somewhere on earth in Antartica , a certain person in deep meditation, seated in a lotus position atop a mountain peak, suddenly sneezed.

He shook the thoughts to the back of his mind, resuming his training .

Kailen was about to muse to himself about when the exams would end, when a notification appeared before him.
