Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

Chapter 481: Bai Meiyue gets scolded

Bai Meiyue walked downstairs. She took off the jade rings that the man was wearing, along with the golden chain and everything else that was valuable.

Mosquito meat was still meat!

She threw everything into the barter system and exchanged it for a few points. She then turned on her feet and headed right back upstairs. She returned to the room where Boss Du was staying and walked straight to the room which was locked at the corner.

After living in the apocalypse for so long, Bai Meiyue knew the mentality of these big bosses very well. She knew that these bosses kept the valuable supplies close to themselves or the place where they stayed. In the apocalypse, hardly any big bosses trusted any of their subordinates.

Bai Meiyue opened the door of the room and pushed it open. She peered inside the room and saw a staircase which led to the rooftop. She didn't think twice before picking up the vase and throwing it up the staircase to check if there were any traps set by dear old boss Du.

And it was only when she was certain that he hadn't set up any traps that she climbed up the stairs. It was a small staircase, and it didn't take long for Bai Meiyue to walk up to the warehouse. When she pushed open the door of the warehouse, Bai Meiyue couldn't help but smile. She wondered why all the big bosses were like this.

Why did they have to build the warehouse so close to their private room?

Bai Meiyue didn't turn the light on; instead, she took out a torch from her space pocket and then started looking around the warehouse. As soon as she turned the light on, the dark space was filled with light and what came into view shocked Bai Meiyue so much that she felt her mouth drop.

It was a small helicopter. It seemed like the man was actually preparing to escape from here after stocking enough supplies. Her eyes moved to the many emergency supplies that the man had prepared, and she smiled giddily. She only came to take revenge on the Tiger gang; she never thought that she would find such a good thing.

One had to know that the barter price of a helicopter in the barter system was really high. She could almost buy an entire warehouse full of supplies instead of buying a helicopter from the barter system. Now that she had got her hands on the helicopter, she didn't have to worry about looking for a cheaper alternative.

Good guy.

At least Boss Du was of some use to her.

She didn't even think twice before stuffing the helicopter in her space pocket and then pocketing all the supplies that were placed inside the warehouse. Once she was done, Bai Meiyue turned on her feet and walked out of the warehouse.

"I swear I heard the sound of someone banging on the door. I think there is something wrong with the boss."

"Are you sure? What if the boss gets angry at us for opening the door and disturbing his rest?"

"You idiot, think about what would happen if something happened to the boss? He is the only one who can control that Yu woman with the supplies that he stuffs inside her mouth. What will happen to us if something happens to him?"

"Don't panic and open the door first. If there is nothing, then we don't need to rush up to the boss's room. After all, he heard the sound of banging on the door."

"Get me a chainsaw."

The sound of a chainsaw echoed upstairs for a while, and Bai Meiyue arched a brow before raising her hand. The unsuspecting men had no idea as they pulled open the door, and the second they did it, water—a tide stronger than the time when a tsunami came—washed over them.

And that too, boiling hot!

Bai Meiyue waited for the wave to subside before she walked down the stairs and headed out of the building. Of course, she didn't forget to open the door where Father Fang was locked and then rushed downstairs.

There was a fierce battle going on in front of the building.

As she ran downstairs, she turned around and saw Father Fang sneaking outside and nodded before turning around and throwing a bunch of controlled bombs all over the place.

Once she was done, she searched for Xiao Wu and the rest. It didn't take long for her to find them, as she only needed to follow the scent of blood.

"Boss!"

Xiao Wu threw the man whom he had shot dead and turned to look at Bai Meiyue. He raised his hand and waved at Bai Meiyue, who was running towards him. Bai Meiyue saw that the man was severely wounded, with his hair tousled in an untidy fashion.

His arm was tied with a handkerchief that was bleeding profusely. Seeing this, Bai Meiyue walked over and handed him a vial that held a powder that could stop bleeding.

"Here, apply this," said Bai Meiyue. "It will help with the bleeding." Though this powder could not be used on serious wounds, it could still help with surface wounds.

Xiao Wu didn't even ask her what the powder was about and directly applied it to his wound. He then said to Bai Meiyue, "We have collected all the supplies. There are a few boxes that are left behind, but we don't have enough space to collect them."

When Bai Meiyue heard that there were still some supplies left, she frowned and said to Xiao Wu, "Go and tell Liu Mei that we are leaving. I will collect the leftover supplies."

As she spoke, she rushed to the warehouse that Xiao Wu had pointed to and collected all the antiques and other supplies that were stacked in the warehouse. She was quite lucky, as she found three antiques which were worth millions. However, someone rightfully said that after fortune, there comes misfortune—

"You bastards, I am going to kill you all!"

"Damn, that bastard is trying to blow himself!"
