Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

When Bai Meiyue heard Father Fang's words, she was quite surprised, as she had no idea that the truth was like this. She glanced at the old man who was sitting on the bed with only a tattered quilt that was not at all helpful when it came to blocking the cold winds. Even though there was a little heater in the room, Bai Meiyue could see that it hadn't been used for ages.

She pursed her lips; a part of her wanted to ignore Father Fang, but when she thought about how he was the only one who tried to look for her nephews after they were sold off by Fang Fei and even told her the truth that it was his daughters and son who did it, even though he knew that she was going to kill them.

Pursing her lips, Bai Meiyue threw a small gun on the bed. She said to Father Fang, "I will give you a few minutes to escape. You wait until you are sure that it's safe outside before running out and asking someone to help you."

In her last life, he had helped her and her nephews, so she would help him this time around and take it as repayment.

After that, she stepped back inside the room from which she had come and then went to the room that Father Fang had told her about. Just as Father Fang told her, the two empty rooms were completely empty, and no one stayed there. Of course, there were a lot of supplies that were stacked inside.

There were forty or fifty boxes that were placed inside the room.

Bai Meiyue was not in a hurry to check the companies with whom she could barter. For the time being, she was still thinking about how to get out of the room and deal with Boss Du and his people.

She waited until there was no sound of footsteps coming from outside and then slowly opened the door of the room where she was hiding. However, just as she stepped out of the room, she saw a large door blocking the staircase to the fifth floor.

No wonder Boss Du was so at ease.

Bai Meiyue first exchanged a few devices to turn the electrical functions of the door off and then opened it before changing the lock and putting in her own key. She curled her lips as she looked at the door that closed behind her. The safety door, which Boss Du installed, would become his own death trap!

She then turned on her feet and climbed up the stairs. After checking that no one would be able to run away, she walked to the room where Boss Du was staying and opened the door before kicking it open.

As soon as the door was pushed open, Boss Du, who was lying on the bed, jumped up. He shot out a bunch of vines, which Bai Meiyue dodged and then shot him in the hand and legs to make sure that the man wouldn't be able to run.

Of course, she didn't injure him too heavily; she was worried that if the man died too quickly, then it would be too much of a shame. After all, she hadn't even played enough with him yet.

Boss Du was startled. He couldn't see anything or anyone, and yet somehow he was shot!

With his mouth open, he called out for help; however, the second he opened his mouth, Bai Meiyue raised her gun and shot the man right in his mouth. Boss Du fell to his knees as he let out a mournful cry. he wanted to scream in pain but couldn't; he could only gurgle and spit out the blood from his mouth.

However, Bai Meiyue didn't have the slightest bit of sympathy for the man who was on his fours. Boss Du was the kind of man who had killed and plundered many; this could only be counted as a little interest for what he had done.

Bai Meiyue watched as the man crawled on his fours trying to get out of the room, and every time he got close to the door, she would walk over and drag him back inside. And when she got bored of dragging him, she would shoot him. However, she didn't shoot him in a fatal spot; she shot him in places which would be painful but it wouldn't kill him.

By the time she shot him for the fourth time, Boss Du was going crazy.

"Please... please… leave me alone; I will never kill anyone anymore. I will burn paper money for you, whoever you are. I will chant Buddhist scriptures and eat vegetarian food. Just let me go!"

When Bai Meiyue heard his pleading, she was amused. This man really didn't have any guts. She stopped playing with him for a while, and Boss Du thought that the one who was bothering him had left. He got to his feet and then rushed downstairs, where he immediately typed in the key password, but every time he entered the password, the system only gave him one message.

Horrified and angry, Boss Du raised his hands and summoned his vines to break open the door, but before he could break the door, a sharp, icy shard pierced him in the chest. Startled, he looked down at the ice that was melting because of his warm blood and turned to look behind him.

When he saw Bai Meiyue standing on top of the stairs, his eyes widened and he parted his lips to speak but couldn't as his heart stopped beating and he fell to the ground with a bang.
