Bully Lord

Part-124

Ryan nodded in agreement. "If it were just scammers, it would be easy," he said, "but this mix of good and bad people is making it hard to find them."

A sudden spark of insight lit up James's eyes. "Hey, I think I found a solution," he exclaimed.

Ryan leaned forward, intrigued. "What is it?"

"We should look for items that are expensive but being sold at ridiculously low prices," James explained. "Scammers often use this tactic to lure unsuspecting buyers. If we can identify these listings, we might be able to narrow down our search."

Ryan's eyes widened in understanding. "That's a good point," he agreed. "Let's see if we can find any suspicious listings. We should also look for sellers with suspiciously low ratings or few reviews. These could be red flags."

James nodded. "We should also check the seller's history. If they have a lot of negative reviews or complaints, it's a sign that something might be wrong."

James decided to put his theory to the test. He searched for expensive items listed at suspiciously low prices. After browsing through several pages, he found a watch listed for a mere 8,000 BDT (approximately 80 USD). Knowing the actual price of such a watch was easily over 90,000 BDT (900 USD), he decided this was worth investigating.

With a sense of anticipation, he placed an order for the watch. Fifteen minutes later, his phone rang. It was the seller.

"Hello, I'm interested in the watch you posted," James said, trying to sound as casual as possible.

The seller's voice, a sharp contrast to the previous one, was hurried and impersonal. "Yes, the watch is available. I can ship it to you tomorrow."

"Can you tell me more about the watch? Like the brand, model, and features?" James pressed, trying to gather as much information as possible.

"It's a good watch," the seller replied vaguely. "You'll like it."

"But I want to know more about it before I buy it," James insisted. "Can you tell me about the pros and cons?"

The seller hesitated for a moment, then replied, "It's 100% fine. You won't regret it."

James could sense the seller's impatience. It was clear they were not interested in providing any details about the product. This was a red flag.

James persisted, "Every second-hand product has its pros and cons. Can you at least tell me the brand and model?"

The seller became increasingly impatient. "Just buy it or not. I don't have time for this."

James pressed further, "I need to know the payment method. Can I pay upon delivery?"

The seller's tone hardened. "No, advance payment only. I'll deliver it myself, so there's no delivery charge."

James knew this was a classic scam tactic. They wanted the upfront payment and then disappeared without delivering the product. He decided to play along.

"Alright, I'll buy it," James said, trying to sound as casual as possible. "But I'll pay upon delivery after inspecting the product."

The seller's voice rose in frustration. "I told you, advance payment!"
