Just then, Ye Wen noticed a faint tremor beneath his feet. Another big player seemed to be approaching, seeking death. 

Ye Wen didn't bother to pay much attention—Huo Yuer could handle this. However, when he instinctively glanced at the strange humanoid figure, he paused in surprise. 

The soul beasts of Douluo Continent were diverse, encompassing both Eastern and Western species. This chaotic mix was primarily due to Longshen's past conquests across the multiverse, during which he abducted many rare races and brought them back to this world. 

Among these races were those resembling humans. 

The soul beast approaching now was a mental-type creature called the Cyclops. Despite its burly and rugged appearance, it was classified as a mental-type, which felt somewhat off. However, its bulbous, lamp-like eye clearly indicated its attribute. 

This Cyclops was no ordinary specimen—it was a special variant known as the Twin-Headed Cyclops. 

Its appearance was unique: where a Cyclops normally had a single head, this one had two heads side by side. 

This mutation was beneficial, granting the already mental-attribute Cyclops even greater mental power compared to its peers. 

Though Ye Wen hadn't studied soul beasts extensively, he became curious upon seeing this one. Which of the two heads controlled the body's movements? 

But these questions weren't the main concern. At this moment, the Twin-Headed Cyclops appeared panicked, fleeing recklessly and ignoring the injuries inflicted by the surrounding forest, as if running for its life. 

Watching this familiar scene, Ye Wen narrowed his eyes slightly. It seemed he wouldn't have to wait long for conflict to erupt.
