Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

When Bai Meiyue heard Xiao Wu's scream, she cursed. Dang it, these people were really weak-willed. They killed so many people, but when it was their turn to be pushed to one corner, they actually ended up pulling such a big gun.

Bai Meiyue was not worried about the man blowing himself up; after all, the explosion would be too small, but what she was worried about were the bombs that were planted by her. Those little bombs were really powerful; if they were burnt, then this entire place would collapse!

Collecting the last of the supplies, Bai Meiyue hurled the chair that was sitting on the side of the room and then jumped out of the window, but she didn't do it before creating a water wave. She then used a wooden plank to surf in the roaring waves.

"Fuck! Boss jumped out of the window," said Xiao Wu as he looked at Bai Meiyue, who had jumped out of the warehouse and turned to look at Liu Mei before saying to her, "Step on it. It seems like things have gotten dangerous."

Liu Mei pursed her lips but didn't move. Seeing this, Xiao Wu grew anxious and he asked, "What are you trying to do? Drive —ARGHHH!"

Before he could say anything, Liu Mei stepped on the accelerator and drove down the street. Her driving was so reckless that it made Xiao Wu almost throw up. He raised his head and looked at the woman before questioning, "Can you even drive?"

"This is my first time!"

"Wait – how old are you?"

"I just turned eighteen.

Xiao Wu: "..." His life was full of Death flags! What kind of sin had he committed for him to suffer like this?

He was upset, but he didn't dare to say anything because he was too focused on saving his life.

"Turn left! Turn right—right! Oh my god, your right!" He roared while holding onto the seat of the car.

If he were not worried that he would be killed if he jumped out now, then he would have done it long ago.

Liu Mei's driving was no different than a ride to hell.

"I am trying!" Liu Mei screamed back as she turned another corner, hitting a bunch of zombies who tried to lunge at their car.

Bai Meiyue, who was watching everything, was speechless. She turned to look at Xie Li's car and said to him, "Open the door." Even if she was not scared of Liu Mei's terrifying car driving, she was pregnant and couldn't take such reckless driving.

Xie Li didn't waste any time as he opened the door of the car and let Bai Meiyue sit inside. And just as the woman slid inside, the building behind them exploded. The explosion was so loud that the entire community cracked and splintered.

Xie Li, who was driving, flinched. He turned around and saw the fire that was getting stronger and stronger behind them, and was stunned. He said to Bai Meiyue, "What the— was that man crazy? Why did he use such a strong bomb? Was he trying to kill the entire street!?"

Bai Meiyue touched her nose guiltily. How was she supposed to tell Xie Li that the man was not the crazy one; the one who was crazy was she? She was the one who used such powerful bombs.

"Keep driving."

Soon, their group arrived at the complex building, and Bai Meiyue said to Xiao Wu, "Leave the antique and gold to me; as for the rest, you can take care of them."

"That won't do." Xiao Wu shook his head and said to Bai Meiyue, "You were the one who took the majority of the danger; how can I take more than half of the supplies? I will only take the frozen meat and vegetables."

"Keep the weapons," said Bai Meiyue, as she didn't need weapons; she had enough of them herself. "You can either use them or sell them to the survivors in exchange for the crystal nuclei."

Xiao Wu wanted to refuse, but when he saw that Bai Meiyue was insisting, he had no other choice but to agree.

"Now go and rest," Bai Meiyue told the man. "And if anyone asks you, we didn't go anywhere tonight."

"Yes, Boss." Xiao Wu saluted the woman as he turned on his feet and walked to the apartment after asking his men to take down the supplies and take them to the empty apartment next to him. But as soon as he stepped inside the apartment, his eyes widened, and he let out a shrill scream that no one heard.

On the other side, Bai Meiyue, who was unaware of what happened to Xiao Wu, climbed up the stairs and reached home. She pushed open the door after entering the code and softly changed her shoes; however, just as she was about to enter and head upstairs, the lights in the living hall were turned off.

"Ah!"

Bai Meiyue jumped. She looked at her mother and two brothers, who were standing in the living room. All three of them had their arms crossed and were looking at Bai Meiyue as if they wished to smack her on the bottom, just the way they did when she was young.

"Bai Meiyue!"

Bai Meiyue flinched under the roar of her mother and raised her hands in the air, "Mom, just listen to me."

"Listen to you?!" Mother Bai was so angry that she laughed. "This is happening because we listen to you. Just tell me, Yueyue, are you trying to kill the child in your belly? Every day I tell you to stay at home and think about the child in your womb and yet you treat my words as a fart! Forget about listening to me; you don't even care about your own body."

"If you don't want the child, then just let go of him! What's the point of tormenting him like this!?" Mother Bai questioned with reddened eyes, and Bai Meiyue immediately retorted, "Who said that I don't want him?"
