Bully Lord

Part-125

Part-125

James maintained his calm demeanor. "That's my final decision. Either you agree to my terms or I cancel the order."

There was a long pause on the other end of the line. Finally, the seller relented. "Fine, but you have to pay half upfront as a deposit."

James knew this was another common scam tactic. They would ask for a partial payment and then disappear after receiving the deposit. He refused firmly.

"No, full payment upon delivery," James stated clearly. "If you agree, we can proceed. Otherwise, I'll cancel the order."

The seller seemed taken aback by James's firm stance. After a moment of silence, they relented. "Fine, but I need 2,000 BDT for transportation since I'm from the countryside," the seller said, their voice laced with a hint of desperation. "You see, the delivery costs are quite high, and I can't afford to cover them myself. It's a small amount, but it would really help me out."

James glanced at Ryan, who nodded in agreement. This was a common tactic used by scammers to gain trust. They would claim to be from a remote area to justify the need for upfront payment.

"Alright," James said, trying to sound indifferent. "Give me your account number."

The seller provided the account number, and James transferred the 2,000 BDT. "I'll be at your location tomorrow at 3 PM," the seller confirmed.

"Okay, see you then," James replied, ending the call.

He turned to Ryan, a determined look on his face. "We've got a lead," he said. "Let's hope this pans out."

The next day, as James settled into his seat, Toya entered the classroom. With a deliberate stride, she walked straight up to his desk and stood, towering over him. James, caught off guard, met her gaze without flinching.

"If I had known a hoodlum like you studied here, I wouldn't have enrolled in this school," Toya declared, her voice dripping with disdain.

James remained silent, his expression impassive. He had never spoken to her since she transferred, so the accusation baffled him.

"Don't bother me," Toya continued, her voice rising in volume. "Hoodlums like you make me sick."

With that, she turned and stalked back to her seat, her back stiff with anger. James was left staring at her retreating figure, a wave of confusion washing over him. How could she possibly think he was a hoodlum? He had never done anything to provoke her.

As the morning passed, James couldn't shake off the feeling of being unfairly accused. He tried to focus on his studies, but his mind kept wandering back to Toya's accusation. It was clear that she had a preconceived notion of him, and nothing he could do would change her mind.

James then thought to himself, "Now that I think about it, she really has a problem with how she judges people."

He then glanced at Toya. She glared back at him with scorn, her eyes filled with disdain.

James nodded to himself, confirming his thoughts. She was definitely the type of person who believed that whatever she thought was right, was indeed right.
