Ancestral Lineage

Chapter 371: What Would You Do Now, Stepbrother?

Debranlith was a massive world with many cities, kingdoms and empires. The only know empires originally were the Demon Empire, Helhiem and the Dragon Empire, Draconis Imperium and now Anbord. There were various small and big kingdoms such as the Underrealms of the Dwarven Clans, the Forest Courts of the Elves, and the Feral Dominions of the Beastkin. The Sky Realms of Caedria, the Ashen Confederacy, the Ivory Dominion of Sathrael, where the leader called herself an Empress, the war-torn lands of Vahruk, where steel was law and blood the

currency, the Obsidian Spine reigned supreme. The Celestial Isles of Myalunaa, the Black Courts of Nocthollow, and the newly established Fenrir.

These were more or less, the known strongholds in Debranlith. Whether there were more or less, none knew until they went on an expedition to find. This unknown was the reason why Anbord was in a tight spot as to the identity of their attacker and enemy. The aforementioned strongholds were known and they had at least a few information on them, but their enemy was someone wholly unknown. And there was also the variable of Leon, Pisces brother and Ethan's rival. Whether he was an ally was yet to be known, as he seemingly came back from the dead and attacked a whole town, erasing them from the face of the earth. He was proclaimed dead, and his loved ones had moved on, so his recent and abrupt appearance was even more unnerving than the second attacker. Thankfully, the town he attacked wasn't part of Anbord. It was more of an individualistic growing tribe, but that didn't mean he couldn't attack Anbord next.

And his appearance had also affected Pisces very much as she was the most affected when he was proclaimed dead. Despite his unworthy and wicked acts, he was still her brother, and she was heavily affected by this.

That aside, it seemed their enemy, the one who attacked one of the small towns on the outskirts of Anbord was a very close one at that. This rang a very huge alarm for them. The only thing they could do now was take drastic measures like the barrier of Chaos and Order the two kings, Jerry and Reginald created. This could buy them enough time to decipher the code, which was their enemy, or so they thought.

...

The streets of Noctisward were wide and thrumming with life, lined with dazzling attractions of every kind. Neon-lit arcades, zero-gravity dance halls, combat arenas where holographic beasts clashed for sport, and markets overflowing with exotic tech and bio-engineered curiosities filled the city with a vibrant pulse. To the unknowing, this was not the lair of a tyrant but a playground of wonders, a kingdom where shadows themselves seemed to shimmer with opportunity.

And yet, the name of its ruler told another story. King Jerry Silverbane—assassin, killer without hesitation, feared as a phantom who struck without warning. Tales said he would slit the throat of a child if need be, and among all the sovereigns he was the most hated, the most reviled. But Jerry cared little. As long as his king was pleased, so was he.

Noctisward was a paradox: a kingdom where the most ruthless and brutal found sanctuary, where assassins mingled openly with inventors, mercenaries gambled beside merchants, and laughter echoed through streets that outsiders swore the sun itself refused to touch. Outsiders called it a city of eternal night. Insiders knew the truth—it was not death that ruled here, but survival, spectacle, and the thrill of living on the edge.

If only the rest of the world could see it, they would understand—Noctisward was no mere den of shadows. It was the most dangerous amusement park the cosmos had ever known.

In a beautiful grey building that seemed to shimmer with shifting tones under the neon-lit skyline, stood one of Noctisward's most famed taverns. Its exterior was smooth and seamless, as if sculpted from a single slab of metallic stone. Translucent panels ran along the walls, glowing faintly with silver light that pulsed in slow, rhythmic patterns like the heartbeat of the city itself. The architecture bore sharp, clean lines, but with elegant curves that bent reality just enough to feel almost mystical — an intersection of artistry and technology.

The entrance was marked by an arched doorway of polished obsidian alloy, engraved with fractal patterns that rearranged themselves whenever someone passed beneath. Above it, a holographic sign flickered between ancient runes and shifting constellations, giving the tavern its enigmatic allure. Despite the cold grey hue of its walls, the place radiated warmth, music, and laughter that spilled out into the streets — a contradiction to the grim reputation of its ruler.

Inside, the tavern revealed itself to be more than just a place to drink. Suspended platforms floated above the main floor, where guests lounged and dined with panoramic views of the city through translucent walls. Silver lanterns filled with liquid light hung in the air, never still, casting flowing patterns like water on the surfaces below. Holo-stages flickered with performances from dancers, illusionists, and musicians who mixed sound with sorcery, creating spectacles that blended the mystical with the technological.

It was a place where assassins, merchants, mercenaries, and even scholars could sit side by side — exchanging stories, striking deals, or drinking away their sins — all under the shadow of Jerry Silverbane's rule.

In one of the VIP rooms, a handsome young man sat, his blue eyes gleaming softly as he watched a beautiful fox woman dance. His skin was pale, almost like a vampire, but he didn't radiate an aura of death or bloodlust like most vampires do. His long and sharp ears twitched slightly while his face turned a bit red as he felt his member enter a world of wetness and warmness.

"Mm! That... hit the spot," He groaned with pure ecstasy as he slowly the head of the blonde lady giving him a blowjob. The fox woman continued to dance, her movements a blend of grace and poise, her three tails moving mesmerizingly. It was only in Noctisward would you see a three-tailed fox serving as a dancer. That was how dangerous the place was.

Even the blonde giving the man a blowjob was in no way useless or weak. She was dangerous and that made it the more enticing for the man.

"Erwin, is the S-Class ready?" The man asked out loud, looking towards his left where a slim, black-haired man sat, enjoying a vampire woman. His eyes glowed red as the vampire sank her fangs in his neck and shivered in his arms. She'd reached an orgasm!

"Yes, my Lord. Should we deploy it?" Erwin answered as he started moving his hips, causing the vampire to shudder and release a silent moan.

"Not yet. Let's first send them some small presents first."

"Okay,"

"What would you do now, stepbrother?" The man muttered as the image of a white-haired young man with red eyes and pale skin appeared in his mind. His expression was of pure hatred and rage as he started moving his waist, plunging his cock deep into the blonde woman's throat.

'I will kill you myself, Trevor!' He thought as he released a huge stream into the woman's throat.

If only Trevor and the rest knew that the enemy, they sought after was in the same room as them...
