False Villain : Anunnaki System vs Demon Contract

Chapter 72: 069. The Curse of Kalomba King.

"What are you talking about?" asked Reizel who was confused by his father's crazy behavior.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT MEANS IT'S TIME! REIZEL! KILL ME AND INHERIT THIS CURSE!" Herman shouted with excessive excitement like ecstasy.

Reizel didn't understand what his father meant.

Curse?

Inherit?

Kill?

Why?

The reptilian mutant man glanced back, at the kalomba king that just lying behind him.

The huge monster was silent and smiled broadly. The kalomba king didn't say anything, but that sharp gaze seemed to tell Reizel that he had to kill his father right then and there.

Reizel looked back at Herman who continued to laugh loudly. He didn't know what to do and his instinct told him not to kill his father, even though he really wanted to after what he did to Lana.

"REIZEL!" Herman stopped laughing and his emotions seemed more stable than before.

Confidently, the old man looked at Reizel with all seriousness while grinning. "You have to do it, you have to kill me now."

"You've gone mad. Why do you want me to kill you?" Reizel stepped away out of worry mixed with fear.

"The right to make a contract with the kalomba king has been passed down through generations, and now it's your turn. Kill me and pass on this curse, Reizel!"

"No! I refuse! If that's the case, then I won't do it!"

Herman chuckled. "As usual, you're a coward. You allowed me to torture and kill Lana and -"

"Shut up!"

"What's wrong, Reizel? Are you angry? Lana is weak, that's why I don't recognize her as my daughter, she's just a tool -"

Reizel lunged forward and immediately choked Herman. "I said shut up!"

Herman smiled instead. "What's wrong? kill me."

Reizel tightened his grip and his other hand was ready to punch Herman in the face, but Reizel held back, he had to hold back, he couldn't be angry, he couldn't follow his father's will.

Herman chuckled. "You're just like your mother, cowardly and timid, that's why I sacrificed her."

Reizel was silent, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "But... No! You're lying."

Herman's smile grew wider. "Did you think I would lie? That bitch tried to -"

*BRAK!

Reizel hit Herman's left chest so hard that it pierced the wooden floor.

Blood flowed from Herman's mouth and the old man looked at Reizel one last time. "You... Can't run away, you'll be tormented by this curse." Herman vomited blood. "You... will be tormented like me... Like my father, and his father..."

Herman tried to reach Reizel's face with trembling hands. "You... Are my son... And you.... Will inherited..."

Herman's hand immediately fell to the floor, the old man was no longer breathing. Herman's plan worked and he died grinning.

Reizel pulled out his bloodied hand and stared at the hand that had killed Herman, his own father.

Relieved?

No...

Satisfied?

Maybe...

Regret?

Perhaps...

The reptilian mutant man could only sigh heavily and look down in silence, in a dark room lit only by the sunlight coming from the open door.

The kalomba king moved closer to Reizel while smiling broadly. The monster grabbed Reizel's shoulders and turned into a black shadowy figure and then directly entered the man's body.

{ Welcome, Reizel. Be grateful, for you will be my new servant. }

The voice in Reizel's head sounded so loud. It wasn't a notification sound from the system, it was heavier, much heavier.

At that moment, Reizel realized, he now inherited it...

The thing that made his father act like a madman...

Reizel looked down even more, regretting his actions, but there was nothing he could do...

Not anymore...

The contents of the closet had been uncovered and a bunch of stuffed animals were scattered. Randa, who was supposed to tidy things up, sat in the corner while Ardi looked at, touched, assessed and praised all the dolls and stuffed animal.

"No! Shut up!" said Randa, trying to cover her blushing face.

The muscular woman sat in the corner holding back her embarrassment. It was an unusual sight to see someone of her size in such a position. But it was all because of a man who seemed enthusiastic about Randa's doll collection.

"Woah! This is a limited edition panda. The material is different from the usual and has a floral scent. Very cute and soft to cuddle." Ardi said enthusiastically.

The man immediately looked at Randa. "Do you like this too? I like it too."

"S... Shu... Shut up!" Randa raised her face which was embarrassed and angry at the same time. "I don't want to be lumped in with man like you! I don't like that doll! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!"

"But why, what's wrong with it? Boys can like cute things," Ardi replied innocently.

"B... But! That's disgusting! Men shouldn't like things like that! Men are supposed to be strong and manly!"

"You look strong and manly, but you still have these cute dolls."

Randa's face turned even redder. "That's... Because I'm a girl! That's a different thing!"

"So? Do you like this cute doll?" Ardi held up a brown rabbit doll that stood 20 centimeters tall.

Randa turned her face away while blushing. "Shy... Shut up!"

Ardi chuckled when he saw that kind of reaction.

--------------------------------------------------

The door opened and sunlight entered the all-black room. Reizel stepped into the room.

It looked the same as when he it. He could even smell blood everywhere. Is it because of the reptilian power she has? Or was it because of the kalomba king's power that he had just gained? Either way didn't matter to him.

Reizel looked around and found the black skull-headed figure standing in front of the bed. It was as tall as Lana and it made Reizel's heart ache.

The man approached the black creature and sat in front of it.

The black creature tilted its head to the side as if curious about the man in front of it.

Reizel knew, it was no longer his little sister, Lana was dead, he himself witnessed it, but for some reason, he still wanted to hope....

If the creature in front of him was Lana...

Without realizing it, Reizel's tears flowed by themselves. He tried to wipe the tears away but the black creature suddenly touched Reizel's face.

Reizel and the black creature stared at each other. The man knew that the creature was just curious but somehow, the touch he felt was very similar to the touch of Lana's hand.

Reizel could no longer contain his emotions and tears immediately flowed freely. The man immediately hugged the black creature tightly while crying.

"I'm sorry Lana... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
