Dancing Between The Hearts- Tylia and Theo

Chapter 11: A Day of Doubt

Today was supposed to be a day for Tylia and Chris to honour their love, but she felt indifferent. Rather, her thoughts wandered to their future relationship and how long it might last.

Besides, she didn't wish to be the one who caused their relationship to fall apart. As for Theo, she was aware of the dream's supposition. But she doesn't want to be like the well looking for its bucket. If Theo were destined to be her husband, she would let their relationship develop in its own time.

As Oliver was ready to be her chauffeur tonight, he waited for Tylia in the hospital's lobby. Tylia appeared from the far end of the lobby, and he called her, "This way, young miss!"

Tylia smiled as she nodded. She quickened her steps and followed Oliver to the parking lot nearby. He opened and held the door for Tylia. Until his young miss properly sat in the car, the door closed, and Oliver quickly went to the driver's seat.

Lilian had shared the details with him earlier, but he inquired to start their conversation, "To the Starlight Hotel?"

"Yes, to the Starlight Hotel," Tylia responded. Her smile was bright as she looked forward to enjoying the night.

As the car headed down the street, Oliver said, "We're heading there now!"

"Yes, uncle. Wish me it would be the most wonderful night of Valentine that I ever had," she giggled.

"Of course! I'm sure you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Starlight Hotel. It was the best place of choice for romantic couples."

"Is that true?" Tylia straightened her back as she leaned close to the driver's seat.

"Yeah, I'm telling you the truth. The design was stunning. I bet you would be charmed by the decoration, especially the garden. There was roses pet─"

"Really? I suddenly can't wait to get there," Tylia exclaimed with growing excitement. "Don't tell more, uncle. I want to be surprised by it. Did you ever go there, uncle?"

"Yes, I just came straight from there. I just took a walk. It was a nice place to relax, too," he said. Tylia could see Oliver was smiling brightly when he talked about it. She narrowed her eyes as she sensed something and inquired, "Did your crush happen to be at the Starlight Hotel today, Uncle? Or was she employed there?"

As Tylia knew, Oliver was a bachelor. She was guessing his mood brightened because there was a reason for meeting someone special there. The Starlight Hotel was far from Cinamon City, and it took hours to travel there. How could Oliver manage to go back and forth and go there again just for fun? Oliver became silent as that question caught him, and his cheeks reddened.

"How did she know?" he thought. He was not ready to discuss it because he was stalking the woman he liked. It might be an embarrassment if someone knew his behaviour.

"Nah, uncle. I'm just joking with you," Tylia giggles. "Uncle knows how to be shy, huh!" she thought and laughed inwardly. Oliver felt much relieved, and they maintained their conversation through the way.

After a long journey, they finally arrived. Tylia was greeted by the hotel staff, who directed her to the presidential suite on the top floor. After a long trip, they finally arrived. Tylia was welcomed by the hotel staff, who directed her to the presidential suite on the top floor. Since it was early, she had time to rest before the makeup artist, set up by Aela, arrived.

"Miss Jackson, this is your room. If anything you need, reach me through the line," the staff said politely. He opened the door and let it ajar for Tylia to enter and leave.

"It is beautiful!" Tylia gasped. The room was decorated with pink flower petals and soft, dim light through the space with candlelight. The designed wall and the bed were dominated by dark and beige accents, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. She could feel there was a romantic ambience.

Tylia changed her shoes into slippers. She shrugged off her jacket and put it aside. Slowly, she took steps as she enjoyed the enchanting romantic vibe. She took a deep inhale; it made her feel much more relaxed.

"Not bad. It might be a good choice not to decline the effort that Auntie Aela had made," she muttered with a slight smile.

Tylia fished her phone from her pocket and called her mother. Then, she set the alarm and took a nap.

The makeup artists arrived earlier than expected. When she approached the front desk, the receptionist greeted her with a welcoming smile. "Welcome."

"Hi there, I'm Dianne Cruz. I'm here for Ms Tylia Jackson," she responded.

"Just a moment, please," the staff said, promptly dialling her manager on the fix-line. She led Dianne to the nearby sofa and informed her that the manager was on her way down.

"Please wait for a moment. Our manager Ms Claudia was on her way here. Would you have a drink?"

"Thank you, but no thank you," Dianne said. It took a minute before the manager arrived. Claudia Lee was forty-four, yet her radiant smile made everyone feel warm. As she came from the elevator, she greeted Dianne.

"Ms Dianne Cruz? I'm sorry to make you wait."

"It's okay. It was nice here," Dianne's tone was sincere and warm.

Dianne came from Bay Leaf City, and this was her first time at Starlight Hotel. She was surprised by the layout of the decorations, which appeared simple but detailed and luxurious. Also, the hotel's scenery, rich in flower petals, brightened the mood of Valentine's Day.

"Please follow me. I will lead you to Ms Jackson," Claudia said, and she took the lead to the elevator.

Shortly after, they reached the highest level of the hotel. "We're here," Claudia said. Before Claudia and Dianne arrived, the staff informed Tylia in advance to let her know the makeup artist had arrived.

Claudia knocked on the door and asked permission to enter. "Come in," they heard a soft voice from inside, and they pushed the door gently.

Tylia was standing by the window, holding a custom-made cup. She turned around after Claudia and Dianne entered the room.

"Hello, nice to meet you," Tylia greets them first. Although she was their important client, she showed her respect as the youngest.
